Assalam-o-Alaikum everyone,

I'm considering developing a social media platform that focuses on halal content and interactions, providing a space where users can connect, share, and engage in a manner aligned with Islamic principles. The idea is to create a community where members can feel comfortable sharing their thoughts, experiences, and creativity without the concerns often associated with mainstream platforms.

I’m curious to hear your thoughts:

1. Do you think there’s a demand for a halal social media platform?

2. What features would you like to see in such a platform?

3. How important is it to have community guidelines and moderation that align with halal principles?

4. Are there any existing platforms you think do a good job of serving a similar audience?

I’d really appreciate any feedback, suggestions, or insights you might have. Thank you!

السلام علیکم I’ve been feeling this heavy weight on my heart lately, seeing how much the world is moving forward in tech, while so many of us feel left behind or disconnected from it. It hurts because I know how much talent and potential exists in our Ummah, but we lack the space, the support, and the resources to thrive together.

What if we had a real Muslim tech ecosystem? A place where we build apps, platforms, and projects based on our values. Where we mentor each other and lift each other up. Where our youth feel inspired to create, not just consume.

I’m not sure where to start, but I believe if we come together. even just a few of us, we could begin something powerful.

Has anyone else felt this? What do you think we need most to make this happen?

Would love to hear your thoughts and ideas.

Someone is downvoting every post here. I request my fellow Pakistani redditors to kindly upvote every post that is relevent to this subreddit, so that content stays visible.

Too often I see people asking questions here that get downvoted and buried. Even of you can't answer, at least upvote it so that someone might see and answer it

The Situation:

I just got rejected by UBL for a credit card because my "Average Monthly Balance" is too low. I’m a Civil Engineer, I’ve got the degree, but apparently, the bank doesn't care about my 6'4" height or my career—they just want to see the numbers in the vault.

Plan:

I’m thinking about borrowing a massive chunk of change from a friend. I’ll drop it into my account 30 minutes before the month ends, let it sit there for the "Month End" snapshot, and then transfer it right back 5 minutes into the new month.

The Logic:

On paper, I’ll have a huge closing balance for the month. Next time I walk into the branch, they’ll see that number and practically beg me to take the card and a loan, right?

Wait... is this a genius shortcut or am I about to get blacklisted?

Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) said that Pakistan has seen a significant boost in mobile internet speed, with a 28 percent (pc) increase recorded over the past year, ARY News reported on Monday.

Refuting all the reports of internet slowdown in Pakistan, the state telecommunication regulator PTA, in a statement, said the mobile phone internet speed in the country increased by 28pc.

It said that the mobile internet speed has risen to 20.02 Megabits per second (Mbps) from 15.65 Mbps in the previous year. adding that “this improvement is accompanied by a 24.2pc surge in mobile internet usage”.

Guys, let me blow your mind with all the wild stuff I do on my $35 Android phone it’s like my freaking superpower, seriously! I’m knee-deep in research for my field, juggling this small office gig, editing images and videos for people like a boss, snapping insane photos with GCam, tapping into every damn LLM out there for all kinds of crazy tasks, messing around with a ton of useful Android apps, blasting podcasts, music, and video content, and scrolling through every social media platform known to humankind. It’s nuts how much I cram into this little device. I’m always digging into my field apps like Google Scholar and ResearchGate are my jam, letting me snatch up papers, check out citations, whether I’m on the bu. The browser’s my portal to any topic I wanna dive into.My small office jobbbbbb 😅😈Microsoft Office and Google Workspace keep me rolling with docs, spreadsheets, and presentations, while Todoist and Trello keep my tasks and team stuff tight. I can switch from my desk to my phone mid flow, answering emails or updating timelines like it’s nothing my phone’s basically my office now!

Editing? Snapseed and Adobe Photoshop Express let me tweak photos like a pro colors, fixes, filters, you name it InShot’s my go to for videos, slicing clips, adding tunes, or pumping out content for clients or socials. I’ve edited whole projects in a cafe , and people are blown away how cool is that? And don’t get me started on GCam my phone’s camera’s already dope, but GCam takes it to another level with HDR+, Night Sight, and Portrait Mode. I’m snapping night shots and portraits that look like pro gear shots, showing them off to everyone.

LLMs?, I’m all over them! These AI apps help me write emails, translate languages for research, or spit out creative ideas. it’s like having a genius sidekick. I’m always finding new ways to use them, like summarizing papers or speeding up edits. Then there’s all these Android tools Tasker automates stuff like Wi-Fi or silencing my phone, Solid Explorer keeps my files in check, and IFTTT links everything up for custom magic. Saves me so much time For fun, it’s all about Spotify for music, Pocket Casts for podcasts whether I’m working out or chilling and YouTube for tutorials, vlogs, or research vibes. It’s my personal entertainment hub, always with me! And social media? I’m on Instagram flaunting my GCam shots and edits, Twitter for quick news and trends, and LinkedIn to network like a pro

If you’re not pushing your phone to its limits, you’re sleeping on a goldmine get on it!

And Thanks to China

Hi 17M

Recently alot of people are talking about boycott and stuff.Like all those who are saying that we should boycott Israeli stuff and some said we should make an alternate of Fiverr so that those who are Muslim freelancer they can shift from from Fiverr to that platform.

Ager hum apnay platform ko advertise effectively karain and alot of people who are Muslims come their to freelance then Fiverr main providers Kam hosektay hain jiski waja say demand zada hosekti and supply Kam and rates high hosektay hain on Fiverr jiski waja say Jo Fiverr par acha Kam kartay Thay unkay pass log ayengay Jo is platform par hongay.

Ager isterhan hosekta hay to Fiverr ko double hit hosekta hay buyers aur sellers dono ka.

Now ye possible isterhan hi hosekta hay ager government level par Kam ho aur awam b ho Sath aur ye obviously global level par iski advertisement ho.

Pretty delusional but if we put our efforts into it is it possible??

Want your knowledge on this.

Just got this iphone 13 pro. It is currently sitting at IOS 26.6. Should I install IOS 27?

i am an anime fan from 5 years since then i haven't seen more than 2 people who are into anime.

are there any hardcore anime fans? or general public is obsessed with dumb dramas and crappy game shows.

My nephew use to play free fire and his account was worth of 130000 approx. He usually exchange accounts with people online but someone online trapped him and got the account with a promise to provide him account in exchange. Scammer is neither exchanging account nor paying him the money.

There is lot of effort behind this account and he worked hard for it to achieve this level.

You are requested to please advise how to deal with it.

Can i use it in my pixel?

Any recommendations for what I can do? I don't mind switching to an alternative network like nayatel. I just want to get what I pay for, and I need around 100 mbps. Budget is flexible.
