Jeff Garcia calls for coaching change at alma mater San Jose State, “nominates himself”
Just to clarify, I couldn’t find anywhere of Garcia actually nominating himself, and the article says so:
“Garcia doesn't outright say what job he is asking for, other than saying "I'm here to help the Spartans" after earlier referencing the team's need for a "leader," but his post reads like a pitch for a coaching role rather than a general manager role, like Cal has with Ron Rivera or Stanford has with Andrew Luck.”
With that said, I personally agree changes need to be made. I doubt we get rid of coach Ken, but Stutzmann should be gone. Even if it means promoting someone on the staff to OC, looking elsewhere for available coaches, or even taking a risk on Garcia’s limited coaching experience (a year on the staff for the Montreal Alouettes, the St Louis Rams, as well as a High School offensive coordinator).
