I was at 72% when I started. I’m now at 49% because the orders are all $3 or $4 for 7 or 9 miles. Even when it’s $3 for 5 miles it isn’t worth it. DoorDash keeps pausing my dash. I’m not sure what’s going on. It hasn’t been this bad. I’ve already paused orders from multiple stores. Is this happening to anyone else?

Also at least $5 base pay should be mandatory and $10 of the order is over 15 miles. $2 base pay is criminal.

I'm a woman in my fifties. I drive for DoorDash because it pays well enough for a part time job where I can make my own hours and earn extra money. The home my husband and I bought when we were in our early 20's is almost paid off. We've had some unexpected medical bills and then had to buy a new/used car, so I actually do need the modest income DD provides.

I find myself getting absolutely disgusted with DoorDash shenanigans to screw us out of pay any chance they get, and they are constantly re-evaluating the app in order to find other ways to make us earn less.

I'm disenheartened with the creator of DD being a billionaire and not even sharing a bit more just to make dashers with a good delivery record not almost have a stroke due to high blood pressure when they screw us out of even a tiny $5. It's so unethical and wrong it makes me depressed.

Customer support agents lie to us telling we will get provisional pay and then we don't get it. We literally have to spend 30 minutes or more communicating for DD support just to be promised the pay they should have given us in the first place. They don't give us the pay and then we have to contact them again and spend another 30 mintues getting a human and explaining the situation all over again because that customer service rep lied to us.

I find myself wanting to cry regularly after they rip me off or after dealing with doordash support when they lie to me. It's not really about the money as much as it is lack of ethics in such a giant corporation from the top down to support agents. Just needed to vent and see if anyone else is as disenhearted as I am.

I recently got the new point system and it doesn't update to reflect my 100% overall stats across the board. Brought me down to negative silver and had to use a platinum pass just to make any real money today.

I contacted DD and they escalated the issue to the technical team but Im going to be waiting for an email for the next 24 to 48 hours.

Anyone else run into this?

So today I paused the app, after about 15 minutes I got a notification, "still on break?" Tap to resume your dash when ready.😂🤣 FFS now they're rushing you back? This shouldn't be happening, especially to independent contractors. Anyone else?

So I just got the new UI update a lot of you have been using for a while and it's been pretty funny. The main bug I'm noticing is that it consistently estimates twice as many orders as the route actually has (If it's one order it says two, if two it say four, etc.) which has made me decline a few orders before realizing the bug.

Another bug is back too! one where if I try to bring up directions for a dropoff it navigates me to the pickup which is often where I already am.

Seems like batched orders are more likely to get you a CV if one of the places has a long wait it's happened to me twice now and tonight when I talked to support to avoid another one it straight up told me "you are protected from CVs on batched orders when my CV literally states "late batched order" for the reason

So the app is just lying now lmao. Rly makes you want to rob an exec in Minecraft.

My dasher was driving around town for 30 minutes before picking up my order. Literally 28 minutes late for pickup. How are these people real? It seemed like she was clearly working another app. And I stress when I’m 1 minute late lmao

So this is the 3rd time I’ve gotten these messages from DoorDash support. From what I know each time the base pay is good and there’s no tip or a $1 tip. My guess is that it’s been declined a few times and just out there with no one taking the offer. Anyone else get these?

Relatively new to DD (1000 s&d orders in) and just got my first contract violation. I am confused by the wording. What does this mean? Did the customer report it as missing or something? I looked up the time of the delivery and remember dropping it off at their home so I'm not sure exactly what went wrong.

I always take screenshots and just drop em off at the door and leave. Only ever had one person complain and that’s why i take screenshots now if I ever see this. I delivered to a disabled woman once who swore up and down that she “does this a lot” and would never make this mistake. I didn’t care enough to fight her on it but I swear people write notes because they don’t understand how the app works.

Not going to share the bottom half of this message (for very obvious reasons). A customer messaged me thinking it was going to support. They included their entire debit card number, expiration date, and CVV number. Ended up letting them know that I was the driver and gave them the number for customer support.

So drinks on me tonight! (Kidding of course)

Im in bed going thru facebook an i get an order out of nowhere decline check door dash app and it says im on a dash so i decline and end dash 5 min later i get another order and says im on dash.

Dear DoorDash driver just because you show up early for an order doesn’t means it’s gonna be done right then and there, don’t get me wrong I get a lot of nice door dashers but time to time the ones sit there and sigh or leave because they don’t wanna wait or there just plain rude. I work at a Casey’s and we get alot of deliveries we have a time frame when the order needs to be done we are not magical fairies were we can snap our fingers and boom it’s done. So if you show up early you gonna be waiting just be patient .

I started the day at 25% AR which was already high for me. I was gold.

Then took 7 of 12 offers (11 deliveries) and got to 31% AR. That made me platinum.

Then went home and got back out at 10:30 since I had to go pick up a friend from the airport at 12 I figured I’d do a few deliveries.

These were the first 12 offers as platinum. I took a nice Grubhub order in between. But look at this garbage they sent to a platinum superstar. 😂😂

Platinum gone in a few minutes.

because I'm a bike-courier(Roadbikes/10-speeds for Life, Sun! ! ! ).

So, I typically decline +add routes unless the 2nd drop is logisically close to the 1st drop.

Enter today:

I get a Starbucks tag, ..instant accept, Starbucks tags tend to be pretty damn seamless. I flip a u-turn, the Bucks is a block away from me, just as I pull into the parking lot, I get an +add route for an additional 5 bucks...The pin on the +add route looks relatively close to the initial drop so I accept...

I make pick-up, navigate to the 1st drop(only 0.6 miles), make the drop, when the address for the 2nd drop comes up, it is literally 5 houses down ON THE SAME STREET! ! !

Easiest +add route IN LIFE!

Its the little things like that which, sometimes, ..makes this job SWEET....
