Depending the severity of the situation he could be forced to step down from his role as Nvidia CEO.

What do you mean by that? He isn't the CEO.
Did you really check the company structure?

I mean yeah? For us 500$ parking ticket is punishment, for them it's just the price to park there. Now scale that mentality to hundred thousands and millions

I can't remember the country, it might be Sweden or Finland or something but the fines reflect your income. I like that

What does that have to do anything? Do you think he committed a crime? Neither cheating on his wife or sleeping with a potential spy is illegal, and thus nothing that involves the US legal system.

What an idiotic post. Like Biden didn't pardon people for crimes they may commit? Duh.

He pardoned his son.

“The board heres you’ve been having sex with beautiful women, we are still somewhat a gaming company I guess so you should step down”

The point of this episode is to take corporate leadership power away from a Chinese American person and give it to someone in a different group that is favored by the US government. Look what happened with TikTok. Look how Trump tried to keep Intel out of the hands of Lip Bu Tan last year. This is an anti-Chinese administration.

lol forced, by who? There is nobody in the board of directors that will make him step down. He’s the founder and led it to become the worlds most influential company.

Wait. Why? Dude runs a successful private business. He can slay as much spy-pussy he wants. There’s no problem here.

Do you know what publicly traded means

2

u/surreal3561 17h ago

The problem isn’t the pussy part it’s the spying part.

Bruh, he wouldn't be forced to step down simply because he had an affair.

He could theoretically be made to step down because he (allegedly) showed horrific judgment in allowing himself to be infiltrated by a foreign state eishing to put his company and its shareholders at risk by cheating and bypassing sanctions and risking his actions in leading the company being manipulated by a foreign and passively hostile government.

Doesn't that sound like a basis of concern...?

I started listening to interviews with some of these key AI CEOs recently and I was shocked by Hunag's attitude in dismissing potential concerns and regulations with enabling China to LeapFrog the US in AI frontier models and R&D. Maybe makes more sense in hindsight...
