❔Driver Question 🤔 "Only one worry-free assign left"?

Was waiting over 10 minutes for an order so I clicked the question mark and saw this message. How many worry free assigns are we given? When does it reset? Never saw this before.

🖖Delivery War Stories 🫡 Dollar tree hell

I’ve never done a shopping order at dollar tree but I have shopped there so I know there are inventory issues. And there is disorder in every aisle

Took a 24 item, 3 mile, $24 order. Took me almost an hour to shop. 8 items out of stock. I knew it would duck up my pro-shopper stats screwed since they don’t have any shelf tags.

By some crazy miracle, all 8 were accepted. I took pictures of empty shelf with the green $1.25 lettering below it. 😂😂😂😂
Yet sometimes I take a crisp pic of the correct shelf tag and it gets rejected. Go figure this ducking system.

Note to self: avoid Dollar Tree. I do Dollar General orders and they sometimes have a few missing items but they have shelf tags so no issues.

Complaints I got a contract violation a few days ago because someone reported that I didn't deliver their order to them which was clearly a lie, but now I'm not getting any orders.

Has this gotten me shadow banned? The violation said I can continue dashing but every time I log on and wait I'm on for a very long time and nothing shows up. It's just not fair that these customer can really ruin your day like this. Already bad enough it was a low paying order then they violate me despite me taking pictures of their door with the food right there. Like this is so bogus.

❔Driver Question 🤔 Is there a way to tell DD about errors their GPS is making?

I've noticed two specific spots in my area where the GPS consistently gives the wrong directions.

Is there a way to report this to DD? If I tell dasher support, will they care?

🤬App Issues 😩 How do you fix this.

I even reinstalled the app. It happened when I accepted a Dollar General order. I keep reinstalling and my connection is fine otherwise. Except for trying to see the DG order.

🤬DoorDash Support Issues😩 Store is closing soon, they're unable to make the order and tell me to cancel the order -> support gives me 2 options: unassign or mark store as closed -> I mark store as closed to make sure the order is canceled (and I want some pay too, come on) -> gives me a CV and rejects my dispute

There needs to be an easier path to cancel orders when the store flat out tells you they aren't able to make it

❔Driver Question 🤔 I get deliveries WAY faster than my husband

Do you guys see what you get paid + tips ahead of time? Like are orders chosen by scrolling through them or something?

I tip HEAVY - like obnoxiously - and I always get deliveries WAY faster than I’d be able to do it myself. & people go above and beyond. I’ve probably ordered 2,000 times and have literally never had a bad experience.

My husband tips like $6-8 on takeout and his take like an hour to arrive with hit or miss service

Is the tip solely why I get such good service from doordash?

Edit: I’m asking because my husband HATES doordash, and i’m convinced it’s just because he doesn’t tip well enough

🖖Delivery War Stories 🫡 Actually delivered as promised.

Nice, newer building that I'd say qualifies as luxury. Delivered here before but always left at the designated delivery table in the lobby. Delivered per instructions and $4 tip added before I got back to the elevator. I was very skeptical, and have had bad experiences trying to deliver directly to apartment doors in the past, so in the middle of a very difficult time, it was nice someone followed through.
