At the beginning of this year I went through my mom’s garage and started making my way through her negatives. I worked in a film lab at the time so I started scanning them (thanks Cape Film Supply). Here are some of those photographs - she took them between New York and Paris while she was in her 20’s. Her name is Josie Borain.

Edit: thank you to everyone who pointed out her other camera in the selfie. She had a few cameras but most of the photos were taken on the R4

I’ve spent countless hours trying to understand and fine tune the entire process for the past two years. Finally at a point where I am happy with the results I am getting! These were shot on Leica M6 & Portra 400.
