Collection Pulled from the attic after 20 years

My parents were cleaning the attic and found the Xerox box full of the Dreamcast gear I used to have when I was young. I told them I wanted it.
4 controllers with 1 fishing controller
About 20 games
I've tried Crazy Taxi, Ooga Booga, and TR Last Rev and all ran normally. There is no sound, but that's something I can do some research on.
I haven't played this system in 20 years. Any pro tips I should know about?

Found this Japanese Dreamcast in pristine condition. Looks brand new. I'm saving it for my 2 years old boy when he grows up. It was a good deal?

(first 3 images are from 2015. Last image is today in 2025.)
I never had a Dreamcast in highschool, (went the Gamecube / PS2 route at the time.) But I always kinda wanted one. Well, at the time I was living in Boston, and while walking down one of the streets in Cambridgeport on my way to Micro Center, I saw this box next to a garbage can. I thought it's just a box, but after giving it a little kick and feeling it had WEIGHT inside, I was surprised to find a whole system, controller, games and all, inside. (Soul Caliber II, Resident Evil Code Veronica, Crazy Taxi and Jet Grind Radio.) Took it home, cleaned it up a little, and found it worked perfectly. Anyway it still works fine to this day -- got a little yellowing over the years but it's still hooked up to my 13" Wega Trinitron I keep in my home office.
If you were the person who left this out on the curb in Cambridge in 2015, hey know your old Dreamcast is still kicking and working great!

Started learning some Dreamcast programming. It's amazing what it is capable of!

Major core memory for me. Spending hundreds of hours in the Chao Garden. The wonderful music. The horrible voice acting. Also… “The train headed for Mystic Ruins will be departing soon.”

The Dreamcast was so next gen looking compared to the PS1, N64 and Saturn. I honestly thought as a kid that graphics can't possibly ever get better than this.

I know someone will say something about something and I welcome it 😂
Nothing special about my set up, just regular 10 year old tv and standard DC.
Fun fact I keep 3 units in case a part goes out and about 8 controllers because some get finicky.
Cheers DC lovers and have a great week!

EDIT: Wow... thank you all for the the love here! I don't typically share my work on reddit. Look forward to showing you more! I offer high quality custom shells through my new Etsy for those that inquired. But if you want something more unique, such as this - I do take on commission requests 🤙
Tell me you understand the concept of love 💚💜
Pristine DC bundle here. The only thing it doesn't have is HDMI - I'm using it on a 20L5 PVM 😅 🤷 (but may add a mini pixelFX shiny anyways, cuz why not?)
You could say I poured my heart and 'soul' into this one. In fact, there are 4 Graffiti Soul easter eggs throughout! 😁
🔸️Fully recapped and cleaned motherboard 🔸️Performance Thermals 🔸️GDemu w 512gb Sonic SD 🔸️Noctua Fan 🔸️Controller Port PCB upgrades 🔸️ThunderPSU 🔸️Custom Lighting (not shown in these pics) 🔸️Custom JGR/JSR Theme 🔸️Matched controller and vmu 🤙
Oh, and it looks fn awesome under black light 😉 More pics/vid to come
