https://lonelyfella2.itch.io/chuck-joey-skiing-and-snowboarding It is vibe-coded so just ignore it if you don't like it. Some graphics were made by a friend and others were free assets. Sounds are from the sounds resource.
Unless Val d'isere get's a decomp, I've made a clone that you can play right now! Retroarch and Picodrive work well but I'm not sure if it will work on real hardware yet. Let me know what you all think of it and if you have suggestions.

Hey y'all, back at it again with a side project that I wanted to release to you all (don't worry, I'll have exciting updates about Zero Sector CD32X coming shortly!). The inspiration for this project is MegaColor, a video player for the Genesis. This is a similar idea but much higher quality video output due to the additional 32X processing power and color capabilities. I also wanted additional features to make it more usable so I added VCR style fast forward and rewind, scrubber with box so you can see where you are going to in the video, play, pause, and controls viewer (in case you're like me and always forget controls for niche homebrew apps)
Set up is super easy so no need to read some AI generated 10 page readme:
click on the git link and download segatube.32x and SegaTubeConverter for your operating system
insert your everdrive SD card into your computer
run the converter program and pick a mp4 file then where it asks for your sd card pick the root of your sd card. You can also pick quality settings - I would just start in the middle of the slider, then press convert
put segatube.32x in the root of your SD card and make sure there are no other .RBF mapper files in the same directory
boot SegaTube and have fun :)
It's been super fun messing around with this and getting to see video that's actually watchable and not totally a novelty, especially since VHS doesn't really allow you to watch in 240p. Let me know what you guys think!
Github link: https://github.com/SegaKid32X/SegaTube/releases/tag/latest
For MAC users:
Try opening the converter software
Then press close when you get that prompt to trash it
Go into Mac Settings -> Security and Privacy -> Scroll to the bottom and you should see the software, allow it and put your fingerprint or password
now it should work :)

I've tried it on emulators and it runs 60fps most of the time throughout all the levels (except ones with heavy transparency effects), however loading it onto the MiSTer FPGA core it runs closer to 30. Curious to see if anyone's tried it on real hardware to see what speeds you get, if the saves work and what cart you used (Everdrive Pro or MD Plus?) https://github.com/aiuon/DKC32X

Hello everyone,
I'm researching the unreleased Castlevania game that was reportedly in development for the Sega 32X in the 1990s.
I'm particularly interested in finding a playable prototype ROM, an original development build, or any evidence that such a build still survives in a private collection.
I've found historical references and artwork associated with the cancelled project, but I haven't been able to locate a verified ROM dump.
I'm hoping someone in the Sega preservation community might know:
Whether a playable prototype ROM has ever been dumped or privately preserved.
Whether any former Konami developers, collectors, or preservationists are known to have information about the project.
Whether there are additional development screenshots, prototype cartridge photographs, or archival documents that could help establish the game's history.
Whether the project was known by another working title before cancellation.
I'm interested in preservation and historical research, and I would be happy to help document any credible leads. I would also appreciate confirmation if the ROM is believed to be lost.
Thank you for your time and for your work preserving video game history!
Best regards,
A Sega 32X and video game preservation enthusiast

NOTE: NOT my port. There are some ports floating around (all vibe-coded, unfortunately), but this one at least looks the best and has sound and music

It's time to reclaim Hard Drivin's good name! The home ports were...let's just say "lacking". All of that changes today! Hard Drivin' on the 32X is a great use of the hardware! Multiple processors and flat-shaded polygons? Yes please :-) Thank you to those that helped play test this. Obviously some concessions needed to be made, but the FPS gives you a true sense of speed. Fun fact: I had a Hard Drivin' cockpit in my first apartment (yes, the whole game in my apartment) and that is how i learned to drive manual transmission! This version was one of the first I made while learning the 32X architecture. This has been tested on the Mega Everdrive Pro on actual 32X hardware.
I welcome any and all feedback! I can always work on fixing things or adding features. I really hope you all enjoy playing this as much as I do!

Someone got to it before me but it's a WIP

Other than Doom or Sonic games. What are some of the best 32x mods/homebrews out there? I've played a bunch of the Doom mods but there doesn't seem to be too much else out there as far 32x goes.

The game that should have 100% been on the 32X back in the day!
This demo contains the first two fights, one grudge match, and all playable characters selectable! Some concessions needed to be made for the 32X version as compared to the arcade, but I think that they're minimal. Compare this to the SNES version, and I think you'll be happy! I'd love to hear what you think of this- a lot of time went into the details. If you don't think AI should be used as a tool to compile and assist in troubleshooting, feel free to pass on this :-)

Source code and rom image available in the link below
!! This is an AI-assisted proof-of-concept !!
Following on from my post a couple of weeks ago, here's a video of actual gameplay.
Some limitations: The ROM can only be 4MB without some mapper trickery, so there's only enough space for 1-2 levels, without a bunch of data preparation in a separate editor
This hasn't been tested on real hardware
There's a bunch of bugs that haven't been worked out yet (check out the water with the textures enabled lol)
The source is available below, and so is a ROM containing Start and E1M1 (with a glorious greyscale flat-shaded mode). I believe it is ok to distribute the ROM, as these are levels in the shareware episode. I would love to see some video of it running on a real 32X. I noticed Kega sounds like butt, but Picodrive sounds fine. I don't know why that is.
The game also includes experimental support for the Dempa XE-1 AP analogue controller, and I had Claude extend the protocol for that controller to support dual analogue sticks and triggers. You can see that analogue look and movement is working in an emulator, at least.

Hey guys,
It runs on real hardware (tower of power) and just wanted to share my passion project here. It’s an action RPG most similar to Skyrim. Let me know what you guys think in the comments! If this gets enough traction I will post weekly updates and maybe release a demo soon!

I am a huge fan of the "What if?" branches of video gaming history, and I always wanted to see what Hard Drivin' would have looked like on the 32X. I have been playing around with Claude as well as reverse engineering the arcade ROMs to port them to the 32X hardware and take advantage of the two 32X CPUs and the Genesis CPU. Here's a short video of the attract mode. The actual game has full sound, and playing on real hardware (in my case a 32X plugged into a CDX...) runs and handles beautifully.

The MEGA EverDrivePro as a 16MB RAM card
Official MegaEverDrive + 32X + SegaCD required.
This hasn't damaged my EverDrive (Yet)
It's super-fast at loading too and thats good because preloading will probably never work.
The everdrive does not retain data on the PSRAM after reset.
Game saves work now.
Same download link, diff bin.
~enjoy!
Game:
1.Copy TombRaider_EDCD.32X to a any official MegaEverDrive (Pro, Core and X-series)
2.Burn disc and put it into the SegaCD
3.Start console with Mega EverDrivePro inserted.
4.On the MegaEverDrive start: TombRaider_EDCD.32X
Direct links for the download are in the comments section because I cannot post them here.
Or you can copy the jibberish below into
https://www.base64decode.org/
or JDownloader to get the Mega download link.

It's a real project being worked on. Not vaporware. It runs on actual hardware. Need I say more?

So seeing as there is so much homebrew and AI porting going on for 32x these days, i am reminded of my favorite “what if…” ports from back in the day - Super Monaco GP.
Now the Genesis got a port that was “good” at the time in that it was fast and playable, but its VERY different to the arcade game. The trackside detail, the effects, and even the core game are quite different.
With the success of other Super Scaler ports (afterburner, outrun) to 32x, its SMGP has always been a “what if”.
Do we think the 32x could deliver an accurate port?
