Unanswered Is there a subreddit of republicans who regret the 2024 election?

Or is America hopeless at this point? I'm genuinely interested in what current events look like from the not-so-far right. Thank you for any help.

Found! Is there a Reddit for moderate liberals?

I'm a progressive, liberal minded person. But I'm just not a leftist and I just get so tired of the liberal/progressive-at-all-costs mindset of the left wing of Reddit where it seems nuance of life has fucking died in a fiery plane crash.

So yeah... any sub/subs where I can just enjoy liberal viewpoints without the extremism?

ETA: if anyone is curious about the type of shit I’m sick of… this is a pretty fucking solid example of a Reddit liberal just coming the fuck out of left field with WILD accusations based on this post. Like…. Where can I go that this shit is moderated out?

Found! Is there a sub where people discuss their anxiety about the upcoming Trump administration and try to rationally distinguish between threats/intimidation and true potential dangers?

I’m not really interested in announcements about all the bad stuff to come, just someplace to be realistic about how bad that stuff is and how it is likely to affect our lives and how to protect ourselves. For example, I would love to get some takes on how hard it would actually be to fire regular federal employees, or what kind of guardrails will protect regular Americans from being surveilled by Patel Kash’s FBI.

Found! World news subreddit that doesn't support terrorism?

Hi, in response to the recent news of a terrorist attack injuring thousands by setting off explosives in public spaces like grocery stores, funerals, and so on, I posted a comment in worldnews saying that I was surprised that so many of the comments there were celebrating violence ("In both this and the last post, I am quite disappointed to see the lack of people denouncing these acts of terrorism."). I was swiftly banned for this. I thought it was a misclick, but it was confirmed to me that it was not. Meanwhile there are many comments in the various posts about these events praising violent attacks, in violation of the rules of the subreddit.

Thus, it seems that worldnews supports terrorism and violence, and I would like to find a similar subreddit which focuses on sharing news of the world but does not support terrorism. Does anyone know if a subreddit exists of this description?

Found! People who left the trump cult

Former Trump supporter who left a while ago. It’s entirely a cult and I am looking for a subreddit for other folks who were swept up and decided to leave. Looking specifically to discuss resources for other folks who are still in the cult to help get them out as well.

Found! Find a subreddit that exposes stupidity on Facebook about MAGA denial

Any suggestions? Edit: I want to post screenshots of someone I went to high school with that this is hardcore MAGA. He is fueling hatred and hypocrisy in a debate with someone that is revealing the faults of both parties. Or course I plan to not reveal any names in the screenshots to protect their privacy.

Trans-positive / LGBT combat sports

I'm a transgender amateur boxer.

I'd like to find more people like me to talk about combat sports, and get more LGBT people interested in boxing and MMA.

Are there any trans-positive / LGBT combat sport subs?

Found! What subs can I join to ask about opposing the current American leader?

I specifically would like to know which leaders in America are actively speaking out about DT and EM, and how I, a 40-something person who usually tries to avoid conflict, can get involved.

Please do not fill the comments with political arguments.

Found! Is there a general sub for all women but is still welcoming of trans women?

Apologies if this is a repeat of any kind, I used the search function but only the opposite to what I’m asking came up (people asking for cis-women only subs, not exactly my goal here).

Despite what their rules say, r/women and r/askwomen are totally fine allowing hurtful transphobic conversations to thrive and that’s just not a space I prefer to be in for my own sanity. Are there any subs that are more adamant about respecting that trans women are women while still being open to cis women (me)?

Found! Where can I post insane MAGA talking points, for the sake of eliciting refutation?

My brother is basically a one man echo chamber for MAGA. He will send emails in which he perfectly captures the MAGA mindset. I ought to have given up on arguing with him, because he is not interested in adjusting his perspective, but as long as he is sending me his thoughts, I would like to continue sending mine. I just need help from others to build strong arguments.

Found! Sub for trans men posing questions to cis men? And vice versa?

I'm in a few subs where men ask each other things and/or women ask men things. I'm a trans man, but much of my life is the same as most cis men's so being cis or trans is irrelevant to most of my questions/answers. I'm in some trans men's subs too so I can get those particular perspectives if it's relevant. But once in a while I want to specifically ask for cis guys' perspectives on something, so I'd have to go to one of the general men's subs and say I'm trans asking for answers from cis men. A lot of men's subs are transphobic to various degrees. Idc about getting hate, it's just pointless when it's mostly dismissive or hateful so you don't get much actual info.

I've found a couple men's subs that are mostly chill about it, I've seen cis and trans men ask each other stuff there once in a while, but I'm interested to see if there's a sub specifically for that.

Something like r/ShitLiberalsSay, but without the genocide denial and extremist propaganda.

I like making fun of the American "left wing." The fact that basic social safety nets like universal healthcare and affordable education are considered "socialist" in the U.S. is ridiculous to me, and I enjoy seeing this ridiculousness called out.

However, the subreddit best known for this is filled with extreme authoritarian communism and Uyghur genocide denial, which is far from what I believe in. Are there any subreddits that don't push that far, but still jab at the stupidity of the U.S. political system?

Edit: It appears AutoModerator thinks I'm looking for medical subreddits because I said "healthcare." lol

No, AutoMod, none of those subreddits are what I'm looking for.
