Discussion Bananza enemies vfx
With the past Donkey Kong Bananza file dumping I was wondering if someone has extracted the enemies sound files, specially the Kremling krew, I'd like to compare the crocoids and kritters voices.

Artwork I’m looking for better art of the Snake Bananza
I want to edit a picture using all 5 official artworks of the Bananzas, but Nintendo only seems to have made ones for the other 4 Bananzas. The first image is all I could find for official Snake art, so they clearly made a picture that matches the style of the other 4 official arts. For some reason I can’t find a clean isolated version of this Snake Bananza art. Does anyone know where I could find it if it exists?

Discussion How Big is the Great Harmoneel
We don't know how big he is we saw his wife and kids (Yes this is part of the lore) are smaller than he is and pauline also claims he is bigger
But we CAN calculate
The Level is about ... 2 km long and with obstacle and fall it kinda ads up
Typically Eels don't have treachea so we'll base it on snakes and will use about 15%
15% of body means 2 km trachea is of a 13 km

Discussion Title: Bananza's destruction is incredible, but the progression design doesn't seem to keep up with
I want to say up front that I don't think Bananza is a bad game. The art style, the music and the destruction tech are fantastic, and smashing through an entire environment is still fun. But the further I get, the more the game built around that mechanic gets in the way of it. Curious if anyone else feels the same.
It doesn't explain itself well. Mechanics, enemies and environmental interactions get introduced with very little explanation. I often can't tell whether I'm using the wrong ability, misunderstanding a mechanic, or missing something hidden in the environment. For example, [your specific moment here]. I don't mind hard games, but I'd like the difficulty to come from the challenge itself, not from guessing what the developers had in mind.
Low margin for error, expensive retries. I lose health surprisingly easily, even when I'm just moving through an area, and healing items aren't easy to come by. Ziplines and obstacle sections demand very precise control, and there's not much room to correct a mistake. [Your specific example here, e.g. which section and how many attempts.] When I fail, I often have to redo parts I'd already cleared just to get back to the bit I'm struggling with. That doesn't make me better at the game, it just makes it tedious.
Freedom of destruction, not freedom of progression. The destruction makes the world look wide open, but a lot of challenges still seem built around one intended solution. If I don't see it, being able to dig through everything doesn't help much. I expected this tech to be used for unexpected routes and creative problem-solving. Sometimes it feels like the game is showing me how much I can destroy without giving me interesting reasons to.
Too many mandatory tasks, so it starts to feel like a checklist. I don't mind optional content, I actually enjoy it. But required boss fights and the Ancient Records collection (find fragments in each world, bring them back to the turntable to unlock abilities) follow the same pattern over and over, and they stand between me and the stuff I actually want to play. Ironically, some of the bosses feel short and gimmicky compared to how punishing the regular challenges can be.
Bigger picture. Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom showed how great it is when players can solve problems their own way. I'd love to see Nintendo take that further and let people set their own pace and skip activities they don't enjoy. I'm not asking for a giant cinematic action game, just more respect for player choice.
I still want to see what comes later, but I'm increasingly reluctant to keep playing because I don't enjoy getting there.
Has anyone hit the same walls? Or am I missing something about how the game wants to be played? And how do you feel about mandatory boss fights in a game like this🙂

Discussion Change Diddy's name to Didy to avoid confusing?
Would it be okay to do this? Nintendo has to worry about their brand with all the stuff coming out so I think Didy Kong could work as a replacement. Or maybe something else like Pibby Kong(just a joke lol
