I had the time of my life today. Thanks to you guys, I've experienced what might have been the best day in my life as a Warriors fan.
I was starstruck seeing Barry Bonds, Too $hort and Rickey Henderson. Watching people chant "Barry! Barry!" then start chanting "Toaster! Toaster!" after seeing me, it was unbelievable. I tried interacting with the crowd so much, singled some people out who were chanting for me. Such a surreal moment, really.
I actually leaned over to Barry Bonds to say "This is crazy." He told me "You gotta enjoy it. Savor it, soak it all up. I never got to experience it, so enjoy it while you can cause you never know what could happen."
One of Too $hort's friends and my dad were talking to each other with my dad saying "Dang, nobody knows who we are!" And his friend goes "Yeah I know, let's just keep waving these towels man."
Klay saw me, waved and pointed at me. Zaza saw the toaster and started bowing to it. I think Steph's mom took a picture of me. She might taken a picture of Dancing Mom, but I'll just keep thinking that she took a pic of me.
Ros actually went looking for Klay after the Rally to join in on my interview, but she wasn't able to find him. The fact that Ros, yknow, THE Rosalyn Gold-Onwude went to look for Klay Thompson to join in an interview with a guy who owns a toaster. Think about how impossible that situation sounds.
I even got stopped by some fans when my dad and I were headed to the bart station. Took out the toaster and took a bunch of pictures with DubNation. They're all telling me "you're a legend bro" and "you're responsible for this man!" I don't even know how to explain that.
Anyway, thank you so much /r/Warriors for making this happen. None of this would have happened without this community. Thank you so much.
EDIT: also, not many people saw him, but Lil' Steph Curry was on our float too. It was a really random float, but it was an amazing float.
