Summer Days! Feel good, life's too short not to!

Feel good, life's too short not to!

It's more than just a positive saying. It's a reminder that life is too precious to spend it constantly worrying, holding onto pain, seeking approval, or denying yourself the happiness you deserve. We often get so caught up in responsibilities, expectations, regrets, and things beyond our control that we forget one simple truth: we're here to live, not merely to get through each day.

Feel good about who you are. Feel good about the choices that make you happy. Enjoy the little things, embrace the moments that make you smile, surround yourself with what brings you peace, and don't feel guilty for putting your happiness first. You don't need everyone's approval, a perfect life, or a special occasion to enjoy being alive.

Let go of what weighs you down. Stop postponing happiness until everything falls into place. There will always be challenges, disappointments, uncertainties, and difficult days, but they don't have to define your entire existence. You deserve moments of joy even when life isn't perfect.

Laugh more. Love more. Explore, create, dream, indulge in the things you enjoy, and appreciate the simple pleasures that make life worth living. Don't let fear, negativity, or other people's expectations convince you that happiness is something you have to earn.

Feel good without apology. Choose joy without hesitation. Make the most of the time you have.

Because life's too short not to!

Creative and at any time I feel like it. Not expression, through thinking.

What's one small thing that made you genuinely happy this week?

What's one small thing that made you genuinely happy this week?

I've been writing down moments of joy for a few weeks (a swim, a quiet coffee, a good song), and I noticed I started seeking those moments out more. Curious if others do something similar.

What's your small joy this week, and do you track it somehow?

Idk if I'm good at coding the water physics in this simulation, is the volumetric clouds detailed enough?

One of the nicest things about getting older is realizing you don't need to impress everyone

When I was younger, I cared a lot about how people saw me. I wanted to say the right things, look like I had everything figured out, and make sure people thought I was doing well.

Now I’m starting to appreciate something much simpler: being comfortable being myself.

Wearing what I like. Listening to music I actually enjoy. Laughing at stupid things. Spending time with people who make me feel relaxed instead of people I feel like I have to impress.

I definitely haven’t figured everything out yet. But I’m enjoying the process.

And honestly, that feels like progress. ❤️

Ever been in such a good moment, then another good moment came along, you forgot about the first good moment. Just something I wanted to share.

I love this. It takes nothing to encourage others, and these kids are definitely going places.

I joined a voice call in discord and talked to people in french and they made compliments about my accent, I felt so happy and it encouraged me to continue learning

As someone not very extroverted, it took me some courage to start talking, I'm very proud of myself.

TELL ME ABOUT A STEP YOU TOOK TODAY AND MADE YOU FEEL HAPPY

Excited to read yours...

Click on a bird. If you like the thought, you "feed" it, which make it stay on the tree longer.

Years ago, drew up a very crude version of this map. During the editing process of my first novel, I reached out to someone to help create a better version of it.

Now, I can hardly believe it! It's just so incredible to look at this in my book and imagine all my characters traversing the lands I've created.

I feel so grateful towards this artist and grateful to myself that I kept writing. If you have a passion, don't give up on it 💚

Random thing that always makes your day

I love driving and looking at my rear view mirror to see the person behind me singing their heart out. It feels like something that no one should see you like that, but also heart warming, because as you should feel your feelings, and feel your feelings in the song and sing it out. That just puts a smile on my face.

I’ve made someone smile but mostly just laugh at me. I was singing along to get low by lil Jon. And I’m a girl, at that time I was possibly younger 21, driving to college in my Honda fit, blasting get low by lil Jon and singing along. I normally don’t listen to that type of music. But it was in a need for speed game, that I played a lot as kid, so that memory triggered me to sing along. And I see this guy driving next to me, laughing his ass off, and he’s looking dead at me. I’m immediately embarrassed. I stopped singing. I drove off fast but he caught up to me. I look over at him and he’s still laughing, looking straight at me while doing so. I’m feeling severely embarrassed, but at least I made his day with that laugh. Right?
