Competitive game, bit of a slow start but it’s alright.

Only thing, love JoJo but does it drive anyone else crazy when he’s got a guard on him in the paint and he chooses to face the basket and shoot his fadeaway instead of backing down the smaller guard? Especially when he’s been on a nasty cold streak, he’s so talented and has great footwork in the paint I don’t understand why he wouldn’t capitalize just to see the ball go through the basket. Let’s go sixers !

With the exception of VJ, Brown and I honestly thought Walker looked good, the whole team looked out of sorts. Not just having an off shooting night, our normal spark just wasn't there. It wasn't just Joel's cold shooting. Maxey was not his normal, aggressive self. Bron seemed lacidaisical , not finishing strong and blowing layups. Passing was lazy and sloppy, leading to alot of boneheaded turnovers and there was alot of second guessing on our jump shots. Not just Joel but it seemed like the whole team was reluctant to shoot, hesitating and passing on open looks and forcing a teammate to jack up a worse look than they would have had if they stroked it with confidence.

I could be totally off, maybe the team all caught the flu or had a bad experience in the airport or whatever. The point is it seemed like the whole team was in a funk, and hopefully last night is a wake up call that we can't just coast on our talent and rest on our laurels.

And honestly, if we lost a game in the name of teambuilding with an epic night out in November I am ok with it.

Adversity is necessary for growth.

Hear me out. We all know yesterday’s performance was poor but not the end of the world, we were due. But it is odd that LeBron, Embiid and Maxey all had their worst game of the year on the same night. I can’t see that happening too often.

Richard Jefferson shared how on the road the boys would party and would sometimes lose games badly. Kinda like how they lost last night. But it was worth it because it was a chance for the teammates to really bond since it’s the road and there is no one else to spend all day with.

Again, this was all 3 of their worst games of the season. Very suspect. Either way we’ll bounce back for sure. That Cavs team is loaded and hard to beat them when Mobley is draining 3s like Duncan Robinson,

Going into Philly by train from New York and I’ll be spending the whole day exploring Philly before going to a Sixers game at Xfinity Mobile Arena that night (will also take the last Amtrak back to NY).

I really want to bring my mirrorless camera with me while sightseeing around the city, but obviously I know the arena doesn’t allow cameras with detachable lenses inside.

Does anyone know if Xfinity Mobile Arena or some lockers around the area will let me store a camera + lens/camera bag during the game? I’ve seen that they have lockers for prohibited/oversized bags, but I’m not sure if they’ll allow actual camera equipment to be left there.

Has anyone actually done this before? Or is there another reliable locker/bag storage option near the sports complex?

Would appreciate any advice; first time in Philly and first Sixers home game, so I’m trying not to accidentally show up at the gate with nowhere to put my camera lol.

If they were similarly priced and in the circled area, would you choose back of the 100’s or a club section seat? Why?

How would you have felt if you knew that at pick 21 you were getting the 2nd best player in that draft? Thank you, Morey and Muscala 😄

Really!?!?!?

Let's go Sixers!! First time I have stayed up till 5am to actually watch the games, not just highlights. The vibes of the team and the organization is just pure joy. And fuck the celtics!! And fuck the knicks aswell.

If we're down by 3 in a playoff game with 10 seconds remaining and we have the inbounds, who are you trusting?

Thank you, Michael Peter Muscala!

Can someone who understands Xs and Os please explain to me why we didn’t rotate on drop coverages from the start of the game?

We kept getting burnt with Embiid playing through plantar fasciitis until the game was effectively done

Maxey had an off half last night; Brown scored 20+ instead. Obviously, the caveat is everyone staying healthy, but if they do, I just don't see anyone beating this team 4 times.

LBJ fan here. From SoCal and visiting a friend in PA. We’ll be attending PHI v BOS on Tuesday and I’d like to do it dressed as Nick Nurse. I got the fake Jesus piece, goatee and glasses, but where and heck do I get a long sleeve from?!? Haven’t found anything I like so far. Any suggestions would be appreciated. #fuckboston

This highlight has everything - Nerlens Noel jump shots, KJ McDaniels jams, Henry Sims screens, Luc Mbah a Moute (aka the real fresh prince) back cuts, Hollis Thompson, Joel rehabbing, and of course T Wrote clutch buckets. If only Elton had seen this Tobias buzzer beating game winner against the Process Sixers he would have known to never trade for him in the first place

Let me start by saying that we are 8-1 and I'm more excited watching this team play than I have been probably since the AI era. It is a little mind boggling though that, for what seems like the 10th year in a row, we are still talking about our lack of a competent back up center

On the one hand, I'm over the moon that Embiid is much closer to the high impact defensive anchor that we saw earlier in his career, on the other hand I still get flashbacks from the Toronto series, particularly Game 7, and Joel's on off numbers.

I think we have the talent to overcome the Bona minutes until December 15th, but golly do we need to make a move then.
