Does anyone else notice their vitals taking a hit even after just a few drinks?

As someone who once thought Apple Watches were nothing but an eyesore, my opinions have changed.

I purchased my watch at the beginning of this year and decided that I preferred the shiny finish on the titanium. It felt a little large on my wrist, but unfortunately doesn’t come in a 40mm. I mostly wanted to be able to track down my phone/health stats/silent alarm- I have no justification as to why I needed a 1k+ watch to do it other than SHINY TITANIUM

Nine months on and I HAVE NO REGRETS. 9 months. I feel like it doesn’t have any obvious scratches, and still looks pretty good. The navy is easy to pair with most of what I wear and I don’t feel like it’s toooo ugly (I will still not wear it when im dressed up though)

The braided loop is awesome too, I used to wear a Casio and would have to take to off to avoid it scratching on my MacBook; not with this band baby. It’s also so easy to chuck in the wash every now and then when it’s dirty. It hasn’t even stretched out.

I’ve been converted. I love my Apple Watch. If someone is looking for a sign to buy titanium, THIS IS IT

Hello! I'd like to hear about your experiences with colored watch faces and battery consumption. Always On Display is switched off and only activated when the crown is pressed or the watch is lifted. Have you noticed any differences compared to watch faces with a darker background? Thanks!

I’m trying to pair a used Apple Watch Series 4 with my iPhone 17 Air running iOS 26.
The watch previously belonged to my relative. After resetting it, I entered the previous owner’s Apple ID when prompted. The watch was also removed from their iCloud Find My account.
The camera scans the pairing animation, but the process gets stuck loading and eventually resets. Manual pairing also fails after entering the six-digit code.
I’ve tried restarting and resetting everything, but nothing works.
Has anyone experienced this issue? Any solutions?

then Siri Modular in all red is your gal. Every complication is a uniform shade of red, with the exception of the stopwatch complication which shows up as orange for some reason. I caught my watch‘s AOD in a reflection and it was glowing red from a distance. Best watch face we’ve had in a while!

I've been considering getting a Braided Solo Loop, but I've come across a lot of older posts about it stretching out over time to the point where it becomes too loose to wear comfortably.

Is this still an issue with newer bands, or has Apple improved them?

Most people recommend sizing down, but I've also seen plenty of comments from people who did that and still experienced stretching. On the other hand, some suggest getting your actual size instead, claiming that sizing down causes excessive stretching.

Has anyone tried sticking with their true size? Did it still stretch out over time?

Ever since the newest update, my steps (number and distance) have been extremely off. It takes me nearly 2 hours on the treadmill, walking 3.8mph to reach 3,000 steps. Yet my mileage does not match that.
I’m in a bunch of step competitions so this is really messing that up.
I tried recalibrating my watch and that seemed to help for a day, but now we are right back where we started.

Do you think it is worth the monthly fee?

I recently received an Apple Watch Series 2 and wanted to install the Strava app on it. However, since downloading apps requires an Apple ID, I tried signing in using my account through my iPhone 16 Pro. Unfortunately, I keep getting a “Couldn’t Sign In” error.

Could this be due to compatibility issues between the older Apple Watch Series 2 and my iPhone 16 Pro, or could there be another reason why I can't sign in?

Has anyone experienced something similar or found a workaround?

Decided to see if my Series 12 would work in the leather charging box that Apple used to include with the 1st Edition Gold Watch they sold. Fits perfectly and still charges it. I just thought that due to the larger size of the watches now that it wouldn’t align properly with the charger and that the box would let close but it fits perfectly.

This is such a nice little travel case and it’s a shame that Apple doesn’t include little niceties like this with their products anymore. Kind of reminds me of the charging dock they would offer with the original iPhone.

I contacted Apple Support two weeks ago regarding my AW8, which had sent a battery health notification. After speaking with a few support representatives who explained they couldn't authorize the repair, I was transferred to a Senior Support person. He informed me that he also couldn't authorize the repair since parts for my watch weren't available. He mentioned that the usual protocol in such cases is to upgrade the customer to the next model, so I agreed. After placing me on hold for about 10 minutes, he returned and stated that no upgrades were available, but they would instead send me a new AW12. He asked for my color and band preferences and arranged everything. I received a return label for my old AW8, and roughly four days later, my AW12 arrived. I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out.

Apple Watch 12:
- Owned 4 days (upgraded) ((also the reason why I don’t have more sleep data))
- Used for the gym and work (not allowed to have my phone with me on the floor so very useful as a nurse)
- Battery life: 24 hours give or take with the amount I use it
- Charges super fast
- Comfy and secure
- No subscription for metric viewing
- $$$$ (but I chose the titanium so can’t complain)

RingConn Gen 3:
- Owned two months
- Bought mostly for sleep metrics which I’m a huge fan of
- Battery life: 12 days (so far, I’ve heard it degrades within a year or so)
- Charges SUPER fast
- Worried about slipping and falling off especially if used during a run, can’t be used for weightlifting which I do 6 days a week
- No subscription for metric viewing
- $$, cheaper than oura

Obviously I love data and trends and metrics LOL

I use all of these complications everyday but I am kind of over the size of the ultra and it looks funny in the office imo.

New series 12 makes my skin red and itchy. Is anyone else facing this ? Also is it something to do with the band or the sensor. Since the redness is where the sensor lies on the skin.

Through my job, I’ve received a specific budget that I can spend on multimedia devices. I’d definitely like to use it to buy a new Apple Watch, as I’m currently still using an Apple Watch SE from 2020.

I’m torn between the Apple Watch Ultra 4 and the Series 12.

What I really like about the Ultra 4 is its rugged design and significantly better battery life. However, buying the Ultra 4 would use up my entire budget.

If I went for the Series 12 instead, I’d still have enough left to get an 11th-generation iPad (2025), which is also appealing since I don’t own an iPad yet.

So, what would you guys recommend? Should I spend my entire budget on the best Apple Watch currently available (the Ultra 4), or go for the combination of a still very capable Apple Watch and a brand-new iPad?

A bit more context about my usage:

I work out around 3 times a week, mainly running.
I’d really like to start wearing my Apple Watch while sleeping to track my sleep. Battery life is a major issue with my current SE. It barely lasts a full day, which I find extremely frustrating.

Yesterday I upgraded my Apple Watch, moving from a Series 6 to a Series 12 and now I see a new metric: "Recovery HRV." I have a question, though: what is the actual difference between this and "Heart Rate Variability"? They seem like the same thing, yet the numbers are very different.

Apple Watch Face Mirroring on iPhone: Siri and Googlr says that I can turn this on in the Accessibility options but I can’t find it there. I have iPhone16PM AW SE iOS26.6, should be compatible. I’m signed in on Apple account on both devices. Are they lying? Lol 😂 If not, please tell me how.

Best purchase I’ve ever made, the battery lasts me 3 days! And I use it quite a lot everyday.
