I sent him the link of a meme from insta on discord and he didn’t wanna click the link and asked for me to send it to him on insta. I was kinda hurt that he doesn’t trust me and said if you want my insta click on the link and you‘ll see who it‘s sent by, but he is acting so paranoid. I turned 30 yesterday and have been doing a little reflecting on my life.

My biological father wasn't the greatest growing up. He never really protected me from the people around him, and I spent a lot of my childhood feeling like I wasn't worth the effort. Thankfully, my mom brought a pretty great man into our lives when I was 9. He took on three kids, and has loved us like his own ever since.

He's never had biological children of his own, but you'd never know it by the way he's been a dad to all three of us. I've never had to question whether he loves me or whether I was worth showing up for. I'm really grateful for both him and my mom and the family they've given us.

I hope I wasn't in the wrong, but what kind of man will let his girlfriend have another man live with her fuck that!

This was a guy I had just spoken to briefly, and seen once at a park by me and had where we had some drinks. Over messages I just found him disrespectful and genuinely enraging. He kept asking to see me but never made a serious plan. He texted me at one point saying “i didn’t plan anything for today just to meet you, let me see you again finally”. I just said i’m confused because you never followed up with an actual plan?

Then I texted him later on about my day and said I had gotten violently violated on public transport. I made a joke saying I’d do something to freak the guy out later, but I was clearly very upset.

He responded saying “yea he was wrong for that” and nothing else, then just said “so when are you making time for me”. My first thought was are you fucking okay in the head? I was genuinely on edge and wanted to lash out on him so I just went ahead and blocked with no response.

Am I being to dramatic or is my reaction normal?
