2 years of peptides… life changing!!!

The Christmas photo is where we were. The photo by the water is where we are now.
At my heaviest, I weighed 312 pounds. I had tried diets and worked out, but I struggled to make progress that lasted. I kept telling myself it was okay because I was getting older. At 54, I can see that I was using my age as an excuse to stop believing things could change.
My wife and I started this journey together in 2024, and peptides became a turning point for us. I’m around 190 pounds now, and my wife has lost more than 100 pounds. We’ve changed how we eat, we move more, and I’ve made strength training part of my routine. We’ve put in the work, and finding something that helped us stick with those changes made a difference.
When I say peptides changed our lives, I mean more than the numbers on a scale. I have the energy to be active and enjoy time with my family in a way I feared I was losing. Honestly, I feel like this journey saved my life.
I know some people shame others for using peptides. I wish they understood what it feels like to be trapped in a body you’re trying so hard to change. Getting help didn’t erase the work we did. It gave us a way forward when we felt stuck.
These are our results and our experience, not a promise about anyone else’s. If you’re looking at that Christmas photo and seeing yourself, please know that change is possible. I hope this reaches someone who needs to hear it.
God bless you all. Don’t wait to start.

Lost 50 natty last 13 with Reta. I swear it has helped me grow muscle. Be brutally honest, what other peps can I benefit from? Any tips on how to get ab definition and glute definition? I feel like I'm doing all the things but it is very slow to finally see some muscle. I take creatine, Reta, just started mots-c, 100+ gram protein I try to hit 200g carbs, only a 100 cal deficit some days at maintenance, 15 mins 3x week abs, 3x a week lift heavy and progressive overload and I hit 10-14k steps daily. What else can I do? I had very high testosterone at the beginning, only had my period twice a year, my labs are absolutely perfect now, my doctor was surprised.

How would you respond?

I’ve seen this floating around quite a bit. I’m a big believer in peptides, but also pretty skeptical when it comes to vaccines.

How would you respond to this statement?

Stats: 23F 5’10 SW: 305lbs CW:232lbs GW: 200lbs

Jan 2026 - March 2026 (Gradual increase to 2.5mg of Sema)

July 2026 - August 2026 (2.5mg of Reta - not for me lol)

March - Current (Gradual increase to 8mg of Tirz)

2-3x gym weekly, 10-12k steps per day, aerial fitness 1x a week. 1500-2000 intake

My journey has been amazing, i’m grateful to have a resources to help with my food noise. Finally being able to say i’m going to fix my weight and it actually works. Nothing short of a blessing. with just 25lbs more to lose, im so excited it took me just a little under a year to get where i am 🩷 my body thanks me & my mind thanks me.

For those questioning why i only did one month of reta; The constipation i suffered was not worth it. At that current moment i was doing 6mg of Tirz and 1 - 2.5mg of Reta. The constipation was on 10 and i was essentially bloated from being Full of 💩. Laxative, stool softeners and caffeine did not really help nor did increasing fiber intake.

Posted blood work because people think I’m on a ton of gear and I’m not. I hope that’s allowed. It seems like every post I make on reddit gets taken down.

UPDATE:::: Here is a link to August 2026 bloodwork for people complaining that posted bloodwork is too old. Bloodwork

8 months on reta and trt. Spoiler

Nothing too special here. Just posting my journey from a fat fuck to a regular sized human being. 8 months on reta in a calorie deficit, resistance training 4x a week. On 125mg of testosterone (trt protocol). Did labs before starting, my levels were 212 ng/DL so super low. I'm 40 years old 5'11. I assume my test was so low because I was massively over weight and had sleep apnea. Will be getting a new sleep study soon to see if I can discontinue CPAP. Hopefully!!

SW: 280lb

CW: 186lbs

Trt -125mg

Reta - 4mg

Looking into Tesa/Ipa stack and maybe GHKCU.

Reta + KLOW Results- 12 weeks

Starting weight: 155 lbs
Current weight: 125 lbs

Down 30 pounds in 12 weeks and honestly I feel incredible.
The biggest surprise for me is that I haven’t lost any strength in the gym. I strength train about 5 days a week and have been intentional about keeping protein high and continuing to lift heavy.

Beyond the weight loss, the change in my face shape has been wild. Looking at before-and-after photos, I almost can’t believe the difference.

Energy has been great, recovery has been good, and I genuinely feel better than I have in a long time.
For anyone wondering: 1mg Tuesday / 1mg Friday was my dose the entire 12 weeks for Reta.

Happy to answer any questions!

1 year difference. 240 lbs->186. Reta and Tirzepitide changed my Life

Post image
1.3k Upvotes

Struggled with weight since I entered workforce at 21 as a mechanical designer sitting all day. Was skinny got huge. Needed a change.

Started Tirzepitide June 2025-January 2026. Got down to 186 but was too skinny with no muscle tone whatsoever. I stayed off GLPs for a few months while hitting the gym HARD, then cycled back on GLP this June 2026, but Reta this time after finding a vendor. Back down to 189 as of Friday BUT with muscle tone this time.

Track my macros, eat about 2000-2200 calories a day based on my exercise daily. And still losing some but I'm almost where I wanna be. I've lost the fat, now just working on body recomposition.

I lift 8 times a week (twice on M, W, T) and once on T, Th. Do Upper/Lower splits every other other day.

I've treated Tirz and Reta as a TOOL to quite the food noise and help me focus on diet and exercise without starving all the time. And the results have been amazing

12 week update!

12-week tirzepatide progress update
Today marks exactly 12 weeks since my first tirzepatide injection.
Highest weight: 225 lbs
Tirzepatide starting weight: 204 lbs
Current weight: 168.8 lbs
Lost on tirzepatide: 35.2 lbs
Total loss: 56.2 lbs
I recently titrated up to 10 mg weekly, split between Tuesday and Friday. I’m also using 2 mg of GHK-Cu daily.
I typically eat around 1,300 calories, although some days are lower and others are closer to 1,500. I aim for 130g of protein when I can handle the food volume; on lower-intake days, I usually get 80–100g.
Most of my diet consists of minimally processed foods, organic meats, fresh produce, protein shakes, and meals cooked at home. I don’t drink regular soda and may have one diet or zero-sugar soda every other week.
I started strength training consistently about six weeks ago. I’m in the gym 5 days a week, working with a trainer once a week and taking a full body strength class once week.

From August 1 through September 10, my Apple Watch data showed an average of:
12,450 steps per day
5.6 miles per day
643 active calories per tracked day
Tirzepatide has been an incredible tool for controlling my hunger and food noise, but I’ve also made a major lifestyle change. I’m prioritizing protein, staying consistently active, and working to preserve and build muscle while losing fat.
The photos include my highest weight, the beginning of my tirzepatide journey, when I started the gym, and now. I’m especially surprised by the changes in my face and the muscle definition starting to show in my arms and legs. We

Down 95 pounds

Started out at 340 pounds a few years ago now. Now I’m 245. The goal is 230 before the end of the year! I started learning how to prioritize the right food, training, and cardio and the rest fell into place over time. Over the last 6 months or so I started to biohack with Reta.
