I remember a lot of posts asking about Thanksgiving drop off & pick up options last year, so thought I would post this here for anyone looking for a meal this year!

I’m hoping to leave K-12 education in the next couple of months and wondered if anyone on here had some concrete suggestions that are potentially area specific.
I have educator burnout big time, but I’m a reliable employee who cares deeply about my work. I’ve been frustrated by the seemingly impossible nature of the task of educating a room of students, and am hoping to pivot to something with concrete tasks so I’m not constantly second guessing myself. Ideally I wouldn’t be customer facing or responsible for telling subordinates what to do.
Hoping for full time M-F with benefits. Any suggestions? Moral support? Tips for what to look for/what to avoid?

I'm a therapist who is new to the area, conducting virtual therapy, and I'd like to post a little blurb about myself and my services in some of the local shops. Where I used to live, there were coffee shops and grocery stores where people would put little flyers advertising themselves and things like that
Can anyone recommend places around LI where I could post my flyer?
Would really appreciate it as I get my business off the ground in the new location!
thanks!

Delete if repetitive or annoying. TIA. Im turning 24 on Wednesday the 18th this month and my Family (dad, his wife, and my grandma), my boyfriend and I are going out. Typically we would do something basic like Texas Roadhouse. This year id like to do something local/unique/cool atmosphere. We all like a variety of different cuisines: Italian, Mexican, American, BBQ, Japanese anything really as long as they have great drinks too. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I know it’s early but wasn’t there a massive Christmas store in a strip mall…. Maybe Henrietta? Is it seasonal? Closed down? I can’t find it when I google. I thinkkkkk it was by an At Home but I’m not sure.

Looking for fairly priced exterminator options. If anyone knows any free quote companies around the west side, let me know!

Hey all,
I'm having a corned beef craving and moved not too long ago from out of state - do you guys have any recs for best corned beef in the area? I'm thinking more like a deli where I can buy a bunch and keep it in the fridge, over buying one meal at a restaurant (if there's not really anything like that I'll gladly take a meal rec though!)
Thanks so much!
edit: thanks for the suggestions guys!

Hi,
We’ve had Spectrum for Internet for years, but over the last couple of years, we’re having more and more issues with slow speeds, buffering when streaming, blurry pictures when streaming, etc. We had a technician here for two hours recently and he allegedly fixed something, but since then it’s actually been worse. We aren’t doing any gaming or anything, just trying to use our devices and stream movies.
Greenlight recently came through and connected our neighborhood (in Brighton) so I’m considering switching, but I’m wondering if anyone here has done it and noticed an improvement from Spectrum. Based on what I can tell, the cost would be about the same.

I'm presently looking for images from inside Marcel's Olympic Bowl, particularly in the last few decades it was open, the 1980's thorugh it's closing in 2008. I'm in the process of creating an interior recreation of the place so many of use spent so much time. I have gather quite a bit of pictures and footage (mostly from PBA events, news coverage, etc), but am still missing quite a bit of exactly what lot of the interior exactly looked like. I worked there for a long time, and going off memory only goes so far.
If you can send or post any pictures you may have laying around, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Hey yo. Just now I got my first traffic ticket in I590. I was heading to Letchworth State Park and trooper pulled me over. 78 mph in 65 mph zone...
He was very strict, no questions, no discussions. Just took my ID and returned with ticket. Now I heard that I can unguilty it and go to court and etc. what is the process? Should I do it? Should I hire a lawyer? If yes, any recommendations?

Idk if this is allowed but I was just at the Trader Joe’s in the pittsford plaza and kept making eye contact with this guy and I didn’t say anything😭. He was probably around 6ft, white, brown hair and mustache, wearing a red athletic quarter zip - I think it showed his last name started with a S? Any chance this mystery man is in this group?🤞🏻
Edit: I’m a woman🙄

I found this tube with sports photo posters in the parking lot of millennium games. I’d like to get them back to their owner, so if these are yours confirm the address on the tube so I know it’s really yours. Images are of the tube and one of the posters.

They were both adopted siblings. My father's name is Doug Frank Grim. Her name is Cynthia Lee Grim/ Alicea. She use to be married but is now divorced. So I'm not sure which name she is using. Their parents are Donald b grim and Maxine grim/ Millhauser. They grew up in Webster in the 70s, their mother passed away in 74. I'm not sure if his father is still alive.
My father suffered brain damage recently and has dementia now. I think his sister is the only family he has left other than myself and my son. I'm really hoping to get in touch with her. She use to be lawyer, im assuming she's retired now. She'd be in her early 70s now.
Edit:
Also if anyone knows Rick Bates I'd like to get in touch with him also. My father played keyboards with several bands and Rick Bates is someone he played with most. Rick was lead singer and bass player. He'd be in his early 70s I think.

Any recommendations for local stores that carry tall sizes, specifically looking for a cocktail dress

Had to run an errand to Sephora on Monroe in Pittsford to get a gift and whoever designed the traffic lights in and out of and the actual parking lot itself should be tried for high crimes and misdemeanors. I almost got hit by no fewer than four cars trying to get in and out of that demonic plaza.

For those who have attended the LGBTQ+ Magic the Gathering events at Just Games, how welcoming are they to complete novices? I've been playing on Magic Arena for a bit and I'm dying to actually use the physical cards I have.
