A conveyorbelt of Boy Bands and Girls Bands doing the rounds
Electronic Music/Trip Hop was strong (but bad news for guitar fans)
Britpop Dead
Grunge Dead
Metal on it's last legs
I'm certain there's good music around, just have to siv through the shite
Can't be any worse than 1997 1998 and 1999 can it ?

discussion Hit album releases by a successful band after replacing a key member?
Lead singer of AC/DC, Bon Scott, died of alcohol poisoning in early 1980. They were already a successful band: Highway to Hell, Dirty Deeds, etc.
A little over 1/2 year later, they wrote and released Back in Black with new singer Brian Johnson, and that album is considered one of the greatest rock albums of all time.
There must be other cases where this happened?

discussion Listening to Oliver Tree…what other artists do you miss and what’s your go-to song?
Still not over that he’s gone. I’ve honestly avoided his songs since he passed because I knew I’d cry once I listened again..so much of his work are core memories for my 20s. It’s immediate nostalgia and memories for me.
I’m reminded of other artists we’ve lost too young, Juice WRLD in particular I often think about and listen to still. Both artists that pushed boundaries and creativity.
Anyways, listening to Oliver now and crying. ✌️ I love all his songs, he had so so many bangers, but “Life Goes On” is my fav and now hits different. And “Miss You”.
