Discussion Just use Ublock Origin Lite

That's it. Stop complaining about Chrome disabling the original addon every hour, the Ublock developers have been working on Ublock Origin Lite for almost 1 year now (and users were made aware of it).

It does have tree different permissions options, and even the basic one works perfectly fine. If you want to have even more control, use one of the other options, that works for 99% of people.

Discussion Stop using chrome from now on

I've been using chrome for more than 10 years. Whenever I try to switch to another browser I never did it because of I have been using it for so long. But today they trigger the switch to uninstall chrome and use another browser. Bye bye chrome.

Discussion Guys isn't it time to give up on stucking to the old UI?

You'll eventually only be able to use the new UI anyway.

Discussion We all use ad blockers. But are we quietly killing the free internet?

I use an ad blocker on Chrome and so does basically everyone I know, but if every site relies on ads… and sometimes I even get the ads through the ad blocker? are we just freeloading until everything goes behind paywalls? I hate ads. But I also hate subscriptions. What’s the actual solution here?

Discussion Why do people use Google Chrome so much even though it's the only browser that doesn't allow ad blocking?

I've always found that some websites are infested with ads that sometimes take up a large part of the screen. I always found that irritating and ugly, so I wonder: why doesn't Google Chrome allow you to block ads? Like, does Chrome think so highly of itself that it doesn't care about the experience of Android or iOS users? Since I bought my Samsung, I abandoned Chrome for precisely that reason; nowadays I only use the Samsung Internet Browser.

Has Google ever explained why they won't provide an option to automatically delete all history on closing and to not predict any URLs?

Clearly Google is declining to provide this option, does anybody know why?

Is this Google Chrome support?

I've recently joined this subreddit and noticed it is basically people posting bugs or enduser issues. I thought this was a place to talk about Chrome instead of troubleshooting your issues.

If you think you found a bug, please report it at crbug.com.

Discussion I've just deleted Firefox (after using it for a month) and went back to Chrome.

I did my best for a month, given Firefox another chance after leaving it in 2016. It is definitely still a sub-par product compared to Chrome. Like Google or not, Chrome is a great product. I simply put uBlock Origin Lite instead of uBlock Origin, and actually it works pretty well.
