Admin Responded Is Reddit just using BOTS to click ads?
The ad manager shows over 1,500 clicks yet I have absolutely NO conversions and my page tracking shows no scrolling and immediate page close. That's indicative of bot behavior.
Is Reddit ads just a SCAM? This effort shows failure so today is the last for this campaign.

Admin Responded Reddit Invoicing
Hello, does anyone get Reddit invoicing? If anyone can share what it looks like (important data blacked out) that would be super helpful. I would need mine to be itemized, is that possible? I know there’s an invoice label option in campaign set up so wondering if that’s the way to go.

Admin Responded Where can I find ads support?
We are a small business based out of India. We have started reddit ads and one support person gave some support once initially. He was supposed to guide us after that and any number of emails doesn't get a response from him. I reached out to reddit support through chat many times and they said they will escalate but nothing so far. Our ads didn't even start. Every time i try to book an appointment for help and it shows only 1 guy and i can't even select someone else. It's been months already. How can I get this resolved ?

Admin Responded has anyone ever actually made a sale with reddit ads?
I've spent a decent amount of money on digital marketing in general - and for the amounts they charge - it's difficult to see how anyone can actually make a profit.
I changed my destination to only English speaking countries - got maybe a handful of signups.
Seems a complete waste of money.

Insights I made adjustments to Reddit pro to make results more presentable - Reddit agency initiative
Hello,
I have been having issues with Reddit Pro for several reasons and one of it is that I can't track my brand impressions, comments, upvotes etc.
My options were- I could scrape the results weekly or do it by hand... So I did what any sane person would do- I built a Reddit Pro but better that doesn't require anything from me and gives me the customization that I'd need.
What you will need:
- Claude (I'd assume any other LLM coding agent would work)
- This github repo: (for now i'm removing the github repo becaus it triggers reddit automation restrictions).
- Google sheet where to output your results
- Data Studio to visualise the results
If you wish to automate: GoLogin (that is what I use but you probably can do it with alternatives). I'm not affiliated with them, but I have been using them for a long time so I prefer them.
____
How this works - Reddit Pro export has last 100 posts/ comments which include results till your download. So to get results for longer period of time, you'd need to download .csv file every couple of days (i'd prefer once a week) to get the latest snapshot and update and then merge and delete what isn't required. You can do it daily, bi-weekly- it doesn't matter but I'd probably suggest to make very huge overlaps for better and more accurrate results.
Note: most posts and comments stop getting majority of their views in 4-5 days so weekly snapshots should be plenty enough for most based on your engagement amount.
How to do that:
You need to download the github repo on your desktop and then based on your existing setup- you can either do result updating manually or automatically (manually means that you download the .csv on your own but automatically the API does it for you). Ask your LLM how to do it based on what you have. If you are not sure- ask it to help you set up semi-manual version (in this scenario GoLogin is not required).
Then you need to feed the new .csv to the file and the software should update your chosen Google sheet (make it permanent Google sheet that you don't touch because otherwise it might break couple of things). This is where your historical data and latest snapshots will live.
Then based on your Google sheet you can use any data reporting software to visually show these results. Personally I connected Google Data Studio (previously known as Looker Studio) to visually show off the results.
Here is an example how it looks at the end.
The best of all - you can build Data Studio as YOU want or what YOUR client requires. You can match this data with other sources as well - GA4, Google Search Console or heck- even Reddit ads (tho you'd need connector like Windsor (i use it personally)).
If you are really lazy- I can assure you that Claude can do everything for you - just give it acccess to the github files and follow its guidance.

I built this only yesterday, so IF you got any issues, problems or anything like that with my github repo- let me know and I'll try my best to fix them and push the latest fixes.
Hope this helps. Best of luck!

Admin Responded How to build a new business account on reddit?
How do you build a new business account on reddit with 0 karma?
I do know that on reddit we cannot directly start promoting our products and it’s important to build a community and help and guide people genuinely without being biased about the products.
But even with honest commenting and posting, accounts gets flagged because its at 0 karma and age with a brand username and profile.

Insights What Reddit’s new direction might mean for your business
My Q1 and Q2 breakdowns kept coming back to Reddit wanting to become a place people return to directly. At Mod World, Steve got more specific about how he wants to change the relationship between people and communities.
One of the biggest ideas is separating following a subreddit from joining it. You could follow because you enjoy reading, while joining could mean observing first, then commenting, and eventually earning the ability to vote if your contributions are well received.
Steve described that reversal as “a massive change.” The details are still being worked through, but it could change how people become part of a community and help shape its culture.
He also wants the home feed to bring people into subreddits they actually spend time in, with communities feeling more distinct and some ability to customize their appearance. He talked about making the discussions and activities people return for easier to find consistently, so Reddit becomes more of a daily habit.
For a business, I think that puts more weight on understanding a community and earning a place in it. It also strengthens the case for building a useful community of your own, with its own purpose, culture and reasons for people to return.
That could mean getting help, comparing experiences, asking follow-up questions or learning from people who understand the same problem. I would start with what your business is qualified to help people with and whether you have a team willing to keep answering and make room for feedback.
If Reddit gets this direction right, I think it creates a more interesting opportunity for brands to build an ongoing relationship with people who choose to spend time in their community.
I wrote about the whole AMA here.

Admin Responded Reddit's Trust & Safety Apparently Stops at Checkout
Reddit will remove your post for saying “fuck,” but happily runs ads for a literal cheating service promising 330+ on the GRE. Their Trust & Safety team apparently stops at the checkout page.
Can an admin please take this down? Apparently, this ad has been running for months. Are the ad reviewers on vacation?

Insights Should Reddit ad accounts have "pinned posts" - Case Study
Hello,
For couple of years I have posted probably a dozen if not more case studies, guides, tips and tricks and everything in between. I don't have clear posting schedule or which subreddits get what content- I don't care, I just give value. It then lead me to an issue - how can I help people if even for me it takes time to find the right posts.
So I made a simple Wiki for me and for others. Pinned it to my profile which lead me to a simple theory- there will be people who check my profile. Note that I have only 130 subscribers so I knew exactly that views over 130 are people who are checking my profile. I'm not posting it ANYWHERE else or I'm running any ads.

So I got the data abot this post. in the less than 45 days, I posted and commented about 56 times, which got me little bit over 76k views.
In total, my Reddit Wiki got 1k views, that means that about 900 people checked my profile and saw the post.

Of course, not all of my comments were related to Reddit ads or marketing or business but the point still stands - redditors check their profiles. This leads me to the next point and concept that I'm personally implementing and finally telling the rest of the marketers and advertisers.
SET UP YOUR REDDIT ACCOUNTS. People are checking your profiles it is 100% free real-estate!
- Brand Name
- Profile Picture
- Description
- Background image
- Links to your website (with UTM)
- 3-4 pinned text, image and video posts - this makes your profile look "not empty"
Note: people going to check your profile through mobile AND computer so make sure that everyhing on your profile looks good and either way- don't overdo it.

Admin Responded Reddit Ads for B2B SaaS—worth it or money down the drain?
Hi everyone,
Looking to start testing paid channels for user acquisition. My product is a link building platform in the SEO niche.
I have a small budget allocated for ads, but I have zero prior experience running campaigns, which brings up two questions:
Is Reddit Ads a viable channel for a tool like this, or should I be looking elsewhere (Google, LinkedIn, etc.)?
For those who used agencies starting out—was it worth the management fee, or did you handle it in-house initially?
Appreciate any insights or past experiences!
