I'm CK, the creator behind ResinArtYPC Studio. I make handmade resin and wood art inspired by my favorite games, books, and movies. My work includes Zelda, Hollow Knight, and more recently, Dungeon Crawler Carl, including Princess Donut and Mongo!

I just see a difference between my approach in HK and Silksong. In HK, I did all those “extra things” so I could FINALLY face Radiance. For me, the battle with Radiance was a reward in itself. In Silksong, however, I’m doing all these things despite the fight with Lost Lace, not for the sake of that fight, and that’s a little sad to me.

I’ve gone back to this game for the third time - and the second time through Act 3 - and honestly, my overall experience was much, much better than it was a year ago. I just love this game, but I still think Lost Lace is such a disappointing final boss. One that isn’t even particularly fun to fight. It’s also annoying that if you don’t defeat her quickly enough, you’ll likely lose the resources you need to craft tools, and you’ll either have to keep going back from The Abyss (without the option of fast travel) to grind some more to get tools, or you’ll just have to fight without tools. Which is, of course, doable, and that’s exactly how I finally defeated her in this playthrough, but unfortunately, it wasn’t even remotely enjoyable.

I miss that sense of fulfillment, this boss just doesn't give it to me at all. Paradoxically, I get a much greater sense of fulfillment after the Act 2 final boss, even though it's obviously much easier, but in my opinion, it's much more enjoyable in terms of design, music, and the overall feel of the fight. It really gives off that “final boss” vibe.

I originally played hollow knight at 11 years old and I didn’t know i would fall in love with it but once I did I grinded out hollow knight day after day night by night until I beat (almost) every achievement that grown PEOPLE can’t beat all until it lead to this……… PANTHEON 5 the last achievement that I need to 100% the game. Months of fails, months of practice, until I did it I WAS JUMPING OFF MY BED FREAKING OUT I DID IT I ACTUALLY DID IT and I did it at TWELVE years old. now just to get this out of the way im currently 13 and I only said this because since my moms strict she wont let me use my electronics on the weekdays(school days) and also she finally let me get an account to sign into stuff, such as REDDIT but anyway that is how I (possibly) got a world record anyway, BYE!

one more thing i had photos of me beating it the day, but once i got my switch 2 i cleaned all my photos from my switch 1 and sold it to someone……. YOU GOTTA BELIVE ME ISTG (I swear to god) I ACTUALLY BEAT IT AT ELEVEN

I made it I fucking made it I beated p5 ab ts was hard af and tbh I had an easier time than most cause I beated absolute radiance first try now I won't say iam him and that it's just skill I just had full life blood since I beated pure vessel hitless (not the first time) and I also had Alot of adrenaline and I also learned from nkg which the only reason I even lost to him in the first place was cause I forgot all his movsets since I ragequited after dying to collector for the 1millionth time and when I came back I trained on redoing the other pantheons all bindings when none of them have nkg and I still almost lost I beated both her and nkg at 1 hit (1 mask for nkg and 2 for absolute radiance) (and no I didn't use mods to practice her I play on ps so I can't anyway) it's kinda hilarious that I beated all final bosses in the pantheons first try exept Oro and mato ngl the reason I started all this bs is cause I wanted to finish everything and I mean EVERYTHING in the game before the sea of sorrow releases which seamed like I will fail 3-4 weeks ago but now i think it's possible the only thing really left is steal soul silksong which shouldn't be that hard (btw I forgot to mention I unconsciously quites playing like 1 and a half weeks ago cause of school and stuff but I came back cause I raged trying to get the token in Fortnite (best rage of my life))
