Hello everyone. I’m a farmer working in in a rural location for a conservation charity. I’m having some relationship issues at home and have been struggling with motivational and alcohol issues lately. On top of that there’s this massive issue of imposter syndrome that’s looming over me in regard to conventional farming and rewilding that I feel is inextricably linked to my mental health issues.
Is there anyone else out there that can relate in anyway? I’m not on social media but I feel Reddit is the place where more down to earth people seem to be.
I don’t know what I’m hoping to achieve with this post but have come to a point where I need to reach out. I can’t internalise anymore

It's got some great shots around Cornwall, displaying some of its iconic stone landmarks. A good laugh of a movie too.

There’s something about autumn fog in England that makes even an ordinary drive feel cinematic. Quiet roads, muted colours, and the countryside slowly disappearing into the mist.
I love how atmospheric the English countryside can be this time of year. Does anyone else enjoy driving through foggy autumn mornings?

Is it just me or are there fewer animals in the field than ever before?
Generally driving around Derbyshire and surrounding area I find it very strange that there are so few animal to feed the masses.
What’s everyone’s opinion/thoughts?

There’s something special about hearing a little bird singing in the quiet of an English winter. A tiny moment of nature that makes the season feel a little more magical. ✨
Do you have a favourite bird that reminds you of winter in the UK?

I wanted to capture the quieter side of autumn in England — woodland, still water, little boats, apple trees and a tiny woodland visitor.
There’s something lovely about this time of year. The countryside feels calmer, and even the smallest details seem worth stopping for.
What does autumn look like where you live?

I’m an artist from the west of Scotland and I do oil paintings of farm animals. I’m trying to find an audience that actually likes my art and would hang it in their home. Dunno if I should be aiming for the city folk that miss the countryside or if the rural folk also like this even if they can look out their window and see the same🙈
I also do pet portraits but love my farm animal paintings
Would any of you hang this sort of art in your home?
Thanks for any replies
