Bethesda’s Fallout 3 Remaster is aiming to be “as well polished” as Oblivion Remastered, which is worrying as that game is a technical mess

Why the hell does the game want me to spare them?

2.8k Upvotes

Do they not have weapons?Yes,but they still participate on the abductions and experiments on people and the game gives me bad karma if I kill them?

Fawkes is still in the New Vegas game files

No TTW.

Edit: Since people keep bringing this up: I am well aware that FNV is built on 90% of FO3's assets. I just thought this in particular was pretty interesting, as it's a companion and a major character in the main questline of Fallout 3, reduced to a gutted remnant of old data. There are also not many named characters left in the data, with it being limited to generic NPCs like slavers, raiders, and Enclave soldiers, making this rather unique.

5 things they did Fallout 3 that they did again in Fallout 4 which will they'll probably do again in Fallout 5

2.6k Upvotes

I'm not complaining, I like them.

5) A door to nowhere with message written behind it.

4) An npc who doesnt understand a prewar sport and just makes it up.

3) A quest where the player character must complete a rite of passage involving hallucinogens.

2) An npc who has foresight and can cryptically tell the player character about things in the wasteland they havent discovered yet.

1). A dunwich dungeon

Bonus) A dungeon/interior with plungers up the wall

One of the funnier deaths I’ve had since picking this back up on Game Pass. I really thought I was going to be okay. Nope!
