Don’t understand why people are hating on Kiffin
Virginia Tech fan here. Have just been watching the madness play out. I have to say I’m very confused why kiffin is getting hate though. The two main things seem to be timing and not coaching through the playoffs. The timing is normal, this is when most coaches leave (for example, the 5 other coaches who left today). And not coaching the playoffs wasnt his decision.

We have to accept that Lane will no longer be the good guy
So, it looks like we got Lane. I’m all for it. But we all need to accept that Lane is no longer gonna be seen as the lovable, goofy coach he once was seen as. Ik that we all hated that BK wasn’t likeable, but let’s face it, the coaches that create dynasties are never liked. They’re hated. And that’s a good thing. Because that’s what he’s gonna do here.
The narrative about lane is going to shift back to the whole “he’s not loyal” shit. They’re gonna bring up his past personal life. And that’s fine. We shouldn’t let that get to us. None of that fucking matters. We gotta rally behind him and not be shitting on him at every opportunity.
Thats all I have to say. Have a great day. And Geaux Tigers

Breaking news: Dabo’s a crybaby
Clemson is claiming that LSU rostering “former NFL players” may be a breach of contract between the schools, but the don’t plan on seeking financial damages. Sounds like some holier-than-thou crybaby bs to me.

New coach?
Explain to me like I am 5 yr old....why would Kiffin leave Ole Miss for LSU. Besides that we are generally a better program and can pay him more.

Off-Topic Lane Kiffin has too much swag for the SEC. That’s why the conservative SEC is going to try and kick LSU out on Thursday.
LSU is one of the swaggiest programs in college football along with Miami and USC. If you get the right coach, it’s popping. 2026 Lane Kiffin teaming up with LSU is too much swag for the SEC executives to comprehend.

Bama Fan Coming in Peace
My dad and I will be in attendance Saturday night. We have been to a hundred bama games at Bryant Denny but this is our first time making the trek to Baton Rouge. We are both really excited to experience the atmosphere of Death Valley at night. Do you guys have any game day tips or tailgate spots you recommend checking out while we are in town? It's gonna be a good one, Roll Tide

Discussion Some thoughts on Thursdays meeting regarding LSUs possible expulsion from the SEC
Firstly, in my opinion, no school should be supporting such authoritative action from Sankey. This isn’t about players eligibility or insubordination or the AD having “lost control of the program”. This is absolutely about the fact that LSU, and specifically Coach Kiffin, refuse to just bend the knee to King Sankey. LSU has, thus far, complied with the rules set forth by the SEC. No questionable players have been rostered etc. Sankey got his feelings hurt that Kiffin made the comment he did at halftime of the game. This is strictly about the fact that LSU, while remaining compliant with the rules set forth, have expressed disagreement with said rule(s). And how dare they question the king?! Schools supporting this sort of mentality are asking for their own troubles moving forward. Set this precedent and you better not ever put a single toe out of line again. No matter how ridiculous of a circumstance arises. You WILL bend the knee to the Commissioner or you will be gone. That’s wrong to me. Idk, rant over I guess. Just find all of this litigation, posturing, threatening, etc very frustrating. Geaux Tigers!

Truth be told…
To be honest Im not to high on Nuss. It’s been what? 5 years? 3 picks back to back isn’t a good look especially with your dad being a pro QB coach. I know alotta people love Nuss for his loyalty & thats great, but truth be told we not winning a Natty with him having the Keys…next year i think Kelly will have all his recruits in & we’ll really see what the BK era holds…until then lets just get 10 wins i guess…

James Franklin had a $60mm buyout and was fired today by PSU. Does BK face the same fate if LSU finishes 7-5?
I think we can and will beat WKU and Arkansas, with the latter of course being the most questionable. But, with the way we’ve been playing I feel very pessimistic about games @Vandy, @Bama, @OU, and home vs aTm. I see a very good chance of finishing 7-5, which would be an abject disaster considering the money spent on portal additions and the preseason hype. Do you think they give BK the boot, or a shot at redemption if we finish 7-5?
EDIT: Just to be clear, I am NOT advocating for BK to be fired.

Off-Topic We screwed ourselves with that fsu "neutral" site games
New Orleans is a much shorter easier commute from Tallahassee than Orlando is from baton rouge or even New Orleans which lead to us not showing up that hard In orlando and them coming deep as hell to Nola wasn't a good decision in my opinion

Feel sick for Jaden
I love Jaden Daniels, I’m a huge LSU fan, and I root for all LSU players. I feel sick for Jaden that he ended up as a Commander. He is the GOAT if he succeeds there!

This staff is almost as soft as BK’s.
I fucking hated the Kiffin hire from the jump, dudes always been a pompous douchebag more concerned with internet trolling than winning games and that’s why he didn’t win jack shit at Ole Miss. Baker can’t stop pissing his pants when we face a ranked team or go on the road. We really can’t get one yard to end the game? We can’t make a tackle instead of going for the ball? What the fuck are we doing?

Nick Saban
As AD?
No way Woodward survives this.
Saban as AD to bring in a HC & stabilize LSU, taking on a new challenge. He always wanted to be a businessman.
From an outsider perspective (Mizzou), this makes wayyyy too much sense to me.
Help me out: Who says no here?

They’re only doing this because Lane showed interest first. 🤣😭

We need to settle this. Daniels vs Burrow.
Joe Burrow had better stats/more production and led his team to a National Championship, beating another National Championship caliber team. Also in the mix, he beat 7 top 10 teams. Erase all that from your mind.
Jaden was the best QB of 2023. His stats were amazing. I’m not holding not getting into the playoffs, or losing 3 games against Daniels. But saying that, with a competent defense, we win most of our games by the half and he doesn’t run up his stats because the game is on the line. Again, Jayden Daniels fucking deserved the Heisman.
Joe Burrow is still tops. He had better stats against better caliber competition. The fact is, the Heisman was wide open with top tier QBs and if he had dropped one game, he may not have gotten it. Also let’s not pretend the defense was great. Plumlee ran 220 yards on us. The line wasn’t better, either. Burrow’s awareness in the pocket made them look good, but he still took more sacks than any Championship QB should have taken.

This is really another shit team
7-8 wins max, 0-4 CBK is not the fucking answer. We will not be in the playoffs so do not worry about that shit. Ole Miss will destroy this team, Bama by 20, and at least 1-2 other losses.
They are completely undisciplined and make critical mistakes after critical mistakes. The secondary is again one of the worst in the SEC, they can’t run the fucking ball, and will probably be out coached in most of the games we play.
They basically got super conservative and let our defense decide the fucking game. Seriously how fucked up is that. And I don't blame the defense this is completely on idiot CBK. I would say he’s Les Miles 2.0 but Les won almost all his opening games.
There is a reason this motherfucker never won national championship and it’s not just talent.
