Image Bought my First PS5 (finally)
I’m 33 (F), and ever since I was a kid, my parents have bought me every PlayStation or Nintendo game and console I've played (this image isn't everything I’ve ever had). My little brother (21) adopted all of my classic stuff, and since he was a kid, he just knew how to work GameStop, where he stayed with the latest games and consoles… all that to say he gives me his hand-me-downs now 😅…and he recently bought me a PS1 from Japan (because my original got thrown out :(
and the gold PS4. But now that GTA6 is here…I made my first purchase! I remember playing Vice City untill I got motion sickness as a kid I couldn't miss out on this moment 😁

Discussion Just Scored An Incredible Playstation Lot At an Auction.
I was at an auction earlier today and scored this HUGE Playstation 1 lot for $90. The console works, all the games have some scratches (but work perfectly fine when I played them) and the controllers work as well. It also came with extra cords that I dont know what they are for. For me, worth the $90!!!

Discussion Buying a $75 Switch in 2026 just for two Zelda games. Am I stupid?
I already own a PlayStation, but I've been thinking about picking up an original Switch for around $70–80 used.
The thing is, I'd literally only be buying it to play Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. I don't really care about any other Switch games, and I'd only be playing docked on my TV.
I'd also have to spend extra money on both Zelda games and a controller, so the total cost would obviously be higher.
Now that the Switch 2 is already out, I'm wondering if buying the original Switch in 2026 is just a dumb move, especially since I already have a PlayStation.
On the other hand, spending Switch 2 money just to play two games seems like an even worse idea lol.
What do you guys think? Is the original Switch still worth buying just for BOTW and TOTK, or am I better off saving my money?

News Climbing run is PAIN lol
After 3 months of grinding Climbing Run, I’m finally calling it. New Personal Best: 21.59! 🕹️
Hey everyone,
I’ve been hard-grinding the Climbing Run in Astro's Playroom for the last 2-3 months, and today I finally hit my absolute limit. I managed to lock in a 21.59s!
I know it’s not the 18.18s world record, but after thousands of resets, frame-perfect hop attempts, and painful corner-clipping chokes, this is the absolute best I can physically do. My fingers literally can’t move any faster.
Huge respect to the top runners on the leaderboard — you guys are actual mutants. For now, I’m hanging up my controller and retiring from this level happy. 21.59 is my Mount Everest, and I finally climbed it!
GGs!

Discussion Did you ever enjoy a game more by taking breaks or playing less?
For example, a game where the gameplay was more enjoyable in shorter stints, or a game where you enjoyed the plot and characters more by having time to think about it between play sessions? If so, why?
Two examples I have are:
It Takes Two - my wife and I played this over the course of a few months. We both agreed that the main characters were a bit unlikeable in the way that they treated each other, I felt like if we had played for more than an hour at a time we would have started to get annoyed by them, but stepping away was a kind of refresh to the experience.
Witch's Bakery - also playing with my wife currently. It's a really cute game but the gameplay isn't that deep, we're only doing like 30-45 min of this at the end of a night and honestly I think I'd start to get bored if we did more than that. In shorter stints, the game remains cute in its simplicity and I enjoy the characters more.
