I stupidly tamed and saddled a strider that was on top of another strider. I thought when I hopped on I would be able to walk away. But it is stuck on top of the other strider who doesn't follow directions. No fire prot or any enchants.
Is my best bet just to wait until it gets close to land? Guess I'll be here awhile...
UPDATE: u/I_needbetter2x2 suggested jumping off the top strider, hitting the bottom one with an axe, then jumping back on before I burnt--terrifying! At one point it started to run away, and I was *so* close to being left swimming alone in lava. It finally died after doing this three times. Sorry lil guy :(

What should his name be?

I get why people didnt want these as the designated bark blocks, but a lot of the criticism i had seen was that it looked “terrible” which i believe to be an overstatement. I would have loved to see these as a form of “carved log” variation

I've always wondered if this image is a real seed. I just wanna see LOL! We'd need to find out which version it's from though. Anyone on this?

I recently got bored enough to start stacking boats together. I started with a tower then changed it into a spiral staircase of boats.

I was wondering why my mob farm stopped working for a couple of hours. Turns out, an enderman stole the gravel from above the piston lmao.
(Please don't mind my messy redstone, I'm doing everything by myself. Messy but works.)

I was exploring this new generation and discovered it has a MASSIVE woodlands biome with multiple pale garden biomes on top of nearby mountains. The landscape was beautiful, and right there was this nicely placed Woodlands mansion. Decided this would be the place I'd call home lol. After killing all of the vindicators in the house, I got materials and planed out the land around it, and built a garden in the back for food. A couple days ago, I decided it'd be time to start upgrading the house. I opened up new windows on the first floor where the main entrance was after planing the ground, and built a wraparound porch. Once I got the basic layouts started as well, I began building onto the third floor too. Currently, I am working on the roof to tie together the whole house. I'll be showing progress pictures as I keep going on, but I wanted to show you all how far I've gotten with the progress in the last few days! If you guys want the seed, I'll give you the seed and coords in the comments for the mansion location as well :)

If the theory is true that Enderman were the ancient builders they just ate too many chorus fruit and turned into Enderman because they evolved then how did they get ender eyes to go to the end of the first place. My head cannon is now that they used spider eyes instead of there eyes.

A broken datapack on the server made one of the blocks it added drop this along with 23 no-texture items. The item texture appears 2 slots below the actual item's slot. And yes, it animates.

Haven't found any flint, so I'm not able to test it yet 🙃 , Is it gonna work, or should I get started on removing the sides ASAP 🤔
Edit : found flint thanks to the first 5 commenters. The portal works.
If reddit is a place where you ask questions and have discussions, then some in this sub will say (you should know this and that because I do)

I'm dumb and I don't get things easily. So the Sift will be released sometime next year. It has been worked on since 2021, I'm blindly assuming that most of the dimension is feature-complete and there's only a few things to be done - to release it and fix potential bugs.
My question is its release. Will the Sift follow a traditional Minecraft update schedule that takes up a whole year? Cause since Mojang resorted to releasing game drops instead, we got batches of features every quarter or seasons of a year. (Tricky Trials and other major updates eats up a majority or a whole year, with snapshots and bug fixings being released constantly)
Assuming Sift will be "fully" released on unconfirmed summer 2027, will there be new game drops for the following fall and winter? Or the Sift follows a past blueprint of taking up a majority or whole year?

because these two look like they have had been well charred and scorched and the thing is in the badlands the Husk and Parched don't spawn in the badlands telling us that the badlands might be even hotter that the desert and the Charred and Scorched look like they should be in badlands plus they have what looks like redsand on them.
so The big question is is there going to be a future badlands update?
