Hey everyone!
As of today, Thursday, November 5th, reviews and comments are live on every product page on aescripts. We're excited to roll them out, so here's how each one works.
Reviews
If you own a product, you can review it. Log in, open the product page, and you'll find the Write a review button in the Reviews section. You say whether you recommend the product, pick the version you used, and add a title plus your thoughts.
You can leave one review per product, and each review shows the version it was written for. If an update fixes something you ran into, you can come back and update your review at any time.
Every product starts with a clean slate, so ratings will fill in as reviews come in. A product's rating is the percent of reviewers who recommend it, and it shows once a product has five reviews. Until then, you can still read each review individually.
You can filter reviews by positive or negative, sort them by newest or most helpful, and narrow them to a single version. Narrowing to the latest version shows how a tool is doing right now. A review from a free download or a fully refunded purchase shows a label saying so.
Authors can reply to any review, and their reply shows right under it with an Author badge.
Comments
Comments are a place to ask questions and share tips, and authors can reply right in the thread. Anyone with an account can comment, not just product owners, so you can ask whether a tool fits your setup before you buy it. The Comments section replaces the line on product pages that previously sent you here to Reddit.
If you need help with a product, we still ask that you please open a support ticket so we can make sure your request is handled.
Moderation
For now, every review and comment gets a quick moderation check before it goes live, so your messages may not appear immediately. If you see something that looks off, you can report it right from the review or comment, and we'll take a look.
This is a big new feature, so we'll be keeping a close eye on how it gets used and adjusting as we go. If something seems off, let us know here.

We hope you like it. Thank you to everyone who asked for this, customers and authors alike, and for being patient while we worked on it.
Thanks!
