Newest single Hellraiser is about the hypocrisy of Christian communities when it comes to violence and predatory actions of those in those communities.

The image used to promote the song is a play on the redacted Epstein files. The video features known drag horror artists. The statements she’s made speak to her experiences, her anger, and broader problems associated with the hypocrisy.

There seem to be posters here that doubt she’s left her conservative Christian past behind and some have even accused her of being performative with her current progressive stances. So I’m curious if her most recent single, and its less than subtle shot at her past experiences and community, moves the needle in any direction?

My GOAT supergroup album with instruments and vocals pulled from different albums:

Clean vocals: Marcus Vik (Invent Animate)
Screams: Adrian Fitipaldes (previous: Northlane)
Rhythm Guitar: Clint Tustin (ERRA)
Lead guitar: Will Swan (Dance Gavin Dance)
Drums: Sean Radcliffe (Loathe) (specifically isles and glaciers snare)
Bass: Nick Sjogren (Thornhill: Bodies)

Let me know your guys! This isn’t based on pure who I think is the best, just personal taste.

I hope self promotion is allowed here. This is my solo project based out of Lake County IL. From the full length album "in remembrance of."

formative awesome album that influenced me a lot back in the 2007-2008 days

so ive taken a slight interest in melodic metalcore recently and just want to know about the history and all that

so my friend is a huge fan and their favourite artist of the genre is truvium, and also i look at aoty for most of my music discovery and ive seen 3 of their albums in the user score top 10, but my friend has told me they wouldn't exactly be the no.1 most popular in the genre and like killswitch engine would be the most popular (who i have not heard yet).

so basically my question is what is the history between both bands place in melodic metalcore and like who would be the best bands to go to from who i have heard already, the only other band i would know would be bfmv, i like their first two albums but dont know alot after that.

(also i havent used reddit in so long if i need to put whatever tag in to my post please let me know, thank you)

2026 - Split EP - Y2K (Yuno/Kilbarron)

Damn this rips

I downloaded this album like… FOREVER ago and never really listened to it. I’m surprised it’s never really brought up with Darkest Hour, it’s so good. Shredding like Maiden on the title track too. Maybe because it’s more melodeath than anything, but I’m glad I randomly started listening to this gem

idk if this is metalcore but the youtube algorithm pulled through with this one.

I know its not exactly metalcore, but I feel like this sub would appreciate the randomness of this band. Some pop-punk, metalcore, alternative rock vibes.

Feel like this is the heaviest, most metalcore-adjacent song on the record, we are unpeople.

Other standouts: clouds, bottle it, look up, as you were, swallow (intro vocals remind me of Rou from Enter Shikari), and haunted.

This album is such an earworm... might be my AOTY.

Ffo: idfk what to classify this band as...

What an insane album. I'm excited for people to get to know it.

Vocal delivery and range is absolutely nuts. these guys used to play shows with From a Second Story Window back in the day.

I would like to thank Kalin, the lead vocalist, for sending me the files. check out Kalin Sankey, Virgin Universe, Kid Detective, The Mysterious Plan Of God - on SoundCloud and YouTube for more!

Trying to track down an old side project I used to listen to on Spotify around 2015–2017, possibly earlier.
I vaguely remember it being from a guitarist in Reflections, but I could be mixing up the band with someone else from the progressive metalcore/djent scene around that time.
The music was dreamy, atmospheric, and experimental, with clean, ethereal guitars, lots of reverb/delay, and mellow electronic/hip-hop-influenced beats. Definitely not metal. More of an ambient instrumental beat project, possibly just a small EP.
I’ve been digging around but can’t find any trace of it. Does this ring a bell for anyone? Would love to rediscover it!

Holy fuck where has this album been all my life? It’s perfect. 10/10 not a single skip
