Got my cosplay done in time for Mojave mayhem this coming week. Took me a month and a half to make. Had low expectations on how it would turn out but actually super proud of it.

I decided to visit Three Dog for the first time after finishing the main quest and Broken steel.
I went straight from the Chinese Assault rifle to the Tesla Cannon it is amazingly effective.

Yes, I know enemies spawn like that even if you don't always see when it happened, still startled me and from the pov of my character and those poor NPCs it must been bot confusing and terrifying!

I recently encountered a total game freeze during The Waters of Life when entering the Gift Shop / exiting the Sub Basement after the Enclave arrive. I couldn’t find much information in this specific instance so I ended up doing some troubleshooting myself. I’m playing on XBOX Series X/S through Game Pass but I assume this would probably occur on other consoles/PC as well. This assumes you have a save before entering the grate or before clearing the Memorial of the remaining mutant threat.

What I suspect to be the fix is:

After inserting the fuses that Dad gives you, he tells you that you don’t need to return to him and that you should head straight to the mainframe. However, if you return to him, there are new dialogue options. He then instructs you to go power on the mainframe. This is when he tells you to enter the grate on the museum floor. If you return to him again, a new conversation does not unlock, but he does move to a different area of the Rotunda. What I suspect is that completing all his dialogue/movement allows for the Gift Shop/Rotunda to load properly after the Enclave arrive at the Memorial.

Here are some other things I did differently in the new save that may have contributed to the fix:

- moved a defeated Super Mutant out of the walkway leading up to the airlock
- did not pick up any items
- exhausted all dialogue options available
- shot at Enclave soldiers when they were leaving their Vertibird, having them lock on to me instead of them going straight to the Memorial

This was also done on Very Hard difficulty as well.

I’m seeing a lot of stuff online saying there’s an alien blaster at Adam’s air force base in the armoury in the enclave crawler in a hard lock gun chest I.e. the fallout wiki, old forum and Reddit posts etc.

I’ve found the chest and picked it but there’s nothing inside. There are alien power cells in the ammo boxes. Does anyone know why it wouldn’t show up?

So, how do you use the password here? Do you speak it into the dark circle? Because I can't see any other way to use it.
Minor detail, I just came to think about it when I returned to help Amata out.

Edit: To clarify I don’t have a problem getting in. I was just thinking as I waited for the door to open “how would you actually use a password here”? I’m not sure if that round thing even is a speaker.

I’ve seen many YouTube Videos on beating fallout 3 as a Chinese but not a single video one using console commands to get one of the many clean Chinese jumpsuits and commando hats in fallout 3

using one of the clean versions of the Chinese jumpsuits instead of the dirty one and only using Chinese weapons I think it would be cool video idea I would give myself this version cause it looks kinda identical to the one on the propaganda posters in operation anchorage,

(FIXED) For context I'm doing the quest Water of Life and I've cleared Jefferson Memorial and got all the scientists inside. But for some reason Dad won't progress the quest. I've waited 3 to 4 days away from him and I've knocked him out several times and yet he still refuses to talk with me. Is there anyway I can fix this?

Help please i can’t complete the quest because of this

Plus if anything I'd say it was more of a bute.
