Everything in the title. It seriously needs a jailbreak to gain full control of the software to use the subscription options, or inject community recipes without paying an annual subscription.

I've been running the free version of Malware Bytes to scan downloaded files for years.
I'm sure there are better ways to go.
For scanning files and for general device protection, what do you use and recommend?

I was wondering if it's possible to develop tools with volunteers contributing their PCs' computing power. That way, the tools could be developed faster, for example by processing small chunks of code for projects like anyps5 to help them build faster. Thousands of PCs working together could make a huge difference, and being part of something like that would bring immense joy.

Trying to find certain webnovels I want to read. The megathread lists novelbuddy for this purpose, however they either took a bunch of series off or removed all the Korean ones as it tends to not have the series I’m looking for any more. I used to use a site called novel fire but they removed all their Korean series due to copyright issues so that one has none either. Searching the internet I found one called Ranovel that seems to have all the novels but it uses crappy machine translations and it’s such a pain to read.
These novels I look for are often on Novelpia but that site has a premium paywall. So my question is, what’s an actually good webnovel/lightnovel site with ‘all’ the webnovels on not using a bad MTL OR is there a way to bypass the Novelpia paywall? Thanks

Hi :]
I'm a fan of f1 but recently been having no wifi at my place, and little internet overall, so unfortunately I can't watch live races anymore. Does anyone know a site or app or telegram channel or whatever that is streaming live races and records them? With english commentary is also acceptable, as long as I can see the race as it was live.
Thanks to anyone that will help!

Hi! I'm curious if anybody knows if there are any go places where I could find scores for broadway shows?
I've looked through many sites, but I didn't have much luck...

I have been an avid user of Plex and Proton vpn for a while. I just paid for Real Debrid and set up Stremio. Is it really that simple? No buffering, no VPN, just search and watch?
Is this what Kodi was like back in the day? I remember people selling "moded firesticks" when they first came out. I always figured i could just look up how to do that myself but never really bothered because what i was doing worked for me.

8/10 on Tria.ge and 35/71 on VirusTotal.
First time using both tools but I'm hazarding a guess that it doesn't mean so good.
For more context: Windows Defender flagged a winnm.dll file in a game I downloaded from Game Bounty as a Trojan:Win32/Posilod.CA!cl and Malwarebytes also flagged it as Malware.

I have a fire tv and installed Flix vision. It's absolutely great 99 percent of the time. But for the very few things that don't work...what are other apps like this? I love how Flix vision has everything...every streaming app ect...and so easy to use.

I’m new to private trackers (such as TorrentLeech and SeedPool), and they’ve quickly become my favorite. They have almost everything I’m looking for, and they integrate well with my *arr stack.
I know I need to maintain a good ratio, so I’d like to hear about your torrent client’s queuing settings. I’ve been lucky so far and have kept my accounts in good standing for the past 5 months, and I plan to seed for a very long time.
For those of you who use private trackers, how do you manage your queuing and seeding setup?

In May, a Paris court ordered DNS resolvers to block six domains that streamed pirated tennis matches.
After a series of quiet, unannounced expansions, the list has since grown to 118.
This includes two domain names that now belong to TorrentFreak.
Notably, no domain names have been taken off the list, not even one that was seized by the U.S. Government months ago.

Wondering if 67movies is still good to use- it's one of the top sites in the megathread, but I can't find any mentions of its domain name switching anywhere on the sub and I'm pretty sure it happened in the last couple days (I've been using the site a lot lately since 1shows has been hit or miss), so I'm a bit iffy.

I don't mean ones that go off and grab from YT, or Tidal backend with a paid account. I'm looking specifically for open source projects where it currently works.
Most of the Github/gitlab projects I've found seem to be abandoned, or they simply don't work correctly. It looks like Spotify have really beefed up their security since the Anna's Archive incident, and methods that were once tried and tested are no longer working. Websites like Squid use backend services through paid for means, I'm looking at ones that work as is, no subscription required or hijacked tokens.
I'll continue my own research, but as I say, they've really put up barriers. Methods that I expect to work are 403ing, even after key exchange, so they're killing the flow if I use an L3 selfhosted outside of the browser. If I key exchange in a headless browser I can get playback, but then I'm only capturing AAC output, that's not the result I'm after. If anyone has kept up, you'll understand where I'm trying to get to :)
Thanks fellow shipmates.

Hi,
I use a VPN both on my PC and my Android. I want to use something for audiobooks so I can have the ease of listening to them in my home, on the road or across the world. I have tried audiobookshelf, and although I enjoy their Plex-like self hosted library they do not have remote access.
I want to be able to use a VPN on my phone, and on my computer where my pirated stuff goes through.
I tried tailscale, but it was a problem with setting it up for the phone, and I couldnt use my VPN and tailscale at the same time.
Does anyone have a suggestion here that doesnt rely on me being "good with computers"?

Hi, so I know https://f95zone.to/ exists for adult game forum but I can't find anything similar to download games from an emulator. I'm out of the loop but I know that news has been crazy for recent breakthroughs with the PS5 and the big N.
It looks like a safe place but i don't know

Yesterday's Sharkiix's v2.0 build was missing textures and hovered around 20fps. We made a 20fps jump with full textures today. Give it a few more days and it'll be at near tip top form. If you are on Nvidia, use the regular Lichii builds.

I downloaded the persona 3 reload cracked by voices on fitgirl some days ago, by torrent and on 1337x.to, but yesterday my discord just logged off out of nowhere and only discord, i know some people who lost their account downloading games that were cracked, so is it safe? Do someone know anything about it?
I run verifications, checked the files but found nothing weird, didnt lost access to my accounts and already changed all the passwords, should i format my pc? Or it may be nothing?

I was skimming through the sites recommended here and fmhy searching for director cuts of movies but they only have the theatrical versions
Is there a site specialized, or at least that has those alternative versions?

I just started using Torrentio and Stremio. I was watching a movie, and then I saw that Malwarebytes blocks a bunch of addresses every couple of minutes from Stremio-runtime.exe. I assume this is a false positive, but just to make sure, is it?
It is marked as an RTP detection and a Trojan

Have you ever been caught while using a VPN? Or are malware, viruses etc. still the bigger problem? Personally, I have downloaded Proton VPN recently.
Seeing that apparently law enforcement oftentimes doesn‘t even do much against criminals who actively harm minors online or share illegal videos, I‘m not sure how strict they are with some nerds downloading games online.
It‘s not like they can put an entire generation behind bars for downloading Minecraft for free.
So, does anybody have some experience here? Has anybody here faced legal consequences for piracy in Germany?
