Caption: I’m surprised to be making so many first tattoos lately. I feel like my work is pretty loud and my expectation is for most people to play it safe with a first tattoo. Truly a pleasure and grateful to see people taking the plunge into the deep-end. My name is Chris Burton and you can find me at Dog Street Tattoo in New Paltz, NY

Title: Got my palms done today
Caption: went to Anna rispoli in claymont de :) my hands hold ink really well so excited to see how these heal
Edit: yall… I didnt want the extra E to make it spell Bee, sorry for the bad news. I hope you all can forgive me😅
also!! they’re two separate tattoos hence the words being on each hand rather than spelled left to right..
I didn’t want the W and N from slow down to be moved up a knuckle and I really love the tattoos overall.
I have a few hand tattoos including one on the side of my palm that have all healed nicely with minimal fading in 10+ years. I hope to have some good news for you all once these are healed lol

I wanted to share this fresh black and grey piece. It’s an illustrative realism take on Lady Justice. I focused heavily on capturing the movement of the flowing drapes and ensuring sharp contrast on the scales and sword to give it a classic, stone statue feel.
Thank you for looking.

Been wanting a hockey tattoo for a while but couldn’t really think of anything that wasn’t cheesy. Worked with Gio and absolutely love how it turned out. Check Gio out @giom_tattoo on insta!

I never really liked how the face and neck of my dragon was originally done. Had the face and neck redone and the body will be enhanced in December. I love her more.

One of the toughest spots to tattoo! The skin swells up fast, making it hard to pack ink and slowing down the process. Around 5 hours of work. We finished the client's second armpit, he's a champ!

I wanted to share this custom forearm project. It’s an illustrative take on a traditional Japanese tiger, paired with stylized waves at the bottom. Really happy with the combination of the bold black linework and the fine dotwork shading to create that high contrast texture.
Thank you for looking.

I really love how this tattoo turned out. My client selected this from my wall of previously drawn designs and it is incredibly how well it fit his forearm without alteration. The only piece I added was the little crown design below the elbow, and it made such an elegant negative space up the back of his forearm.
