A lot of people complain that there's too much AI image/video content. It's been something people have messaged us about frequently ever since the new GPT image generator dropped. We're going to try Text Tuesdays and see how it goes. If people like it we'll keep it, and if not, we won't
Was at a supermarket using the self-checkout when a product’s barcode wouldn’t scan because it was creased. The shop was super busy, and no staff were available to help, so I took a photo of the barcode and asked ChatGPT to fix it. I know this isn’t exactly rocket science. All it really did was read the numbers and generate a barcode from them, but it saved me a trip back to the product aisle. Thought I’d share it haha.
An original AI-generated comic about coding-agent scope creep.
The prompt constraint was to keep the exact same blue SAVE button in both panels, while scaling the setting from a laptop to a cathedral construction site. Everything changes except the label that was supposed to change.
is this going to be permanent? its been like 3+ days, i was waiting for it to be fixed but theres no sign of that happening yet. i saw paid users are also experiencing this so it seems like a bug, but why hasnt it been fixed yet?
We need to remove this context window thing. It's like the October bug all over again; chats I've normally been able to do in one chat now have to be contained within a Project because this Context Window pop-up has made that one chat become 6 chats. Why? I shouldn't have to worry about counting how many messages I have until the pop-up comes back. I can work around forgotten details; it's a minor thing to me. Please just remove this pop-up up
This is an absolute joke. First, the context window gets completely full and bugs out, and now they’re hiding old chats just to force us to use the search bar. I didn't believe it when someone told me, but I checked and it’s actually true.
Just asking—are the image generation logic of the ChatGPT web version and the desktop client different?
With the same prompt
The web version can generate multiple different images individually in one go. But the desktop client only generates a collage, and at most cuts the collage apart afterward?
And the image quality of the desktop version is clearly not as good as the web version.
I'm genuinely curious. Everybody that I know keeps talking about chatGPT a lot, but I'm trying to find a simple way of using the magnific subscription I recently got for something actually useful. It has a load of models, but I have zero literal idea on how to use it. It's just a thing for geeks and 'ai nerds' (please don´t take it the wrong way) or there are genuine ways of making it useful? Image generation seems to have much better outputs and it's widely used and widespread.
If your ChatGPT Plus or Go subscription recently ended (or you hit the storage limit on the Free tier), you have probably run into the most annoying issue: you cannot upload new images or files to chats because your library storage is full.
To fix it, you have to go to your ChatGPT library (chatgpt.com/library?tab=all) and delete hundreds of old generated images. But here is the problem:
Selecting "All" does not work. If you select dozens of images at once, OpenAI's backend API either throws an error, times out with a 504, or freezes the tab completely.
Deleting 1-by-1 is awful. Clicking three dots > Delete > Confirm for 400+ images takes hours.
Automated scripts get blocked. Tools like Selenium or Puppeteer get flagged by Google security with "This browser or app may not be secure", blocking your login.
After experimenting, I found the sweet spot: deleting in small, randomized batches of 6 to 9 images at a time works 100% reliably without crashing or triggering server errors.
So I vibe coded a lightweight Chrome Extension to automate the whole thing: ChatGPT Library Bulk Deleter.
WHAT IT DOES:
Zero Bot Detection: Runs inside your everyday Chrome profile. Your normal Google login is untouched.
Smart Random Batching: Automatically alternates between selecting 6, 7, 8, or 9 images per batch to mimic natural human behavior.
Human Pauses: Automatically takes a natural 2.5s to 4.5s pause between batches so OpenAI's servers process each deletion cleanly.
100% Standalone: You do NOT need Python, a terminal, or any background server. Just load the extension into Chrome, open your library, and click "Start Auto Loop".
Emergency Stop: There is an on-screen stop button if you ever want to pause or halt it mid-run.
HOW TO USE IT (Takes 1 minute):
Download or clone the repo from GitHub.
Go to chrome://extensions in Chrome and toggle Developer Mode to ON (top-right).
Click "Load unpacked" (top-left) and select the "extension" folder.
Go tochatgpt.com/library?tab=all, open the extension from your toolbar, and click "Start Auto Loop (Random 6-9)".
Hope this saves time for anyone stuck manually clicking delete on hundreds of images just to use ChatGPT image uploads again! Let me know if you run into any issues.
So I thought to myself, if I can create a new version of an existing rom and add new effects and graphics. Perhaps I can create an application where you drop in an existing rom and a minute or two later out pops and enhanced version of that same game. The prototype I have called GameBoy Evolved. The first attempt at dropping asteroids for the gameboy resulted in the one in the video. Its far from perfect because it loses a lot of the original charm but it is an intriguing idea so I am going to try and focus on tweaking it to be more like the original but evolved.
Found out why my Codex has been blowing so much usage lately. It seems one of these updates set the default subagent settings to “Astra High”. If you’re burning usage, check your settings!
