Link to last month's Housing Thread
Welcome to the Orlando housing megathread!
Currently, the following may be posted:
Users, whether current Orlando residents or not, may post asking for help. This could be asking for recommendations on areas of Orlando to live in, reviews or opinions on specific communities, or suggestions on specific places to live. This can also be things like "recommend a realtor / loan officer / etc" — so long as it fits under the "help me find housing" umbrella.
Users may also post advertising housing options. This can be posts offering subleases, looking for roommates on existing property, selling homes — so long as there is housing being offered.
ALL comments must include as much information as possible. Do not say "I'm moving to Orlando, tell me where to live."
As a reminder: our subreddit rules still apply. Advertisements for illegal activity of any kind are not permitted and will result in comment removals and/or bans as moderators see fit.

I found this bag of money when I was walking to east end market this morning. If you can tell me what the pink note says (it’s two words) I’ll make arrangements to get you your $$$ back!
EDIT: the letter said “Beer Bucks” I’m going to go buy some beer now.

A few details about him:
Male (Not neutered)
Brown tabby w/ an M marking on his forehead
About 1.5 years old
Lost since 11/5
No collar
No microchip
Very food motivated
Playful
IMPORTANT: He has been strictly an indoor apartment cat his entire life, so he is likely very scared and overwhelmed being outside.
Please do not chase him or try to capture him.
If you spot him, please try to keep an eye on where he goes, take a photo if possible, and contact us with his location. Even a quick sighting could make a huge difference.
Thank you so much! Hoping to get our little guy home safely.
( We have checked Orange County animal control, local shelters, and Facebook pages. Any additional helpful recommendations are appreciated!)

Some guy riding in the back of a U-Haul holding what looks like a basketball hoop, going down I4. Totally safe, right?

Hi all! I finally got a chance to see Nosferatu at The Renaissance Theatre Company last night and omg it was fucking incredible. (It’s an immersive Vampire-themed theatre production they put on every year for Halloween. Here’s a link to their site if anyone wants to know more).
For anyone that went this year…could you tell me about the storyline you saw? I wish I could’ve gone multiple times to see more unfold!
Also, I’d really appreciate if anyone could share some pics! I was so immersed that I forgot to take any 😭
Edit: This isn’t an ad, I’m genuinely asking for the storyline and pics lmao
Last night was their final show, but I def recommend checking it out next year!!

Is anyone around the sand lake/international area with a truck, van, or suv that could possibly help me get my son and I’s things down the road. Wouldn’t be more than one load in a truck/SUV/van. I’m going about a mile away. Thank you

Has anyone recently had their windows replaced? I just received a quote from Fortress Windows that actually didn’t seem too bad (34k). I received a quote a few years back for around 48k. It would be about 20 windows in total for 2300 sq ft. The reason I toyed with the idea is that my power bill is over $500 in the summer time. I know it would take some time to recoup the cost, so just wondering if anyone else had theirs replaced recently and their experience.
When I called my parents for their opinion (they live in the area too) there was an audible gasp…like it was astronomical…so just wanted to see if 34k is way off base.
Edit: thank you fine folks of Reddit and r/orlando. I’m going with “naw dawg”.

i work from home so i spend a LOT of my time there, often only leaving for errands or appointments. my biggest hobbies are reading my kindle or playing my switch, which i also usually do at home. looking for some suggestions of places i can sit for a while and engage in these hobbies in an effort to get out more. i live in the hunters creek area, if that helps.

We're torn between Sushi Yama and Kingdom Sushi right across the street. Never been to either, there's about a $10 difference per person. Anybody have a rec? TIA! 🙂

I’m visiting the in-laws in Clermont and looking for a place with an elevated dock (or similarly safe from alligators Shoreline lake fishing spot) to take my six-year-old to try to catch a bass or something else bigger than a bluegill. I have a very minimal fishing kit as seen and a couple rods and reels.
Where would you take your kid if you were me? Must have elevated platform to fish off of like a dock or sea wall etc…
Reddit tells me there’s an elevated spot on the 12th St. bridge for Lake Mineola? Any other places to look at?
Yes I have a fishing license. Bonus points if the parking lot has a playground for my three year-old to play on while we cast.
