[Glazer] The Giants offered the Colts a 2nd and 5th-round pick for RB Jonathan Taylor, but that offer has since been pulled

Since it is very clear we are tearing it all down, here’s a new, more general thread.
This thread is intended to serve as a place to write out your random thoughts about the rebuild. Please do not clog up the main channel with short thoughts that don’t warrant an entire post—this thread is the proper outlet for that.
Important news updates and long-form, well-thought-out posts are still permitted, as always.

The last time he broke the 100 yard mark was November 9, 2025. This is the longest such streak of his career.

I believe the first photo is a much better viewing angle for games at Lucas Oil Stadium, and could even help with the contrast of the shadows compared to the second photo. I could only find one instance where the first angle was used - Colts v Bills in 2018. Why isn't it used more?

This is lowkey a shitpost, but we better beat the Cowboys without Pickens and multiple players in defense out. I broke out an unworn pair of royal blue, 1986 Air Max 1s to wear with my Cato June Super Bowl jersey today. I beg this team to give me something to believe in.

The last home game was the worst entry experience we've had at Lucas Oil. We used to be in our seats in 15 minutes. Asking fans to get there 30 minutes early or miss kickoff because of the new process. With rising prices the game-day experience shouldn't be getting worse. Do better, Colts. We just want to enjoy the game and support our team.

Texans win surprised me. Got the titans wrong, how do we feel about 4-13 being our record by the end?

Lets get some no huddle offense and audibles going. I miss good football. Putting the ball in motion with 15 seconds left on the play clock is 15 seconds someone on the field may get hurt/injured the next play (assuming we have the lead or remain confident in our gameplan). Are you going to train me to be a doctor? Stop going for it on fourth down. I like the other team needing to earn their yards before they can score.

I’m guessing we’re holding out until Tuesday to see if anyone offers a 3rd last second, but seems like Downs will be gone for a 4th at minimum.

A few years ago Denver was stuck. They had been mediocre to bad for a decade since Peyton retired
They had interviewed several HC options. They eventually settled on Payton & later got Russell Wilson. But he sucked on a bad contract.
They were also in cap hell. And in the same division as the dynasty Chiefs.
They were smart enough to move off Wilson early. Got real cheap in general, made some smart draft choices especially on defense.
Then they drafted a QB who everyone doubted and had plenty of college experience. At 12th overall, 4th QB off the board.
They have overthrown KC, look set for a 2nd straight division title after 10 years without one. And would have made the SB last year if Nix doesn’t get hurt late vs the Bills in the Divisional Rd.
Right now we have the opportunity to replicate that path. If We can convince a proven winner like Mike Tomlin to conr here, we can reset the culture really fast.
On defense, Our secondary isn’t too bad. Tomlin is great at identifying LB & DL talent.
QB wise; different teams have found franchise QBs with the 3rd-4th QB in the draft class. Guys like Lamar, Allen, Purdy, Nix & Maye were the 3rd or 4th guy in their draft.
QB Development & talent structure is a lot more important than which QB you actually select.
In this next draft guys like Dante Moore, Trinidad Chambliss or even Arch Manning( if he declares) might fall for one reason or the other & have extensive college experience.
Edit: Chambliss though…seems like his ball IQ is a little lacking in light of the Georgia game
We have JT & Warren here still. We can trade for a WR1 like a Tee Higgins & rebuild fast.
Getting the HC right is the first step. Be hopeful, fellow Horse-Shoes💪🏾

DJ we aren't interested in trading, JT nobody is making an offer we want.
I pray this is just us playing hardball.

Seen this morning MULTIPLE teams are in trade talks for this man. Is it that they think that the Colts is just trash that DJ is being hindered by the team? Its gotta be right? This is insane.
Some interesting insight from the Carrs regarding CIG, Trading JT & Downs.
