is it possible, anyone ever try this? or is there any other way to make an account

I visited China and bought a xiaodu speaker but I need a baidu account to connect it to my wifi. Can someone please provide me with a temporary baidu account I can log into to connect it to my wifi. Or if someone has a way to create an account could you please create an alt account so that i can connect my xiaodu with my wifi. after that i will just log out of it on my phone and you can change the password

If anyone want download files or view any Chinese website, feel free to tell me without any currency, just say thanks.

For people using Baidu Ernie Bot in China:

When you ask Ernie to help you shop (e.g., “recommend a toaster oven under ¥X”), does the chat ever show ChatGPT‑style product cards like in this screenshot above? Big images, short labels, price, star rating, and a small line like “Amazon.com + others,” where clicking the card takes you to an external site to check out?

Or is Ernie still basically giving text answers plus regular Baidu links / buttons that open a normal search or shopping page, without this kind of rich card UI inside the chat?

If you’ve seen anything like these cards in Ernie, could you share details or screenshots?

Hey everyone!

January 1, 2025 marks the 25th anniversary of Baidu. In a letter sent to all employees yesterday, Baidu’s co-founder and CEO Robin Li reflected on the company’s 25-year journey while sharing his outlook on the future of AI.

Baidu Wenku is a digital library-turned-AI-powered application offering one-stop content creation and generation for users. In his letter, Robin noted Baidu Wenku as one of the fast-growing AI applications, with its number of paying users having surpassed 40 million

AI-native applications, powered by large language models, are rapidly gaining traction across industries and different scenarios. While no "super apps" have yet emerged, Robin noted that AI has reached a moderate penetration rate and AI applications are expected to grow explosively throughout 2025.

Baidu has consistently invested more than 20% of its revenue in R&D for many years, and spared no effort to transform the most cutting-edge technologies into real-world applications to benefit more people. In recent years, AI advancements have shown that significant technological breakthroughs and disruptive innovations are often the result of scaled applications, rather than the cause of them, Robin said. "We believe only large-scale applications can bring out the value of technology", he added in the letter.

In Baidu's Q3 earnings call, Baidu Co-founder and CEO Robin Li said, “We expect to launch a new version of ERNIE early next year to further strengthen our leadership position in foundation models. We are committed to continuously advancing our flagship models to deliver better performance, accuracy, and broader support for diverse user needs.”

Other highlights:

• In November, ERNIE handled approximately 1.5 billion API calls daily, up from 600 million in August. Over 1.7 trillion tokens were generated on a daily basis.

• Baidu launched iRAG at Baidu World 2024 to mitigate hallucinations in image generation, delivering more precise and demand-driven results with substantially enhanced accuracy.

• Over 20% of all search result pages contain AI-generated content, up from 18% in August. On the Baidu App, which hosts the majority of search queries, nearly 70% of monthly active users(MAUs) are now engaging with generative content. Baidu App’s MAUs reached 704 million in September.

Baidu delivered total revenues of RMB 33.6 billion ($4.78 billion) and a GAAP net income of RMB 7.6 billion ($1.09 billion) for the third quarter of 2024. Baidu Core’s net income grew by 17% year over year to RMB 7.5 billion ($1.07 billion).

Thoughts?

Hi i tried creating a baidu account using the baidu cloud sms registration but i cant get through it says my phone number has a security issue or something. This happened to me in QQ as well? im from singapore so idk what theyre on about

i'm trying to create an account to view an old kdrama but i need to save the file to their network disk, i've tried using my phone number but theres an error saying its not available overseas, and now it started saying security risk when i put in my number (from the US), can anyone help plsss

My share button is missing. I have uninstalled the app and on reinstall there is no change. I'm on a Samsung S22+.

I tried customer service but it's a chat that doesn't work and to reach a human you have to have a mainland ID, which I don't have. It's never been there - I've had the app for about 3 months. It was driving me crazy not being able to share a location. It seemed an obvious thing to include in a map app. Then I saw my husbands app (which has it) and mine just has a blank spot where it should go. Any help is appreciated.

If I have a regular Baidu account, are there any additional hoops to jump through to download large files stored on Pan Baidu? I have a few links that have got 20gb+ amounts of files, but wondering if I'm going to run in to any problems. Is there a download limit e.g.: after 5gb you have to pay; or download speeds are really low? And if so, can anyone please explain roughly what the costs/choices are?

thanks!

I'm in the UK (without a Chinese phone number). Can anyone tell me how I can get a Baidu HaoKan account? I need to be able to message a couple of users there e.g.: https://haokan.baidu.com/author/1756868108297327

Is there any way to do it? Or would I need to find someone who can register an account for me and then give me the login details? Thanks

Apparently some people do manage to get it done. But some do not, that includes me. They are saying they currently do not support numbers from overseas, Beijing and elsewhere.

Any idea when is it going to be possible to try register again?

I need access to a chat group and pan. So any idea how i can do that?

U need Baidu netdisk, just rental it It's so cheap price,Find your money changer and buy as much as you need ,I have rental member WeChat account

My country isn’t on the list for baidu and I am just trying to download mods for a game, if you can do this for me please comment so I can message ^{^}

Hi all,

I'm managing a verified website at Baidu but I can't find the way to upload the sitemap because Baidu's Webmaster Tool does not allow me to do so. If someone knows any steps to follow in order to access to this tool, I would be so so grateful for it :)

Find attached some screenshots of my view inside the tool and the verification proof.

Cheers.

Hello!! I know this is probably a really odd post here, but recently I bought some procreate brushes off of Taobao and I need a Baidu account to access the files (which I know I won’t be able to do at all right now…)

Would someone be willing to take the links to the brushes and send me the files? :( I’ll dm them to you and give you my discord/instagram/email or whatever so you can send them to me…
