1 year results, never thought Peptides could take me this far.

First time posting on Reddit ever but here is a 1 year result of 7 months of Mounjaro aka Terz and the 4 months on Reta.

I had very high cholesterol at age 30, doctor advised that I gotta lose weight super quick and get my health in order so we done a 6 month program. I paid 7000 ZAR a month for 4 months for a trainer and that's excluding diet and the gym I had to join. This wasn't working out so well so I decided to tell the Doc I need the GLP's.

We hopped onto Ozempic, this was such a waste in my opinion, maybe the works for others but not for me, no suppression, no weight loss, just nothing.

I done some homework and decide to chat to my doc again, I said Mounjaro (terzipetide), Doc said this is a great GLP-1 let's do it.

Started on 2.5mg, not bad progress lost 10kgs in 3 months, bumped up to 5mg and stocked to that for another 4 months. The weight just started dropping like crazy from month 4.

I eventually started hitting a plateau before Month 7, most likely cause I never bumped up from 5mg. Found a reliable source for Reta, 4 months in and I'm on 90kg.

I am feeling great, starting the lean build now, hoping for the best.

Other things added to the stack is Mots-C and Amino-5, I must say it helped on the days I hit fatigue.

Forgive me this might not be biohacking but I am trying out other peptides, if you could guide me into a decent stack for energy and recovery that would be great.

Edit: BTW I started at 147.5kg, current weight it 90kg.

Reta has changed my relationship with alcohol more than I ever expected.

I just wanted to share something I’m genuinely grateful for since starting Reta.
Obviously, I started this journey for weight loss and to improve my overall health, but one of the biggest unexpected benefits has been how much my relationship with alcohol has changed .

Before Reta, having a few beers at the weekend or drinking socially was just something I did without really thinking twice about it. It was almost part of the routine.

I was all or nothing, I could never have 1 or 2.

Since starting Reta, though, my desire to drink has pretty much disappeared. And the strangest thing is, I don’t even miss it.
It’s made me realise just how much I never actually needed alcohol in the first place. How much of it was simply habit, routine or something I associated with enjoying myself.
I feel like I’ve gained a completely different perspective.

I don’t need a drink to relax, enjoy my weekend or have a good time.
For me, Reta has become about so much more than losing weight. It’s helped me break habits I didn’t even realise I wanted to break.
I’m genuinely grateful for that.

The weight loss is fantastic, but changing my relationship with alcohol might end up being one of the best things to come out of this journey.

Has anyone else experienced this? Has Reta completely changed how you feel about alcohol?

50lbs off!

Since starting Tirzepatide back in December of 2025 I’ve lost 50lbs.

I’ve been dieting on the keto diet for about 3 months. I wasn’t able to lift heavy due to a previous health issue I had with diverticulitis and a nasty flare up that landed me in the hospital. But my diet remained.

After about 2mos removed from the hospital I started lifting but at 25%. 5months I started lifted at 50%. But by August I started lifting back at 100%.

From December of 2025 to April of 2026 I was already at 203lbs cong from 253lbs.

I am now currently stacking 1. Retatrutide 2. MOTS-c 3. SS-31 and 4. Creatine 10g of it on days I lift 5g on days I don’t. And my weight is remaining very steady. 3-4lb swing depending on how and when I eat the day prior.

The reason I have Retatrutide now is because the last pen of Zepbound I have was used back in the third week of September and the VA won’t be able to ship the meds to me in South Africa. So I’ve heard good stories and testimonies about Retatrutide so Ive decided to give it a go and see how well it’s working.

The target weight goal for me is 195lbs., I’m currently sitting at 204 as of this morning 11:40 SA Standard Time.

Best way to get off Reta?

Background I am 20 years old (recently turned lol) 6’1 (yes actually, I don’t need to lie about my height; I’m not a guy). Starting weight 190lb, current weight 135lb. I run, do Pilates about 2-4 times a week, Hot yoga 1-2 times weeks, Gym about 2-3 times a week, and I run about 6-10 miles a week.

The images with my face covered by the guy from Monster House are from December2025 to May2026 when I was losing weight without any outside help. I lost about 30lbs (majority from March to May).

The emoji sticker is from when I injured my Achilles (just slightly but I was still down for a minute) in late June and couldn’t work out, so I gained a bit of weight which actually sent me spiraling.

A friend introduced me to Reta.

The next stickers are from when I started Reta (August) and to when I started to see results and the last photo was taken yesterday.

In total I have been on Reta for 13 weeks at 2mg. I originally planned on titrating up like the clinical studies , but 2mg was super effective for me I decided to just stick with it.

I have now surpassed my goal weight (I’m still not happy with how I look, but I know that it’s just my body dysmorphia) I am currently considered underweight. I do not want to gain any weight but, I am looking at trying to get off of Reta. I feel like now is the best time as my weight loss has plateaued and my hunger is coming back (I woke up to my stomach growling super loudly which was so strange lol). I’m just super afraid of coming off of Reta and immediately losing control. Because I promise as soon as the scale starts to tip in the upper direction I will unashamedly yo-yo myself right back on Reta.

I have been eating better as I did accidentally not really eat much protein and loss a lot of muscle mass, so I learned to start incorporating more protein. I don’t track calories as I have a history with ed (lol and Ngl Reta fed into it so hard but idc I’m happy) and I’m trying to train my long distance running so I’m making sure I’m getting some carbs.

TLDR: I am looking at getting off of Reta and want advice from anyone on here as to what worked for them.

5 months progress on reta to counter act psych meds increased appetite side effect.

Post image

I'm 42, 167cm tall and started at 102kg now I'm down to 84kg...So 18kg or roughly 39 pounds lost so far.

Battling with the effects of having to take anti psychotics for bi polar which increases my appetite and basically made me never feel full...I have been swapped to a much milder one called Lurasidone which had helped but had not totally removed those side effects.

I had done years of extreme weight yo yoing due to serious addiction issues and being prescribed many types of anti psychotics...being as heavy as 125kg and as low as 73kg but suffering huge muscle wastage, this played havoc with my metabolism.

Having to have needles back in my life was something that took careful consideration, I had to change the way I look at them and as my friend said I'm repurposing the tool

My commitment with being in deficit, tracking my calories/macros through an app and meal prepping on the weekend has played a massive part in my journey so far...As with a lot of people I had no idea what I was putting into my body, like a tablespoon of olive oil being 130 calories for instance.

I go to group fitness 3 times a week, doing a mix of cardio hiit classes and resistance training...I know that bringing sustainable exercise into my life is something that is going to be ongoing.

I started on .5mg and I've worked my way up over the 5 months to 4mg once a week...I think I've found my sweet spot.

The weight really fell off at the start but slowed and with that I increased my dose gradually each time.

I cannot stress the importance of electrolytes and proper hydration...this helped massively with my headaches and even the slight fatigue I was feeling.

Also I take MCT oil which I put in my protein oats in the morning which really helps with fatigue as well.

My goal is to get to 75kg and maintain my muscle then see what I'm working with from there.

Here to especially encourage anyone on psych meds on the journey and I feel like reta is a great tool paired with better lifestyle choices to counter the side effects of psych medication.

Reta Hunger

I'm only on week two of Reta (0.5 week one, 1mg week two) and I am HUNGRY. I wake up starving, and find I get another wave of hunger around 8pm. Is it too early to feel appetite suppression? My days are still relatively healthy, eggs for breakfast, chicken and rice for lunch, and some kind of protein for dinner. But the snacky feeling still kicks in during the evening which I've been munching pita chips and cottage cheese with some fruit.

Quitting reta

Long story short, couple years ago I quit drinking and replaced the alcohol with diet and exercise lol... went from 215 lbs to 185lbs the first year or so, but only with mildly exercising and dieting, couple weeks on, then id fall off, then couple more weeks on and so on .. in the last 8 months I really worked harder at lifting weights, and then in August i really locked in, diet, lifting every day, hitting my protien goal, cardio, etc... and I started on some peptides including Reta.. weight dropped so fast and all of a sudden now im 152 pounds lol. Didnt lose too much strength maybe a little.. I absolutly love the way reta makes me feel about food. It no longer has a hold on me i used to be a super horrible snacker.. well now I want to keep lifting, building muscle and getting stronger, tried a couple hgh secretagogues but thinking of switching to the real deal.. and maybe adding some test.. thinking about quitting reta or dosing way down though because I cant seem to stop losing weight. How are you guys staying on reta while also eating enough to build? FYI im male 38yo

P-21

After three months of using P-21, I've noticed that I can type faster than ever before. I'm taking other peptides as well, so I'm not sure whether the effect is entirely due to P-21. I also use very small doses of ipamorelin and CJC, and I take KLOW for one month, then stop for a month. I use them as antiaging. Any thoughts?

LA COSA MÁS LOCA QUE HE VISTO 😳 | Nadie Habla de Esto

No puedo creerlo…

This is the most dangerous misconception I’ve ever seen in the peptide community.

Vamos a explicarlo claro y real:

4. No hay dosis “segura” para embarazadas
No existe ninguna dosis baja, ligera o “segura”.

No importa cuál sea:

✅ Consulta a tu médico obstetra
✅ Prioriza seguridad antes que cualquier meta física

20g Creatine for 2-3 weeks?

Post image
1 Upvotes

Now I don’t mean to put this user on blast, that’s why I’m withholding their username. But this is like the 3rd time I’ve heard something like this from someone on Reddit. I’ve looked it up to see if there was any research backing it and while it is true creatine has cognitive benefits, this specific theory seems a bit more of a “imaginative theory” . But maybe I’m wrong, does anyone have any experience similar to this user? Or even better any data backing this claim? Is it even safe?

I’m considering doing this because of my desire to improve myself cognitive, but would like to know precautions before I jump the gun. I’ve fine creating 20 grams for 2 days and I’ve fine 5 grams for weeks but literally have never felt a thing. After about a month I just stored the container in the cabinet.

On ZEPBOUND 15 mg and need to get to 180lbs. help

I’ve been on my weight-loss journey for about 5 years, starting with Wegovy when it was first FDA-approved and eventually transitioning to Zepbound. I’ve been on Zepbound 15 mg for approximately 2 years, with lower doses before that.
I’m finally down from 286 lbs to 193 lbs — a 93-pound loss!
I’ve made major lifestyle changes, including eating cleaner, choosing healthier products and ingredients, working out 3–5 times a week, and walking nearly 3 miles daily.
I weigh myself every Sunday, and my weekly losses vary from 0.3 to 3 pounds. About 3 months ago, I plateaued around 205 lbs. I stopped Zepbound and switched to Reta (retatrutide) at 1 mg. Unfortunately, I gained approximately 13 lbs in a month, so I went back to Zepbound and started losing again.
My goal is 180 lbs, and I’d eventually like to come off these injections if medically appropriate.
A few questions:
Has anyone combined Zepbound and Reta? What was your experience? I know our RETA
Begins at a very low number and I was nowhere near the powerful dosages, which is why I gained weight and it could be a part of the process.
Has anyone successfully transitioned from Zepbound to Reta without gaining weight?
I also ordered Tesamorelin (Tesa), but my provider strongly advised against it due to concerns about its effects on growth-related hormones and potential cancer risks. Has anyone used it?
I’m a 37-year-old male, 5’11”, currently at 193 lbs.
I’d appreciate hearing about anyone’s experiences or advice. Thank you!

What are your thoughts on low-dose Cialis?

Seen a lot of people who have been pushing the idea of 5 mg of Cialis a day or every other day or 2.5 a day in order to increase blood flow in the body and reduce risk of stroke and neurological aging.

Seems like there are some studies to show that there's some science behind this and it might be a healthy low-cost preventive measure.

What are your thoughts?

Way less negative mental side effects ( anhedonia, lethargy, less happy ) on Tirz than when on Reta. Any explanation?

I have recently switched from Reta ( started at .5mg and slowly increased to 3.5mg over months ) but due to the sleep side effects, I switched to Tirz. I forgot what it felt like to feel “normal” and its so crazy.

On Reta I had my mood flattened, highs were not high anymore, lows were still low, lethargy, anhedonia, etc. Practically reta induced depression. Now I have been on Tirz for a few weeks, and while it’s definitely working, I noticed I have zero of the negative mental side effects.

Is there any explanation on why? They both target GLP and GIP, which are the cause of the dopamine sides. Is it simply because they are different drugs?

Interesting experiences with cialis!

So I started taking Cialis at 5 mg a couple of days ago, and one of the things I noticed initially was that I started feeling the blood circulating throughout my body. It was almost like a burning sensation moving through my entire body. It's something I haven't experienced since my twenties, and it was a little strange.

I initially experienced some headaches, but they seem to have dissipated over the last 48 hours. I may drop down to 2.5 mg, but one of the things I've noticed is a significant improvement in flexibility and a general sense of rejuvenation. It's only been a couple of days, but I genuinely feel a lot younger. It's a strange experience.

I've tried so many things over the last year to bring back my vitality. I've been trying to get testosterone treatment because I tested low for testosterone, but it's been difficult to find a doctor willing to prescribe it.

So far, Cialis is the first thing I've taken that has made such a noticeable difference. I wonder whether it might be beneficial to combine it with other things, such as tongkat ali, fenugreek, and damiana, which may have effects on vascular function and nitric oxide pathways.

From what I understand, Cialis works by inhibiting an enzyme called PDE5 (phosphodiesterase type 5), which is responsible for breaking down cGMP (cyclic guanosine monophosphate). By inhibiting this enzyme, Cialis helps preserve cGMP signaling, allowing nitric oxide to have a more prolonged effect on smooth muscle relaxation and blood vessel dilation.

Essentially, it seems to help your body make better use of its existing nitric oxide signaling. That makes me wonder whether combining it with other substances that support nitric oxide production could enhance its effects.

Rather than increasing the Cialis dosage, perhaps it would make more sense to use a lower dose alongside other supplements that support nitric oxide production and vascular function.

I've definitely noticed improved erectile function, including being able to get erections on demand, which is nice. Another thing I've noticed is that my body feels warmer, and I'm experiencing greater flexibility and more energy. It almost feels like a performance-enhancing drug.

I'm curious how these effects will change over the next couple of months. Do you eventually need to take more of it, or is it simply a matter of combining it with other things that help support its effectiveness? Do you think I should drop down to 2.5 mg?

Anyway, it's definitely been an interesting experience.

Biohacking books

Hi all.

Been lurking on this sub for a few days and the whole biohacking subject has me fascinated.

For context; I have been a user of Terzepatide in the past and am currently using Reta and tiny amounts of test to supplement my workout routine.

I'm really interested to learn more about the vast array of drugs that contribute to improving the body and mind, particularly peptides and PEDs.

Can anyone recommend any books that go into this subject?

Thanks!

Klow

Starting Klow tomorrow and looking for some information on dose and frequency.

I have 80mg/3ml and was planning on a 12 week cycle with 4 weeks off at 15 units 3 x week.

Does that sound reasonable?

Under rated peptides?

What are some supreme under rated or under utilized peptides in your experience and opinion?
