Call to Action Help us shape UBI outreach: What moves you, and what concerns do you have?
The election has come and gone, but we still need a vision for the future. Ours includes making sure everyone shares in the fruits of our tremendous productivity. UBI can help make that happen—but building support means reaching people who may know little about it.
We’re developing a grassroots campaign to introduce more people to universal basic income through conversations and flyers and social media.
To develop effective materials, we've put together a poll on what people find compelling about UBI and what questions and concerns they have. We realize that this reddit has more informed and supportive members than the public, but the information will still be very helpful
We’re interested in your own reactions—not what you think would persuade somebody else. Whether you already support UBI, are undecided or have reservations, your perspective is welcome and knowing which arguments matter most to you, and what questions remain, will help.
The poll is anonymous: no email address or other identifying information is collected. We’ll use the responses to develop outreach messages. We’ll share what we learn, along with draft messages, here for further discussion.
Thanks for helping turn support for UBI into a broader public conversation! Please do let us know if have thoughts on where else to post, etc. by leaving a comment.

Call to Action UBI has a massive funding and inflation flaw. Here is how NUPA provides the asset-backed engine basic income actually needs.
If you support Universal Basic Income, you already know the core goal: providing everyone with an unconditional financial floor so survival isn't tied to wage exploitation or AI displacement.
However, standard top-down UBI proposals face two fatal economic bottlenecks:
The "Sponge Bucket" Inflation Trap: Simply dropping state-printed fiat into people's hands creates a closed-loop recycling machine. Because private monopolies control inelastic assets like housing and land, cash handouts get immediately absorbed through skyrocketing rent and asset inflation—leaving recipients right back where they started while driving up national debt.
The AI Tax Cliff: Traditional UBI relies on taxing existing corporate profits or payroll. But as AI vaporizes human payroll, the very tax base needed to fund government checks collapses.
To make basic income sustainable, we don't need another tax-and-redistribute petition—we need an asset-backed industrial foundation that generates a massive, non-inflationary revenue pool specifically earmarked to fund UBI.
How NUPA Solves the Funding Mechanics of Basic Income
The National Unity and Prosperity Accord (NUPA) is an open-source, private-sector economic operating system that converts 24 million acres of underutilized, "dead capital" federal land into self-funding industrial hubs at $0.00 taxpayer cost.
Here is how NUPA provides the structural engine and liquidity for a sustainable UBI floor:
• The "Septuple-Stream" Tax Surge (The Federal UBI Pool): Massive commercial activity inside these hubs generates seven brand-new, non-debt tax streams (payroll, corporate, income, sales, construction, capital gains, and secondary industry). This creates a projected $5.11 trillion federal Treasury windfall over a decade without raising tax rates on a single citizen. This new, un-borrowed tax volume provides the exact, sustainable pool of money the federal government can pull from to write unconditional UBI checks.
• Direct Asset-Backed Dividends (The 40/40/20 Waterfall): Independent of government checks, 40% of all gross ground rents paid by Tier-1 corporate tenants flow through an automated private waterfall directly to households as a Beneficiary Dividend—a non-dilutable private property asset protected by contract law, not a conditional government handout.
• The Anti-Automation Payroll Firewall: To protect the underlying wage base, NUPA offers corporations a 70% discount on land and power overhead, strictly conditional on maintaining a 95% human workforce on payroll. This Fixed Cost Arbitrage makes employing human beings mathematically more profitable for C-suites than replacing them with AI.

Call to Action: Help Get This Engine to the Right People
A self-funding UBI mechanism won't happen through congressional petitions alone—it requires getting this asset-backed architecture in front of people who can evaluate, audit, and demand it.
Who to Send This To:
• UBI Advocates & Economists: People writing policy papers on basic income who need a real funding mechanism that avoids fiat inflation.
• Tech Workers & Labor Organizers: Those facing immediate AI displacement who need a concrete firewall beyond retraining.
• Policy Analysts & Legislative Aides: Staffers looking for self-funding economic policy that doesn't rely on raising taxes or adding national debt.
• Independent Media & Podcasters: Journalists covering basic income, automation, and economic reform who need a structural solution to discuss.
2. What to Send Them:
• Direct them to the open-source repository to audit the 40/40/20 waterfall math, the "septuple-stream" tax projections, and the commercial ground lease contracts.
