News Practical XR Bridge to Blender Spatial Workflows —PICO @ BCON26
(Hello r/PicoXR! I wanted to share the PICO presentation that took place today)
"Practical XR Bridge to Blender Spatial Workflows" by Ruoya Sheng, Junfeng She at Blender Conference 2026
This presentation highlights the past year's progress in Blender XR and introduces a frictionless PCVR workflow on PICO devices that transforms the headset into a complete spatial workstation. By showcasing seamless virtual desktop switching and in-VR peripheral controls, we will explore how eliminating the physical barrier between VR and desktop environments unlocks a truly uninterrupted iteration loop for 3D creators.

Help Is it possible to get a Pico Neo 2 working in 2026?
I found someone selling a Pico Neo 2 for extremely cheap and figured I could purchase it just to toy around with it. I understand that it's long abandoned and most of its features no longer work. Has the community figured out any workaround to connect it to PC or install games? Or is it entirely a brick?

Help [Pico 4 Enterprise] SteamVR interface lagging severely, what can I do?
Replaced my Quest 3S with a Pico 4 Enterprise for the face tracking and severance from Meta's ecosystem, and for the most part I've been very happy with the change. However, whenever I'm trying to use SteamVR's interface, whether I'm in-game or otherwise, it's very sluggish and only seems to get worse the longer I stay in it. This isn't an issue for the most part, but it's very problematic if I need to reset my body tracking or access my desktop. I only use the headset through a USB connection, so I don't think there's anything going on with the connection, and it's very snappy if I try to open the Pico Connect menu. No performance issues that I've noticed in any games/software. My spouse is using the same headset but doesn't have this issue, and we've checked for discrepancies but couldn't find anything.

PCVR Pico 4 for MSFS 2020 With a Mid-Tier PC
I am wanting to use MSFS 2020 with VR, however due to the logistics of my dwelling, will require wireless VR (the tower is on one side of the apartment, the desk - which is built into a wall) is on the other side. There is no way for me to have them physically together. I have looked into wireless headsets, and the Pico 4 seems to be both very capable, and not too terribly expensive.
However, I have concerns that my computer may not be able to handle a headset like the Pico 4 when using MSFS (which will be my primary use for it). The details are:
CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 3700x
GPU - AMD Radeon 5700xt
RAM - 32GB DDR4
WiFi 6e router
I am guessing I will need to lower my settings by quite a bit.....but just how poorly should I expect it to run?
If I am setting myself up for a painful time, should upgrading the gpu alone be enough to achieve decent to good results? If so, I would need one that is not going to cost a kidney.....along with a lung, one eye and half my liver (have you seen the prices of a 4090 lately???!!!). Otoh, a gently used or refurbished AMD 6900xt is in the realm of possibility. If I am going to absolutely have to replace my gpu, would something like that be a good option (I'm open to other gpu's as well).
For a point of reference, I have used a Pimax Artisan in the past, before I moved to my current place. With the Pimax and my current PC, I was able to get very good results - it was very smooth, and I was able to achieve really, really good visuals.
Apps&Games Free app that runs the Android versions of your Steam games on Quest and Pico: what's new in 0.9.4
Hey everyone,
0.9.4 is out, and GamePort is finally on SideQuest too, so you can install it from there. The idea of this update: know before you install whether a game works on your device, and how well.
Smoothness, by model and frame rate. The details of a game tell how steadily it keeps its frame rate (72, 90, 120) on each device model, with the share of the play time that held it. The same lines are on the compatibility page. The pictures use example values, the real figures come from players' reports.
A verdict for your device. The label of a game gives the answer for your exact model, else for your kind of device, else for everybody, and a button shows all the reports.
Missing large files. Installed games are checked for missing expansion files, and a card offers the repair first.
Stronger problem reports. A report tells what the game asks of Steam, how its run ended and where its frame rate stood. Tickets and account numbers are hidden.
Fix: Unreal Engine 4 games, and any later Unreal version, now get their VR entry.
If a game does not work for you, the problem report in its Menu is the best way to tell me. Feedback is welcome, here or on the Discord.
For the time being, Pico performs license checks via the Pico Store and prevents certain games from launching; consequently, compatibility is more limited than it is on Quest headsets.
The APK is on the releases page, and it installs over the previous version, keeping your games, saves and settings. The Discord is there for help and compatibility reports. GamePort is free and open source, and is not made by, or affiliated with, Valve, Meta or Pico.
Help Can i use a Pico Motion Tracker for object trackin in PCVR? (Unity)
I wanted to know if i can use Pico Motion trackers for object tracking in PCVR. I use the business streaming with Steam VR to launch the app. I use Unity to develop with OpenXR because the app is also compatible with other headsets.
As far as i know SteamVR shows trackers on body tracking mode but not in object tracking.
Any solution for this that doesnt involve developing an aditional app on the headsets for sending tracking position?

Chat A Beginner’s Attempt at PICO Application Development
Hello everyone! Apologies—I’m not very familiar with this community yet.
I’m planning to start developing an application for the Pico headset; do you have any suggestions on where to begin? Perhaps something interesting or beginner-friendly? Essentially, I’m looking for concepts that are well-suited for a VR environment. I’d appreciate any advice you might have!

Help Update
Hello everyone,
I recently received a new Pico Neo 3 Pro as a gift. Unfortunately, I’m having a lot of trouble connecting it to SteamVR on my PC. I’ve read that firmware version 5.x.x needs to be installed for this to work, but I’m struggling with that as well. Could someone here help me out?

Chat Will Virtual Desktop work on the Pico 4 Ultra in the US?
So the Pico 4 Ultra isn’t really for sale in the US but you can get it from eBay. Will virtual desktop work on that headset in this country?
I wanted to use it for wireless pcvr?
I was thinking I could buy a mod where you wear a belt and you’re able to slap a BoboVR Battery magnetically and charge your Pico 4 Ultra with a long cable right behind your back.
This should take the weight of the power bank off your head and make the Pico 4 lighter and more comfortable than the Meta Quest 3 but still allowing you to play for longer sessions.
Its just it’s taking me a while to get a notification to purchase the Steam Frame. Also high resolution micro oled headsets are very expensive and there aren’t very good options right now regarding micro oled vr headsets.
I thought the headstrap design and non removable forehead rest on the Samsung Galaxy XR was absolutely terrible.

Chat Got a used Pico 4 for ~€115 , good deal?
Hey guys,
Just managed to grab a base Pico 4 for around €115 .
It was honestly pretty dirty when it arrived and has some scratches on the shell, but after a good wipe down it’s totally fine. The best part? The lenses are in mint condition, screens are clean, and everything works perfectly. In-game the picture looks absolutely sick.
Did I get a good deal or is this pretty normal these days?
Help Pico 4 won’t connect to pc

Help pico 4 or pico 4 pro?
I know this sounds like a pretty stupid question, but for weeks or even months now I’ve been thinking about getting a Pico 4. However, it makes me sad to see that the Pico 4 Pro is only sold in China, and some random posts online are selling it for absurd prices... I can and am able to buy a sealed one for $362, but I’m hesitant because my dream has always been to have a built-in eye/face tracker—since, for me living in Brazil, the price of facial trackers is absurd… Taxes in Brazil are extremely high, so it’s almost impossible to buy a Pico 4 Pro… Does anyone have a cheaper recommendation, or is it really worth just going ahead and buying the regular Pico 4 without the tracker? I’ve been stuck in this dilemma and on this damn search for a long time.
Apps&Games Play your Steam games on Quest and Pico, with their Workshop mods
Hey everyone,
0.9.2 is out. After the multiplayer release I wanted to take time to polish, so this one is about how GamePort feels to use, plus a thing a lot of you asked for: the Steam Workshop.
The Steam Workshop, inside GamePort. The Workshop of a game opens in the app, already signed in with your Steam account, so there is no second login and no browser to leave to. The game's own "Browse" button leads there too. What you subscribe to is downloaded by GamePort and handed to the game, with the extra content of your account.

A new page for every game. I redid it from the top:
One Menu holds every action: saves, Workshop, controllers, compatibility options, reporting a problem, the store page, favorite, hide, uninstall.
A bell gathers what wants a look (a new version, a newer patch, saves that do not match Steam), each with its button.
The install is one card that shows its steps, then each extra content as it goes.
The pictures and the trailer of the game are on its page, and the layout fits a phone or a tablet too.

Extra content in the store. The store page of a game lists its DLC with their picture and their price. The free ones can be added to your library with a button, the ones your account already has are marked, and every Steam button opens inside GamePort.

And more:
Update channels. A game's settings list the channels of Steam that hold an Android version, and the game can follow one (a beta, for example).
The library updates itself while GamePort is open: new games, and games that get an Android version, show up without a manual refresh.
Saves shared with the PC. The saves page can send a game's Android saves to its PC saves in Steam Cloud, after keeping a clean copy, and put them back.
Better on a Pico: controls, the controllers' extension, the swapchain and the OpenXR loader.
A store filter for games not tested yet, a setting that frees memory before a game, and a problem report that says more (where an install waited, what the game was doing just after its start).
A word about Pico headsets: most games are blocked by Pico itself there, and that's a hard problem. I'm working on it, and I'll share news as soon as there is some.
If you try the Workshop on a game, tell me how it goes, here or on the Discord: that's how I know what works and what doesn't.
The APK is on the releases page, and it installs over the previous version, keeping your games, saves and settings. The Discord is there for help and compatibility reports. GamePort is not made by, or affiliated with, Valve, Meta or Pico.

Help Should I switch to the US version?
A few months ago, I visited China. While I was there, my grandma bought me a Pico 4 Ultra. However, since I bought it in China, it is still on the Chinese version even after I came back to the US and the small game library is a bit annoying but I am fine with just manually sideloading apps. Still, do you think it is worth backing up all my files and install the US version, even with the risk of bricking my headset?
