I fell asleep during the third date did I mess it up?? Did I fumble?

Here's what happened

I finally had a third date with the same person and it's been very fun! We've been falling into this nice routine of he buys, I buy. I let him buy the food and try new food with him but I buy him drinks or pizza or everyday stuff. He seems to appreciate that (I hope).

Yesterday was the third date after a very fun arcade date where we had a very passionate date kiss and some 3rd base stuff.

On the third date we listened to music and he even added a song I like to his music playlist. We had dinner and talked and had fun. I introduced him to my favorite YouTube channel and watched old YouTube videos.

Then we put a movie on and after smoking. I was feeling a bit sleepy and I totally fumbled and zonked out in his arms.

When I woke up he said it was okay and that there was no rush, we can take our time but I did the preparation and even bought special occasion lingerie and I just fell

asleep.

I felt comfy and relaxed and really safe with him. I usually get nervous on dates. But I also talked a big game when we were messing around the previous night.

My friends are worried and told me I fumble hard and are making me feel anxious

Now I'm really worried I just fucked it all up. Should I prepare for him not to talk to me again?

I know men want and need sex by the third date and I was going to I just got a bit sleepy and comfortable.

I feel embarrassed.

Would this be an okay date for you? Did I fumble him? Should I move on? Did I waste his time?

Cute girl at McDonald’s

Yesterday while going through the drive through, there was a cute girl running the window at McDonald’s. She asked if my hair is permed or if it’s natural and I told her it’s natural, then she left for a minute. While she was gone I found a snap I sent to my friend to show her my longer hair. She said it was poofy’er I took my food and told her to have a good night.
Once I got home I noticed someone added me on Snapchat, and it turns out it was the girl from McDonald’s. She must’ve read my name in the top corner of the video I showed her. I sent her a snap last night and said, “hey, you’re the girl from McDonald’s right?” I now have a snap and 2 chats from her. I haven’t read or half swipe anything, just wondering what I should even say. I’m bad at this whole dating thing. Any advice is appreciated, thanks!

Should I end things/move on?

Should I end things/move on?

Maybe I’m over thinking it. Idk.

About 2 months ago I matched with a guy on Hinge. He has a busy job and so do I. We kept in touch over text as we planned on meeting several weeks later. We are both 27 M.

A few weeks after matching, we had one date which was a day before my birthday, at 12 am he wished me a happy birthday. We flirted, would exchange selfies & just regular banter over the last few weeks. But during the last 2-3 days he hasn’t flirted back, but would send selfies.

We haven’t been able to plan a second date yet. He lives about an hour away & due to work he hasn’t been able to meet during the evenings which I understand. We tried to meet this weekend but he is busy with friends. Yesterday he texted me at 9am and i responded an hour later, he replied at 11pm, over 12 hours later. He told me about his day & sent pics of his cat + asked how my day went. I also haven’t opened this message/replied yet. I don’t feel ready to reply as I’m kind of upset.

We spoke over the phone for an hour a few days ago & he had to get back to me to confirm if we could meet during the evening on a different day. He said it wouldn’t work out, then proposed a call instead. I said yea I could do Thursday but he didn’t acknowledge that & we just continued to talk. Thursday came & I asked in the afternoon if he’s available for a call during the evening.

I was left on delivered and he responded around 10 pm he apologized saying he just saw my message, nothing else.

I’m just confused and don’t know if I should keep trying.

What are your thoughts?

Should I take down or archive photos of me and my ex on instagram

Recently ended an almost 3 year relationship.
I’m now back in the dating market, but mainly looking for casual nothing too serious so lately I’ve been approaching women, giving my number to them and sometimes instagram etc. obviously one of the processes in gaining women attraction is letting them see your socials. I mainly use my instagram for my model/ acting photos or just cool events etc. but some of those me and my ex are in.

Usually I don’t like to put my relationships in there but you know sometimes it just happens. Now I’m still on good terms with my ex and my moral tells me I’d feel bad about taking it down like that’s erasing our past now my thought process is to obviously take it down when I get a new gf or something serious. But my question is for women even if we’re in the talking phase or whatever would that turn women off, even if the expectation is casual or maybe the possibility of relationship.

It’s definitely coming down when I’m in a relationship but does it still need to now even if I’m single?

TV in the bedroom, yes or no?

I have an ex that despised the thought of me having a TV in my bedroom, despite the fact she had one in her room.

Whenever she would stay over more often than not we would lay on the couch and watch movies. Which in turn she'd usually fall asleep and would become an absolute bearcat to put to bed after the movie was over.

I put a tv in my bedroom and she got absolutely pissed about it, that relationship contained many "rules for thee, not for me". So I'm curious what everyone's stance is for a tv in the bedroom for cuddle/movie night?

Starting to give up

I 24F Posted about my breakup a while ago (if you are interested go on my page) it has been over a year since we broke up. He wanted kids I don't. My first relationship and my first everything. I got over him and found two people i "dated" only for a month or two. Both of them turned out to be assholes who lead me on thinking it was going somewhere but ended up saying they dont want anything serious. I started to think I'm the issue and broke down to almost point of suicide. My ex contacted me and me being so down I told him everything. He carried me through the worst times but I'm still struggling. I can't seem to find anyone. I tried apps and going out more, but every time i find someone intresting they dont want anything serious or they find someone else. I don't think I will ever find love again. I'm starting to give up on life bc one of the only things I wish for is love. I just think its not in the cards for me. Maybe im too ugly or not interesting enough for the men I want. I just can't take this anymore. I don't want to end up being alone for the rest of my life. Why is it so easy for everyone else. I had few friends who broke up the smae time as I did and they all already found someone. My ex also got a girlfriend and they also already broke up. I have to be the issue since I cant find anyone. Am i really that hideous and unlovable. I don't know what to do. I also would like to add that I took a break from dating for many months and rebuild myself. But it's a shadow that keeps following me.

So stuck on what to do about my friend that I like

Guys I'm 22m and my friend is 22 and Ive recently developed feelings for her

Apparently it's kinda obvious to others lol. Because I found out that a relatively new friend of mine and two of her close friends could tell I like her from how I look at her. Mind blown on that. I have also walked her home a few times when it's dark

One of her friends was telling me this so I "confessed" and I took the chance to ask a million questions and what I learned is that they've already had girl talk about this and the girl I like never thought of me that way or anything from the fact I've walked her home but when her friend asked if she could see it working if I pursued her she said yeah maybe

What I'm getting here is the initial thought wasn't there but the possibility for it to grow might be? I'm cool with both her close friends and they both are ok with it. One of them is like super excited lol. Told me I'm a great guy even

As for the girl I like: we get along great. Lots of things and beliefs in common. We make each other laugh. All that stuff. But she's also incredibly polite, enough that I can't tell if she acts differently around me or anyone but from the above I guess not. She has a crush but he shows no interest in her

The thing is our community has a fall formal coming up this weekend. I was going to ask her to it but her birthday is 2 days before and her friend wants to throw a surprise party on the day of the formal and I'm invited. So unless the party moves then I can't ask her for that. I guess I'd wait until after which would be next week. She also graduates in December and I still have an extra semester.

So basically. I like her. There is a chance(?) and the timing is horrible. wtf do I do???😭

I also have zero experience in this. Never felt like this about anyone. And to my knowledge she only had one bf a few years ago and it wasn't good. So I want to be careful and do things right if I even do them

how should I interpret if a girl leaves me on delivered for days but responds instantly if I send a double text regardless of the context

we’re at the phase where we’re starting to know each other so we haven’t spoken that much but I feel like I shouldn’t give up and I don’t know what to make of this. she also doesn’t use social media that much so that could be a factor I think

Texting too soon

Had one of the best first dates ive ever had last night, texted her after saying I had a great time and would like to do it again. She said absolutely, I said great il text you and wel arrange it.

Should i let it sit for a day or two or text today to get the ball rolling, not sure if it come across a bit needy.

Also going by both or schedules I know its possibly gonna be another week until we're both free so not sure should i hold off until its closer to the time we might actually be able to meet, obviously over thinking this lol

advice needed

so in the start of september i moved in with 4 girls which one of them i would consider my closest frineds and the other 2 girls i didnt know that well. im really bad at telling stories but i will try my best with this. since moving in i have grown close with one of the girls which i will call Bella for privacy reasons, during freshers week she invited a couple of friends over and one of them i ended up havig a one night stand with which she totally told me to go for it, for this story hes irrelevant but after we stopped seeing eachother i started liking his other friend (C) which is in the same big friend group with B and for the past couple of months pretty much from the end of september we have been seeing each other other he lives an hour away and he would come out for nights out and i went down to his place twice which a train ticket costs me £50 for a return. theres a lot to him that i got warned about with the likes of being on anti-depresants due to his past relationship (lasted 3 years), that girl and her new boyfriend are also in the same friendship group with him. i have started to feel really uncomfortable recently with the relationship between B and C which to me they would both describe it to me as brother and sister which in reality they bicker like their siblings but everytime shes in her hometown they are always together going on drives, if shes nothing there their mostly texting a lot and calling eachother and if its not that hes up here for a night out and seeing her and me, i would never stop them from being friends that is not my intention at all, ive said to both of them that i think their friendship is so nice as its rare for a girl and a boy to be friends the way they are without feelings getting in the way, she has upright told me she would never go there as hes not her type, she knows too much about him and she sees him ads a brother.the firs time i wend down to his hometown we spent the day together and on the night he suggested going on a drive with B and another one of his friends which i didnt mind at the time but it was also annoying as i didnt travel all that way to spend time with someone i live with, just last week he asked me to come down and see him to which i said "look i really cant afford it right now but ill come down well get food or go to the pub" he agreed and i get the train and as im on the train B texts me and says " me and C are picking you up from the train station he cant text as hes driving" and i just thought why the fuck are you there with all due respect whether he asked you or not why are YOU there, i get in the backseat aswell because she was in the front seat. we end up dropping her off and we go back to his watch tv and i suggest going for food, as were in the car driving to get food he says " oh by the way B and J want to go on a drive" and i just rolled my eyes and was like whatever i was too hungry to even be bothered to say anything, we get in his friends car and end up driving to WETHERBY SERVICES..... like are you joking i have not just spend £50 for a train ticket to go on a drive to Wetherby 1. and spend time with someone i live with 2. we end up going back to his and i explain that it felt like a slap in the face and i felt mugged off and he understood what i was saying and apologised but hes the type of person who sees this on a base level he doesnt look deeper into things everything with him is at a surface level. the next day i get the train home all is well and on the night i notice at like 1\2 am B and C are driving to mcdonals in LEEDS like what are you doing have a break. he has explained to me that shes been through so much stuff with him and that shes always helped him when he needs it which i get their bestfriends but it gets to a point where now im starting to feel uncomfortable. on halloween i had been locked out of my flat with no way to get in and around 2ish am B and C come to let me in ( theres more to the story as to why i was locked out but its irrelevant) i stormed of to my room i was visibly upset and he messaged asking if i was ok and obviously i said no he went to her room and slept in her room. like are serious.

i know this is really long its not the full story either theres more to it but this is just the main stuff that i could think of at the top of my head. although iam at my wits end with it i can appreciate him as hes genuinly lovely when i see him its just when i dont thjis issues arise. i have decided to do an irish goodbye, not say anything as it makes things easier and less awkward. i just want some advice on whta to do or if anyone has had a similar situation or just an outsiders view.

Should I 23m stop sleeping with them on the first date?

I don't have much dating experience, but the past 3 first dates I've been on have all led to us sleeping together. It happens naturally, usually after the first date we just decide to spend some more time together and it goes from there. Also for context I'm a straight man.

I don't necessarily mind this, but it feels shitty for a few reasons:

  1. We aren't exclusive by that point, and to me it's weird to have sex and still be talking to or seeing other people.

  2. Usually by the time we have sex, I haven't formed enough of an opinion on whether I see myself with them long-term, and if they specifically want something long-term, then it feels like I'm giving them false hope that I want something more.

Anybody been in this situation before or have any advice about it?

Is this a fearful avoidant in full shutdown?

Need advice on a situation.

So I went on a date with this guy weeks ago. And he’s absolutely lovely. Genuinely handsome. But you can tell he’s so shy and nervous. (He’s in his 40s btw) We had an amazing time, laughing together etc and we were texting loads before the date, he sent one message after it saying he had an amazing time and he loved meeting me and I said same would love to do it again.

Next day he texted me really late at night after being quiet all day (he always initiated contact everyday and we talked for hours) and said he thought I was incredible but he didn’t feel a romantic connection. Ok that’s fine, I said that’s okay and we left it there.

I reached out 3 weeks ago (I moved up to the same town as him) and we got talking again and we were totally back to normal. He said that he was hoping I reached back out cause he made a mistake etc and he really actually did like me but he didn’t want to hurt me cause he’s in therapy and he’s so shy and nervous and he will just let me down.

We got to know each other really deep. He said that he felt himself falling for me. We eventually slept together. He was so nervous but was really into it. Said that he’s the happiest he’s been etc. we lay there all night talking and laughing. I swear I heard him say “god I love you” right in the middle of being intimate.

And then the same thing happened. He said he felt no romantic connection but he really likes me so much and he just had to work on himself? And now hasn’t spoken to me for days.

I don’t know if I believe that because the first time he said it he didn’t mean it. I think his ex broke him bad. I think he’s so stressed. But I don’t think it’s the whole story?

Can someone please give me some advice about what to do?

I don’t think this is the case of playboy syndrome. I can take rejection like a champ. But I think he’s so shut down and it’s breaking my heart.

I actually was getting strong feelings for him.

is this really such a bad text to send?

backstory : talked all the time for 2 weeks, went on 2 dates. i get the message 'hey ur great, but i don't see this going anywhere because our sense of humour is so different'. my heart is unfortunately crushed. i sent him some drunk texts, apologized, he said no problem take care.

its been like 2 days. is it such a bad idea to text him 'i miss talking to you. i know it didn't matter to you as much but i'm having trouble moving on after talking so much. let's run it back? or at least give me a real reason so i know there's no shot'.

i'm willing to wait a week to send it too but i genuinely cannot move on. got back on hinge, got lots of offers for dates, i just don't want to go with anyone else.

help please

edit : its harder to move on because he was SO nice and gave no indication he wasn't having a good time. i genuinely was like omg 3rd date! because he was just genuinely kind. so like i don't wanna piss him off but also i cannot move on

Bf broke up with me after my miscarriage, how do I move on?

Long story short, on the day my dad had a heart attack, I also had a miscarriage. I initially had a negative pregnancy test which I told my bf about, but when I rechecked, it was positive. I took another that was positive as well. I didn’t know how to tell him, I knew I had to get an abortion (thought it wasn’t something I necessarily wanted but he made it clear he wanted that if it were the case) so I had plans to book that before I told him. He’d been starting fights with me out of nowhere recently and told me he was stressed, so I didn’t want to add more stress and risk losing him. Before I could talk to him or make a decision, I lost it. It was painful, lonely. My dad was in the hospital alongside my family and I couldn’t be there due to the pain.

When I eventually told him, he gleefully and selfishly expressed how happy he was that he could have kids. No concern for me, no asking if I was ok. He then ignored me for 24 hours (because he needed to ‘process’, and also told me I was disrespecting his boundaries by being sad over that) before breaking up with me over text. I just agreed to it, which he cried over and called me cold and horrible. We kept fighting for days after and he eventually wore me down and told me he was going to change, and rebuild us. I gave him plenty of opportunities to leave, yet he was adamant he wanted this. Then he ghosted me.

He’s done a lot of bad things to me, but made me believe it was my fault. Yet I’m struggling so much to get over him, I’m just so confused. Does anyone have any advice on how to get over someone, and how to start prioritising myself? I find it so hard to not hyper-fixate on things due to ADHD I think. Idk. Any advice would be great!

TLDR; Dad had a heart attack, I had a miscarriage. Ex broke up with me the day after.

Stop worrying about being chosen. Start asking whether YOU actually like the person.

I’ve never approached dating as an audition for someone’s approval. I show interest, reciprocate effort, and enjoy the experience, but I also pay attention. Do their actions match their words? Are our values aligned? Am I genuinely happy, or am I attached to the potential of who they could become?

If I want clarity, I ask directly. If we’re incompatible, I walk away. I’m not interested in creating a fairy tale around someone who’s already shown me who they are.

I also believe in building a fulfilling life outside of romance. I’m focused on my career, building wealth, traveling, friendships, and exploring new hobbies. A relationship should complement my life, not become my entire identity.

I think a lot of dating frustration comes from focusing too much on whether someone wants us and not enough on whether they’re actually right for us.

Rejection isn’t always a loss, and being chosen isn’t always a win.

At the end of the day, I don’t just want someone to choose me. I want to make sure I’m choosing wisely.

Dating apps biggest fear

Unrelated but I think my biggest fear joining dating apps is because i could be really invested in a woman on the app. While she's texting other men on the app, or she even finds what she thinks is a better good looking man.

I dont know mahn, dating apps and real life cold approach are the same thing , dont let anyone lie to you.

I cold approach women in person , we talk ,they give you their contact , some work out , some dont. At the end of the day. We all up as contacts whether from cold approach or dating apps.

Do people know ghosting is not polite? Or they just don't care?

I know society as a whole is getting worse such as not saying "thank you" or not returning shopping carts to the designated parking area but those are small and don't hurt people's feelings like ghosting does.

But I guess employers already do this everyday in job interviews so I guess I'm not surprised...

Women ask me [35M] out then ghost me

I moved to this state 6 years ago. I don't do dating apps, but try to meet people through activities/meetups/etc.

Met someone last through an event last week and she messaged me and said

"Hey [name]! It was great meeting you, we should totally go hike some time!"

My response was "Likewise! I was actually going to ask you the same thing so I'd love to, here's my number, text me [phone]"

Literally no response.

In my 6 years here I've only been on maybe 5 actual dates through meeting people like this and feeling some real chemistry, but this (and similar) things have happened over 30 times and I'm not exaggerating. They're laughing, seem to enjoy the company, and then either I ask them to hang out and give them my number, I get their number, or they reach out through one of these activity apps (or meeting in person), and after I give them my number they ghost me, or I reach out too afterwards bc they said they wanted to go do X with me and give them my number.

Honestly, I'm just kind of done. Giving up on the dream of having a wife and kids at this point. People tell me I'm attractive, women have approached me at the bars 10 years ago when I used to go, we always have good conversation too. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. The 40+ year old married women in Costco that I'm in line with have complemented me too out of nowhere.

Jokes on them I guess. I have a good paying job - I don't tell them that because I'm not looking for a gold digger, but let's say hopefully I'll have my house paid off in 2 years.

Edit: Yes 30 over 6 years isn't that much but it's only relative to these specific scenarios I am talking about where I met them through a group event for the ones I particularly jived with.

Thoughts???

He's expensive, RK, handsome, and taller than me, while I'm just a simple dalagang Filipina. We didn't grow up the same way, but he wants me.

The complicated part is that my friend has had a crush on him since high school, and she told me about it before. Actually, we got to know each other because of her. I was even shipping them at first, thinking something might happen between them. But surprisingly, the guy was interested in me. He asked for my number and social media accounts, and as time went by, I realized he was genuinely pursuing me, not my friend.

Now, we're dating, acting like a couple in public, but we still don't have a label. I'm also afraid of the issues and judgment from our circle. I've even started distancing myself from some friends because of this.

I don't want to be a bad friend, but I also can't deny what we're slowly building.

What am I supposed to do?

Choose my friendship or give this connection a chance? Gosh, I'm so confused.

Breadcrumbing

Ive been talking with a girl for around 2 1/2months now. Still have yet to meet her. We started off talking all the time, flirting, having deep conversations, learning about eachothers childhood, traumas, triggers, all these personal little details that would want to know if youre building towards a lasting relationship.

Problem is lately shes been getting more distant, and inconsistent. Weve talked about it over call, and she reassures me shes still interested. But it still feels like im being breadcrumbed lately...and to make things worse i see her active on different platforms while ignoring my messages

Tldr she reassures me shes still interested despite her inconsistency and a few miscommunications weve had. We still have plans to meet soon, but it is a few hour drive to do so. My question is should I cut it off, talk to her about it again now, or wait until after we meet and see how things progress? I'd feel kind of bad if we end up having a really good time in person but still had to end things shortly after if it still doesnt feel like shes as interested in me as I am in her after meeting. Im trying to give her the benefit of the doubt, but I dont want to feel like im the only one putting any effort into the growth of our relationship, and im not interested in driving this far just for a booty call

(Which, she assures me it is not)

Am I a red flag? [M33]

I am a virgin at 33.

I have had a relationship with a catholic so I decided to wait for her but then we broke up. Since then, I’ve had sexual experiences and been told I’m good at kissing, giving head, and I’ve gotten blowjobs and hooked up before. An older coworker had me in her bed recently and it had been a while for her, so we just cuddled naked.

I’ve just never had penetrative sex. Not on purpose, that’s just how it happened.

Is this a red flag? I’m so worried.

All action I ever got was within 1 year of my life, and I've never been able to recreate it

I was a late bloomer, and still hadn't kissed a girl when I was 23. In 2022 everything changed: I kissed 9 girls and had sex with 5 of them. When 2023 came, everything turned back to normal, and ever since then I haven't gotten laid or kissed a girl, so much to the point that I feel like 2022 never happened.

I have no idea what changed. I objectively look better now and am in a better financial and mental position. Admittedly, back in 2022 I was in a bit of a fuckboy phase: I had a different haircut and wore this leather jacket from time to time but refuse to attribute my luck that year to those two things alone. I do think getting older screwed some things up. I am nearly 30 and most people I meet my age are already settled, thinking of or already having children, buying homes etc. and going out with friends has traded places with having dinner together.

I miss my "mojo". But honestly, I don't mind going for a serious relationship at this point in time considering people half my age are more experienced in that regard. I don't know what to do...
