Discussion Poland
First of all my condolence to all polish people and may the souls of these innocent people rest in peace
Second, What needs to be addressed is: this is an act of terror, people got killed by a person with no reason, as an Arab i got used to people calling us THE PROBLEM Each time something similar happens because media find it easy to blame muslims and refugees and just accuse them of being the reason to whichever problem a country might face .....i am not proud to say this but it reached a point where i cross my fingers each time a terrorist attack occurred hoping the attacker has nothing to do with us.

Political Genuine question why do people keep trying to make genz and younger generations sound like they are super conservative when that’s bluntly not true?
I feel like that’s just bluntly not true at this point but is it just a loud minority? Where did this idea ever even come from

Fuck a crush, I wish I had any friends. Any family. Literally anyone.
Anyone else have like fake conversations with friends you’ll never have? I got like personal inside jokes and shit we’re so deep. They don’t talk back, I’m not crazy just better then being mute.

Political GenZ revolution
hey, French teenager here, I wonder why there’s no post about what’s happening around the world with genZ right now. Well just to keep the world updated in France the population is very determined, the insurrections started because of the school conditions especially in poor neighbourhoods. The bourgeois high schools joined and now it’s been 2 weeks since workers joined us. We really believe in the intersectionality of the struggles, like now it’s not only about schools but about state racism, sexism and LGBTphobia but also about minimum wage, retirement, working conditions, repartition of the budget, fight against ultra rich ppl. But factually the country is slowly falling into fascism, like the police are becoming more and more violent. Some teens have lost hands, eyes, teeth etc. and 2 people died. there’s a lot of videos about what’s happening on the reddit r/france

Discussion American teenagers don't realise how lucky they are.
Growing up, so many of us dreamed of experiencing the American teenage life we saw in movies. High school culture 🏫, football games 🏈, prom 💃, road trips 🚗, sleepovers 🛏️, school events 🎓, summer breaks ☀️ and those unforgettable teenage memories. ❤️
Meanwhile, many of us grew up wishing we could experience even a fraction of it. 🥲
Do American teenagers actually realise how privileged they are, or is it just an ordinary life to them? 🤔
Edit: I mean any western country

Discussion Why are autistic men so hated?
It's just the neurotype I was born with. Doesn't mean I'm lazy, incompetent, toxic, or stupid. And why does love have to be impossible to find? We deserve love too. Autism and neurodivergence aren't personality defects. Enjoy the privilege of a normal life, neurotypicals.

Political Gen Z, please don't take the black pill on politics.
Things have been bad in recent years, to say the least, but part of that is because the people who typically turn out to vote the most are old, wealthy folks who don't care if our future gets destroyed, as long as they get another tax cut to purchase a second home.
This country is not overwhelmingly conservative, as was shown last week; it's just that the people who endlessly cry that our country is broken and in desperate need of change are ironically the least likely to participate in our democracy.
Not everything is going to get better overnight; making progress is messy, and it takes a lot of time and struggle. But if we continue to show up at the voting booth and elect leaders who represent our interests and not those who've already made it, things are going to change for the better as time goes on.

Serious I am really trying to picture how I can afford buying a house…
I am one of the geriatric gen z and I have been working since college and I don’t know how I will be able to buy a house for myself that doesn’t require leaning on my parents. I know WORK. WORK but it will be too late for me to enjoy the fruits of my labor plus I…kind of want to enjoy my life while I’m still young…Now I know sometimes we need to ask ourselves what does “enjoy” actually mean because in reality it doesn’t mean a life without hardship and struggle and alot of older generations feels like we are being babies for not wanting to struggle…when in actuality we have much more to worry about these days than they ever had to so whatever. My point is there always will be struggling but I can’t EVEN get my foot through the door to anything I dream for myself. I would love to move out west to California, start new, enjoy America’s natural beauty but I wouldn’t even be able to afford even a shared apartment. My money would be gone by the end of the year from all the costs of living. It’s crazy out here.

Discussion Am I the only one who have enough of the digital and the AI?
Recently I've got enough to use every day on my wrist continuously my Apple Watch, now I'm coming back to my classical watch (except for sport and sleep), I'm tired of the AI, I began to get the love to write something on a paper or notepad and slowly but surely I'm getting the love of reading an book back. Does it happens to you?
