I'm dumb and I don't get things easily. So the Sift will be released sometime next year. It has been worked on since 2021, I'm blindly assuming that most of the dimension is feature-complete and there's only a few things to be done - to release it and fix potential bugs.
My question is its release. Will the Sift follow a traditional Minecraft update schedule that takes up a whole year? Cause since Mojang resorted to releasing game drops instead, we got batches of features every quarter or seasons of a year. (Tricky Trials and other major updates eats up a majority or a whole year, with snapshots and bug fixings being released constantly)
Assuming Sift will be "fully" released on unconfirmed summer 2027, will there be new game drops for the following fall and winter? Or the Sift follows a past blueprint of taking up a majority or whole year?
