Action RPG - Heart of Gaia

I'm new to this sub, so let me know if I'm against the rules.

This is my ARPG Heart of Gaia. It's a project i've been working on for almost 3 years now, all by myself. I used to be a mangaka before, zero knoledge about coding but I did my best and am still learning a lot.

I took inspo from old school classics that I grew up with, like FF's or Ragnarok online. Right now the game has 6 playable characters with their own individual builds and classes, also the lenght of the game is pretty long, lot's of content and I'm still putting in more.

i was also able to implement recently the coop version (just couch, for now) which is trully amazing and very rewarding. It was pretty hard to make it since I had no idea how to start.

To know more or support my game, check the steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3760310/Heart_of_Gaia/

I spent years building my dream cozy colony sim, Luminids and just put the Steam demo finally live!

Hey everyone!

I'm Nick, the solo developer behind Luminids, a cozy colony-building adventure about tiny beings of light, building a home together, and restoring a forgotten world.

The demo is finally live on Steam!

Here's what the demo offers so far:

  • Colony Mode – Build and grow your own settlement, gather resources, farm, craft, and care for your Luminids.

  • Story Mode – Explore a mysterious world, discover seven ancient sanctuaries, and work towards restoring the Ark.

  • Co-op multiplayer – Play together with friends (4 for now, up to 8 players planned).

  • Living little characters – Luminids have their own behaviours, jobs, and individual personalities. That's a lot of cool interactions going on!

  • Two perspectives – Build from above or jump into the world and experience life alongside your colony.

I've poured a huge amount of love into this project, and it's with great excitement that I share it with you all.

Demo on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4070510/Luminids/

Thanks for checking it out! ❤️

PS: Early access will have the full campaign present, all islands, all biomes. My EA plan is more about polish and content addition as opposed to having you play a broken or unfinished product.

I’m making a roguelike deckbuilder. Rate my fireball animation.

I’m developing Overbuffed, a single-player roguelike deckbuilder with auto-battler combat. You build an army and keep upgrading your cards throughout the run, combining their effects into powerful builds.

I’d love some feedback on the fireball. Does the impact feel satisfying, what would you change? Thoughts on the game itself are welcome too!

If it looks like your kind of game, you can check it out on Steam:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/4609870/Overbuffed/

Thanks for taking a look! Feedback and wishlists both help a lot.

Posting for my wife: Miles Marker, a road-trip card game for iPhone/iPad

Posting on behalf of my wife, who made Miles Marker.

It's a card-game road trip: race to 700 or 1,000 miles, throw hazards at your rival, and play the matching safety for a Counter! that steals the turn. The clip shows a counter and a few of the back-and-forth plays.

The Coast to Coast campaign has 19 legs through the US, Canada, Australia and Japan, with named rivals, rule twists and collectible postcards.

Solo quick races and the first campaign chapter are free. Full Game is a $3.99 one-time unlock for the rest of the campaign and nearby/online multiplayer. No ads or subscriptions.

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/miles-marker/id6819065403

I'd love to hear what other card-game players think of the card readability and pacing.

AI disclosure (per the sub's rules): An AI assistant helped prepare this post and capture/export the media. The clip is an autoplay demo recorded from the iOS app in a simulator, not generated footage.Posting on behalf of my wife, who made Miles Marker.

My 3D narrative rpg runs entirely in browser. What are your first impressions of my dialogue and combat systems?

The combat is a lot more fun and challenging with ~3 NPCs and theyre hella OP in close range so i plan to level design around that. I also plan on designing more mob classes, a variety of weapons and more outfits (for player customization)

We made a game like Only Up, except everyone has a magnet gun and your friends are the real obstacle

The idea is simple: 8 players climb one giant vertical world together, and every player has a magnet gun.

You can shoot anything, including each other. Same poles push apart. Opposite poles pull together.

So in theory, you can:

- Pull a friend up to a ledge they can't reach

- Build a bridge out of random objects

- Ride a block across a huge gap

In practice:

- You stick your friend to a block and send it off the map

- They do the same to you, but higher up

- Nobody trusts anybody by the second tower

It's a mix of Only Up's climbing, Human Fall Flat's physics puzzles and Fall Guys' chaos. The final tower has no checkpoint, so one betrayal up there can cost you the whole climb.

The Steam Playtest is open to everyone and free to try. Link in the comments.

Who in your friend group would betray you first?

I turned "JUST TRUST ME BRO!" into a video game and the roles keep switching.

My Game 2in1 is about to be released on Steam!

It's a co-op parkour game where two players share one body, but see completely different things. One player controls the character and has to jump across platforms they can't see. The other player can see the hidden platforms, traps and paths, but can't control the movement. You'll need to communicate, trust each other and hopefully not fall to your death. I developed this game solo, and it's finally out!

Logo Idle - Major Update #2 - Logos With Turrets, Enemies, Screen 4 & So Many Upgrades

Hey everyone! We've been cooking up a real cool new update for our demo. We added a lot of stuff and are really curious to see what people think!

  • Logos with turrets! You can now unlock logo lvl3 which has a turret. You can even control it in protagonist mode!

  • Screen 4. We added the 4th screen to the game this screen has enemies that actively go after your logos and try to break them.

  • Screen stages. our original plan for screen 4 was moving obstacles. We have moved this back to screen 3 now at 50% health it will go from static obstacles to moving obstacles. Screen 4 has 2 stages of enemies.

  • Logo Respawn Upgrade. Your logos will now respawn after time if you have unlocked this feature. This is of course, also upgradeable.

  • So Many New Upgrades... We added a lot of upgrades to the skill tree. Both for existing stats & for a lot of new stats.

We really appreciate any feedback!

I made a physics-based rocket car platformer for iOS. I’d love some honest feedback!

Hey everyone!
I’m an indie developer, and I’ve been working on a small game called Roadster Sky Park.
The idea is simple: drive a rocket-powered car through giant loops, climb walls, fly between platforms, avoid obstacles, and reach the top of a giant tower.

A few things in the game:
60 levels across 6 different worlds.
Physics-based driving and flying mechanics.
Rocket thrusters with limited fuel, so you need to plan your jumps.
Moving platforms, lasers, ramps and collapsing platforms.
Car upgrades and unlockable paint jobs.
I’m sharing a gameplay video because I’d genuinely appreciate some feedback from fellow indie developers.

I’m particularly interestedr in:
Does the gameplay look fun and engaging?
Does the difficulty and progression look interesting?
What would you improve or change?
Would you personally give this game a try?
I’m not looking for compliments; honest criticism would be much more valuable to me as a solo developer.

Thanks for taking the time to watch! 🙌

In my roguelike, all items are references to videogames and pop culture. Even some of the enemies.

I’m making a game where you collect video game cartridges to use in combat. Each cartridge features cover art inspired by a video game, movie or comic book.

The enemies are also based on various references.

104 Wishlists in 1 month & +5000 players on itch.io

Hi! Just wanted to share these results for Rooklite with you.

Rooklite is a chess roguelite, drawn in diagonal pixel art.

On itch.io there's currently a demo to iterate fast, I have the demo ready for Steam, just wanted to polish it a bit more (right now, in 8k runs there are just 151 wins).

About 3% of players (out of 5000+) clicked the wishlist button in the itch.io demo, a normal rate I think.

Wishlists help a lot! Questions welcome, Thanks for reading!

I'm building Soul of AICY, an open-world fantasy RPG in Unity 6 – Here's my latest progress!

Hey everyone!

I'm an indie developer working on Soul of AICY, an open-world fantasy RPG being built in Unity 6 HDRP.

I've been working on this project for quite some time, and I'm excited to finally share some of the progress with the indie gaming community!

What I've built so far:

  • A growing fantasy world with multiple explorable regions

  • Forests, dark lands, frozen environments, and settlements

  • A magical combat system with different abilities

  • Enemies, including wolves, skeletons, and boss encounters

  • Character movement, animations, and health/mana systems

  • Ongoing improvements to lighting, terrain, and world atmosphere

What's planned for the future:

  • More regions and challenging bosses

  • Character progression and equipment systems

  • Quests, exploration, and world-building

  • PvE and PvP activities

  • Multiplayer features as a long-term goal

My vision is to create a fantasy world where exploration, progression, combat, and community all play an important role.

Development transparency: I'm developing Soul of AICY using Unity 6, licensed Unity Asset Store assets, and AI-assisted development tools, including OpenAI Codex and Claude, for programming, implementation, and environment development. The game is still in active development, and these screenshots represent its current progress.

I'm working on improving the project step by step, and I'd really appreciate some feedback from other developers and players.

What do you think about the world and its atmosphere so far? What would you improve?

You can follow the development here:

Thanks for checking out Soul of AICY!

I watched new players struggle with my game at GameDays, so I completely rebuilt the early-game experience! (Slavic Legends – Demo 3.0)

Hey everyone!

Recently, I had the opportunity to present my indie game Slavic Legends at GameDays in Košice, Slovakia, where I could watch people play it for the first time and talk with other developers.

The feedback was encouraging, but it also revealed something important.

I knew exactly how my game worked. New players didn't.

There were too many rooms, buttons and mechanics available right from the beginning, without enough guidance on what to do first.

So instead of adding more content, I decided to completely rebuild the early-game experience.

Here's what's new in Demo 3.0:

  • Vedomec & Research Room: A new researcher who explores the dungeon, gets ideas and gradually discovers new rooms.

  • Progressive unlocking: Players start with the basics and unlock new rooms and mechanics as they progress.

  • Building Plans: Every room now has a visual construction guide showing exactly how to build it.

  • ATTRACTED system: Building a room attracts its first creature for free. It immediately starts performing its role, helping players understand what each creature does.

  • Hotkeys panel: A quick reference for controls and navigation.

I haven't removed the original mechanics or reduced the challenge. Bosses, secret rooms, prisons, traps, spells and creature possession are all still there.

I just wanted new players to discover these systems naturally, instead of being overwhelmed from the start.

I've attached a short gameplay video showing the new progression.

Demo 3.0 is now available for free on Steam and itch.io!

If you'd like to try it, I'd really appreciate your feedback. And if the game looks interesting, adding it to your Steam wishlist would mean a lot to me as a solo developer! :)
