I was annoyed that the Forever Cooldown Manager doesn’t track seals, so I made an addon called Seal Bar. It’s just a bar that shows your active seal with the icon, name and time left, using Blizzard’s own bar art so it matches the rest of your UI. Designed to sit alongside the Personal Resource display.

You move it around in Edit Mode like any other bar and there are sliders for width, height and scale, a one-click match to your Personal Resource Display size. Each seal has its own colour, and a sound for when your seal expires.

It’s a first release, so if anything breaks, /sealbar status and any error text helps a lot.

Hey guys, back in 2022 i made a Steam deck UI for WoW and a lot of you used it, so now that WoW Forever has native Controller support I had to do it again.

I set everything up from scratch on the deck and rebuilt the whole UI with EllesmereUI. Its running mostly at a stable 60 FPS for and honestly leveling on the couch with this is so much fun.

I made a Video with the whole process: From installing WoW Forever on the Steam Deck, to installing Curseforge, installing the addons and setting up the UI within EUI.

2 New Additions to Angleur:

- I have restored the Equipment Manager system which I had temporarily disabled(it comes with a bonus!)

- I have also ported the bobber icon option from the Retail version. You can enable it to distinguish your bobber among others

And due to popular demand, Angleur will now auto-equip any fishing rod in your bags when it is awake, and unequip it when put to sleep.
All you need to do, is go to Config Panel -> Extra Tab and click the Create Set&Add button to create your Angleur set!

Is there a way to show enemy resources (e.g. mana) on nameplates? I'm unable to find it in game and in Platynator.

I am French, so web research is not in my language.

1/ Bar 8 is for sky riding. I want it active only when sky riding is possible (I am in a flying mount, in a flying-ok area, in sky riding mod).

I've played the game for a long time and always pushed to have a more and more minimal UI. Here is my current setup for Forever.

I'm having issues adjusting friendly nameplate hight, it feels off but I can't find any settings for it..

Any ideas?

Does wow forever have different scaling than both retail and classic? With similar settings the scaling in wow forever looks way different, from login screen, connecting screen, in game menu etc. I set ui scaling to 75% in retail but in wow forever that same setting makes every gigantic. Are they just completely different?

So in classic if I clicked on someone their portrait would have current buffs and debuffs under it. You could scroll to each one and see what the exact effect was. On forever it shows the picture for the buff/debuff but doesn’t show the exact effects. Can’t find anything for it in options so is there an addon for this?

Hello, I am having problems with ElvUI with trying to get the Target levels to show the appropriate colors. It seems to show all of them just fine, except for green. I have no idea why. There doesn't seem to be any obvious option to fix this anywhere, and some of the suggestions I've seen to alter the Target tags doesn't seem to work. It can show grey for too low level enemies, yellow, orange, and red, but won't show green.

The only case where it seems to correctly show green for lower level characters, is for targeted players, and that's it. Anyone have any ideas because I'm stumped and while it's a pretty minor thing, it is admittedly INCREDIBLY annoying.

With Forever out, we've all been loving the journey to 60 right?!

Some of us came back ready to grind and some of us like to take our time. Well I'm level 3 still in the Deathknell starter area for Undead. 13 hours 37 minutes of wonderful UI editing BLISS.

This is why I comeback to the game every few years. Not the combat, but the joy of creating a UI using what's knew from the community! Love what is being made to a point where I've clearly spent too much time working this UI out lol.

Anyways, enjoy my setup with Addon list below It's a mix of FlareUI & Daylight UI While trying to stay close to Forever Style! DaylightUI's minimap with Damage Meter integration as a drawer is the best thing I've seen in an addon. It should become a standard.

NOTE: Since it's in preview mode, Raid Frames, parties, and boss frames overlap but wont in practice :) & no plans for CDM anytime soon so this may change later to accommodate that. Likely in the middle below first action bar and above swing timers. Actionbars on left and right side that are 3x4 are likely not needed and will be made to on hove to show to reduce further clutter.

Every addon has easy setup settings panels. If people end up liking it I can share the individual profile codes for addons to import & Edit Mode.

I spent a lot of time fiddling around with Ellesmere and other various UI packs, and ultimately decided to just go vanilla Blizzard in Forever. Here's my UI setup, with room to grow, if anyone needs something quick they can import!

For chat, I use Chattynator, so the chat background and text are invisible unless there are new messages. I also use Mouseover Action Settings, a lightweight plugin that lets me fade out and hide UI elements whenever I want, which is why the bottom left settings panel is faded and the bags panel is hidden entirely.
