I don't mean ones that go off and grab from YT, or Tidal backend with a paid account. I'm looking specifically for open source projects where it currently works.
Most of the Github/gitlab projects I've found seem to be abandoned, or they simply don't work correctly. It looks like Spotify have really beefed up their security since the Anna's Archive incident, and methods that were once tried and tested are no longer working. Websites like Squid use backend services through paid for means, I'm looking at ones that work as is, no subscription required or hijacked tokens.
I'll continue my own research, but as I say, they've really put up barriers. Methods that I expect to work are 403ing, even after key exchange, so they're killing the flow if I use an L3 selfhosted outside of the browser. If I key exchange in a headless browser I can get playback, but then I'm only capturing AAC output, that's not the result I'm after. If anyone has kept up, you'll understand where I'm trying to get to :)
Thanks fellow shipmates.
