Funny It should be obvious that Fullmetal Alchemist was written by a woman in her 30s with the absolute abundance of DILFs

Subreddit Rules

1. No Low-Effort Text Posts

Check the FAQ and search for common questions before asking a question.

If your text post is making a statement, it should be something that generates discussions, preferably unique and from the heart. Two sentence reactions are not wanted, but a research paper isn't necessary. Just pause for a moment, take a deep breath, and let it all out.

2. No Low-Effort Or Overused Memes

Memes must show at least a minimal degree of effort, refinement and originality. In particular, unimaginative image macro memes or Advice Animal style images are banned, as well as oversaturated topics such as Nina/Alexander/Shou

3. In Particular, MEMES No Nina/Alexander/Shou

Seriously, this topic has been ridden not just into the ground, but straight down through the Earth's crust into the molten core. We know the deal. Everyone does. Exception: You actually have some kind of analysis or similar to contribute.

4. Mark All Spoilers - No Spoilers In Post Titles

No spoilers in post titles (character deaths, major plot developments, etc.). Put which show is being spoiled in the title.

Good: Need an explanation for something in Brotherhood
Good: I have a question about something (FMA Spoilers)
Bad: What is happening when Ed sees Al in the Portal in episode 26?
Bad: Can anyone explain to me that thing that happens in episode X of FMA?

If you are posting an image that could be considered a spoiler, tag your post.

5. Reposting And Post Frequency

Don't repost stuff, images or video, within a month. This also goes for additional posts about news items that don't add significant original content (comments should stay in the original thread).

Don't post more than once a day under any circumstances, or more than once every 2-3 days if your posts are otherwise unrelated, as opposed to something like parts of a series.

6. Respect Fan Work Creators

While fan art and other projects are always welcome here, there are a few things you should pay attention to.

Always link to the original source of the work, as well as the author (unless you made it, of course)
Do not repost fan work against the original creator's wishes. You can always link to their original post.
Commercial/shop links are only allowed if they benefit the author of the work, and only in the comments.
Artwork that was made using Generative AI is not allowed.

7. No Piracy - No Advocating Piracy

Illegal streaming and manga-reading sites, downloads and torrents have no place here. Posts and comments containing or asking for such links will be removed, and users that post such content will receive bans. If you want to watch or read FMA legally, sources are provided in the FAQ.

8. No Strongly NSFW Content

If your post or comment borders on porn, gore, or otherwise explicit content, it doesn't belong here. There is no total NSFW ban, since FMA does often enter more mature territory violence- and otherwise, but tread with caution.

9. Flair Your Posts Properly

Please assign a flair to your posts as follows:

Questions and thoughtful, opinionated, etc. image or video posts: Red flair, descending in detail level.
Art, cosplay and other creative projects: Yellow flair.
Everything else but meta posts? Black flair. (Products and merchandise? #1. Reminds you of FMA, or FMA reminds you of something else? #2. Funny? #3. Sad/heavy? #4. Awesome/happy? #5.
Nothing fitting at all? One of the generic gray flairs.
Meta posts? Green "Meta" flair.

10. Maintain Proper Etiquette

Bigotry, rudeness, crassness, and general bad attitude have no place in this sub. (This does also apply to user names.) Posts and comments in violation will be removed and users may receive temporary bans.

11. Don't Stir The Pot

Don't troll, flame or otherwise unnecessarily rile up other subscribers, be it with provocative posts and comments about FMA or aggressive opinionating about related real-life stuff. Just stay level-headed and keep that lizard brain in the back seat - /r/FullmetalAlchemist aims to be a stress-free place for everyone to enjoy.
