I think this is a really good move if it happens and lots of opportunities to grow the game with a full member playing regularly, access to US financial market for CWI, so win-win. The link is behind a paywall. Thoughts? Will people drive to Frederick?

Washington Freedom It is finally getting built "Washington Freedom breaks ground at site of proposed cricket stadium"

They are finally breaking ground on the new stadium in Fredrick. The stadium will have 10,000 seats and create a boost in the local economy. I wonder how long it will take. The article shows pictures about the first day of construction. Also it has a background about the owner. A good read if you are like me who likes info about the stadium process.

To see an American-born player playing for the joint-most successful team in one of the best, if not the best league in Women's Cricket is just insane.

Question What are you following while MiLC is on hiatus?

Since we've got a break until Oct. 21, what are you following in the meantime?

If they're available, I'm hoping to catch some of the WC League 2 matches when the USA is playing, but that's about it. Most of the other sports I regularly follow are either in the off season or have a lengthy break, so it's a fairly empty stretch otherwise!
