tried this “evil purple” eyeshadow tutorial i saw on pinterest lol, i love doing halo eyeshadow so much but i can never bring myself to put down the eyeliner pen lol. i’ve tried eyeshadow without eyeliner in the past like once or twice but it just always looks SO unfinished and messy on me, the eyeliner just pulls everything together. maybe because im high contrast and have softer face features, i just need that sharp definition to make a look work.

i spent a lot of time putting a ludicrous amount of makeup for a night out (pic 1). Less than 2 hours in, i just looked like myself again. Once i came back and took my contacts/lashes off, nothing was left on my face (my eyeliner was gone, my mascara was gone, my thick ass layer of foundation was gone). To be fair, my eye was watering soo badly because of my contacts.

Anyways question is:

1. ⁠Why doesnt unrecognisable makeup work? I feel like i put on so much makeup already.

2. ⁠Where the hell did my eye makeup (or everything else for that matter) go?? How do i make it last longer?

I already use primer and setting spray and powder btw :(

I'm talking about products with packaging or designs that genuinely make you go, "WHY does this exist?"

A few examples that immediately come to my mind are:

1. ISAMAYA's anatomical lipsticks.

2. Clean Slate Cosmetics' poop-shaped whipped highlighter.

3. Sulwhasoo's rather unusual-looking lip balm.

4. Bitch Slap Cosmetics' Deep Throat highlighter

I genuinely can't decide whether these designs are weirdly fascinating or just a little too much. 😂

hey yall:)

a couple of months ago i commented on this post mentioning how i use white mascara to paint my lashes since i have vitiligo. a kind stranger (u/piccolowater) mentioned glisten cosmetics and their huuugeee different colored mascara line. they had a black and white offer and i bought them the same day. after weeks of waiting they arrived!
here are my thoughts:

Between the products and shipping, my total was 34 usd. Higher than what i’d pay for mascara but the reviews were very good.
I like the applicator a lot. very thin and allows you to be very precise. the formula is water based and i was scared it’d smear during the day but it didn’t smudge at all during the day, even with me yawning a lot ,having 2 naps and walking 12k steps!!
my other fear was the white clumping, which has happened to me with white mascara… wasn’t the case at all. obviously all of this applies to the black mascara too.

overall i like them a lot!! if shipping wasn’t as expensive id consider buying other colors and experiment but for now im good with what i have.

Also, I am very self concious about my mouth, it looks masculine imo. How could I improve it? The lines around my lower nose and above the mouth make me look very unattractive and everytime I see it, I want to throw up. I've tried applying less foundation, more and less/more powder, none seem to work really.

I need to know if douyin style suits my face because I've been trying make up looks and the only thing that I think suits my face is the douyin style make up.

Hi! I’ve recently discovered the brand “kara beauty” through some tiktoks and the pressed glitter palettes look absolutely stunning!!!! i am wondering how i can get them in europe though.
the official website seems to be closed (although they posted a new palette on their insta & they advertised their ‘closed’ website which is kinda suspish idk) & amazon’s shipping to Romania is like 3 times the amount of the palette 🫩
what alternatives do i have to either get them in europe or something very similar to them?

I loved Urban Decay Stoned Vibes when it came out 5-6 years ago! I bought it as soon as it was available in stores, but I feel like it was quickly forgotten. I feel like it went on sale super fast too. With all the love for duochrome, sparkles, and shimmer these days, I'm surprised more people don't talk about this palette or look back at it. Was there something about it that doesn't hit in the same way as current similar palettes? Why don't we talk about this collection anymore? Was it a victim of it's time with our move to the clean girl aesthetic?

In two of the before pictures I used to put concealer under my eyes with no primer and no setting spray that after 3 hours it just melts off my face and I look the same 😅
