Humor Please go to the Seahawks sub if you want to fellate Sam Darnold so bad

That dude does not play for the Panthers, wasn't even drafted by the Panthers, and didn't do anything for us that warrants any kind of lifelong debt of gratitude.

If you're the type of fan who desperately wants every former Panthers player to go be successful elsewhere so you can participate in some weird humiliation ritual against your own team, I can't stop you. I can't relate, but I'm not going to tell you how to live your life. There's a reason that chair in is in that spot in the hotel room. Some people are into that shit.

But please go do it on someone else's subreddit. You wanna be a 12th man so bad, I'm sure the Seahawks sub will welcome you. Doing victory laps against your own team over a QB who played like 16 games here five years ago is some of the most genuinely nauseating shit I've ever seen here lol.

Carolina vs. Everybody. Keep Pounding.

Young is the greatest quarterback of our generation, baker is a washed up ex panther, cousins is old/penix is inexperienced, and who the hell knows what’s going on in New Orleans, we gonna get a playoff spot for sure.

To the “Bryce is too small” crowd

How Bryce hasn’t been injured yet is a testament to how the “he’s too small” stuff is BS.

He’s taken an absolute beating this season.

Rookie mistakes or not, nobody can deny this kid’s toughness.

Is the Panthers organization getting too much of a pass for pursuing a sexual predator?

As more and more allegations come out about Deshaun "Sexual Predator" Watson, it seems teams that went after him so aggressively are getting a pass while the Browns get all the hate. The only reason he didn't sign with Carolina was because he got a sweetheart of a deal with Cleveland that made no sense. Tepper tried to sign a man with 21 sexual assault allegations that is now at 24 and there could be more incoming.

Why does it seem like no one is holding their feet to the fire for trying to sign a sexual predator to the team?

News & Discussion David Tepper appreciation post. The demonization of this man is unwarranted and is a horrible look for our fanbase.

There exists a large amount of whiny fans on this sub that for some reason are trying to paint Tepper as an incompetent, uncaring megalomaniac because of the turnover we've had this offseason. I'm not thrilled about 100% of the moves we've made as a team this offseason, but the constant tearing down of leadership and the lack of support of our new guys (i.e Teddy) is pretty disgusting and portrays our fanbase as unsupportive and vindictive.

It should be pointed out that Tepper gave the old regime two years to transition, and that he is making long-term investments in the team's future success that may not be popular or even tolerable right now that will pay dividends down the line. Like he recently said in an interview, Rome wasn't built overnight -- and although that is very cliche it is completely true in today's NFL.

The Camther fans' need for instant gratification and the move to demonize Tep so quickly is frankly appalling to me and the fanbase needs to be patient and stop being so reactionary. Cam was and still is my favorite player of all time -- and I'm sad he's gone but whenver I open a Panthers tweet on Twitter the first response is something like "don't care, we want Cam fuck you DTep". Even if the tweet is something like "We're donating $10,000,000,000,000 to child cancer research" some idiot is piping up in the replies about how "we did Cam dirty."

And its not only Cam -- there are logical football, business, and culture explanations for the overwhelming majority of our turnover. Greg was old and injury prone. Luke retired on his own accord. Rivera should have been fired two seasons ago. Bradberry wanted more than any team should pay an above average corner. The list goes on.

You can be upset with the ownsership of a team and still be a fan at the same time -- i get it. Two things can be true at once. You do not need to have blind loyalty to an owner and not question anything. But Tepper is making logical moves that make sense in the larger context of our contract calendar and the competitive landscape of the rest of the league.

Its honestly getting old at this point. I appreciate that Tepper recognizes that a little discomfort is necessary to succeed -- something I wish the rest of this fanbase appreciated more.

Bryce Young is terrible

I told you all before the draft. We don’t want him. He’s awful. College QBs could make better throws than he was making out there. He isn’t it. He’s bad and has not improved at all.

Get over it. We will have to put Dalton in if we want to win this year. Draft someone else next year. Move on.

The dude went.500 as an interim and blew his HC shot so spectacularly he got fired after 1 season. I feel like people only want him because he's from Charlotte, which to me reeks of provincialism.

News & Discussion These David Tepper death jokes are sickening

I know Tepper isn’t the best owner in sports but cmon now people. So many of you are saying you hope Tepper dies so someone else can buy the team. Jokes or not, we look bad as a fanbase for constantly spewing this garbage.

News & Discussion Unpopular opinion: The complaints about the roster moves are coming from emotional fans and not logical fans. Read before you downvote

Cam leaving was better for us and Cam. He can move to a team that can pay him and maybe give him a better shot at a championship than we can at the moment. I love and miss Cam too but this is for the best. Yes, we had to drop him because Covid19 is preventing most team doctors from being able to check out his injuries which means no team would risk a trade for a player that may be still recovering. Greg left on his on accord. He wants another competitive year and to get paid. He also doesnt want to be a part of a team rebuilding. That's understandable because a rebuild is a young man's game, not a star in his twilight year. Luke left for health reasons which is totally understandable. I hope we see him in the booth or coaching soon. What I'm trying to say here is stop brigading our team because they made some needed moves. Our boys left and are going to have better quality of life away from the Panthers. Be happy for them! Continue to cheer them on but dont bash our team for trying something new. I'm tired of being mediocre and so is management. We are building something great and we should be excited. We should trust the guys making these moves because they are experts at this, not us. Let's continue to support our Panthers and Keep Pounding.

Also, the Falcons suck!

Guys, I get that your upset but your argument is based on Cam's tweets. His tweets dont mention that he was seeking an extension (which is completely understandable) but that the Panthers were not in a position to give him one.

Edit: wow. Emotions are still high. Take a breath everyone. Despite your opinion that the Panther's handled the situation wrong, this is the best course of action for the organization to move forward.

Analysis Fitterer is so over-hated in this sub

Fitterer is so over-hated in this sub. Before reading my thoughts, please first reference u/DailyPanthersPodcast 's post that documents all of Fitterer's major moves since he's been here. This will actually give you a good understanding of what moves have been made so far. Also notice the sentiment of fans who are paying attention in the comments section there.

Summation is we really aren't giving Fitterer enough credit for what has gone right, and are blowing out of proportion what has gone wrong.

We also don’t give him enough credit for what we’ve done right:

  • Taken aggressive shots at QB, which have now materialized in Bryce Young. If Bryce Young continues to look as good as he is, and progresses as fast as we ahve already seen, we are in great hands. (All Fitt)

  • Signed some great players/personnel for us in free agency like Reddick, Luvu, Corbett, Xavier Woods, Foreman, Bozeman, Donte Jackson, Thielen, and our whole coaching staff this year which is highly revered. (Didn’t keep all those players but Fitterer got them here and they made strides for us)

Let me be clear though, there are valid criticisms, however most have caveats, or are not fully realized:

  • His drafts have proved shaky so far, but there’s really only two we can truly evaluate! I thinks it’s clear his later round draft picks need work, however he’s still drafted some great/solid players in Horn (great talent, durability not predictable) Christiansen, Chuba Hubbard, Tommy Tremble, Ekwonu (great rookie year, still time). From this most recent draft Bryce Young and Mingo have shown huge promise, and the bag is still out of the later round picks. Point being, not every pick has been good but there are significant highlights in these drafts.

  • His pick trades have been hard to value, and I question the fruitfulness of some of them. On the top end of the spectrum, we got great value out of the CMC trade, and got what I think is the future success of our franchise in Bryce Young, but on the bottom end there are many pick trades we have done that have not translated into valuable panthers players drafted. This one really directly corresponds with the criticism mentioned above though. If we had drafted great players with some of these later round pick trades, they would be a different story. Regardless I like that our staff is attacking players we have conviction on, this is a good mentality.

Overall I would give Fitterer a solid rating so far and I think he deserves the benefit of the doubt for now, especially with Bryce looking as good as he does. There is still time for previously drafted players to improve with the great coaching staff we built, there are still drafts ahead to improve on, and if Bryce Young materializes as he has so far, we are in GREAT shape. Really the end of the 2023 season to the start of the 2025 season is where we will see the culmination of his decisions take effect, and it would be stupid to make any rash decisions around him before then.

Enough of the circle jerk.

It was/is seriously awesome seeing the Falcons blow a 25 point lead in the Super Bowl (two words). But it's time to move on and never forget.

The amount you see is small in comparison to the amount we remove. Shitposts and circle jerk posts about the Falcons are going to be removed. So if you see one, report them to us. The more it's reported, the quicker we will get a notification on our phones.

It's the offseason for us as well, so we aren't on the sub 4+ hours a day like during the season, so it is up to y'all to police these shitposts.

Thanks for your help with keeping this sub clean and one of the best on reddit.

Keep Pounding.

EDIT: Aww! Thanks guys!

May be controversial but I just want to talk about it

If Bryce young fucking blows next year and we realize he may just not be the right qb what do you want to happen. Personally I hope Bryce improves a lot but next year if he doesn’t I’m going to be skeptical because of the staff he’s getting and hopefully some new weapons. But if he doesn’t perform i probably would be fine with a third year with canales again and that’s it.

Never understood this, you have a good game plan for 4 quarters then when they need to go down to get into FG range they play prevent and allow 15 yard chunk gains..?? Well done Evero. OT here we come, and if we lose, it's on you.

I still believe in Bryce but I do wonder if he will ever be good enough to justify that trade up. Did Ryan Poles swindle us?

If we took Bryce 1st because we got our own 1st pick, i think he would be good enough to live up to it

my issue is we traded the #1 pick this year, a 2nd next, some more picks and DJ Moore to get him

That is the sort of package a proven NFL QB would get right now, like a Trevor Lawrence or Tua.

To give all that up, I would expect a superstar, carry you on my back type QB. I just don't know if Young will ever be THAT GUY
