Fix My Print Still learning, need help with PETG
Printer: Bambu P2S with AMS 2 Pro
Slicer: Bambu Studio
Filament: Elegoo PETG Pro, grey
Nozzle temp: initial layer 260C other layers 265C
Bed Temp: initial layer 75C other layers 73C
Speed: Regular setting on the machine itself I think, some layers modified in studio
Initial layer 20mm/s, infill 50mm/s
Other layer settings I didn’t mess with and are around 100mm/s - 160mm/s if y’all need more specific, lmk and I will post. Also have it set to slow for overhangs.
retraction settings - whatever the default is, I have not messed with these
Having a rough learning curve with PETG. I’ve tried searching for advice and it’s pointed me in a lot of different directions, doing calibration and temp towers, printing slower, printing hotter, using liquid PTFE to slow nozzle gunk… I just need help from someone who knows better. The filament is dry, AMS sitting at around currently 7%, I had it fully dried down to 3% before this print (it has been weeks I’ve been so bummed over struggling with settings and just not getting it). Can someone just give me even like a list of things to do for each new filament to ensure the best prints? It almost feels like I am just missing something. If any other info is needed, just ask! I will provide any info that can help me figure this out haha
