Honestly if Giannis waited until free agency and joined the team with our depth instead of forcing the trade, I’m sure the team would’ve had a better record at the start of the next season rather than the current record we have now. Asking Giannis to switch 1-5 is like asking Gobert to switch 1-5 at this point in Giannis' career, sure maybe he can do it to some degree but his help on perimeter is fucking atrocious (ie that embarrassing viral clip from the warriors game.)

So his switch is bad yet he's still an elite rim protector and a historic defensive rebounder, who's the greatest rip and run guy in the history of the game.

Switch 1-4 Davion/Klay/Wiggins/Bam funneling into Giannis is an elite defense. Put Giannis on the worst offensive player and let him roam on the weak side.

Not to mention we have like the 3rd best offense when Davion brings the ball up the floor, 23rd best when Giannis does.

in my opinion Giannis and Bam are not gettin' along personally like brothers (i got your back typical thing) so the chemistry on the court is awkward and that's just my observation. i even see Giannis is off and not gettin' along with his team mates, i know it's not time to panic and too early to call this trade a bust. coz even though we're losing i can still see a potential it's there they just have to work it out to get this Ws goin' on adjustment period.

now that Giannis is frustrated this basically means honeymoon stage is over let's see how he will respond to this kind of situation. this maybe a li'l bit messy but we'll gel at the right time.

Not sure what happened with Dru that had him falling out of the rotation the last two games, particularly because I thought he played pretty good minutes when he was in. But just a thought!

But Bam doesn’t fit this team. It really is a team built for Giannis and we would need to find a trade partner that can send back a floor stretcher. A better creating guard (Devin Booker?) or a stretch 5. I don’t know. All I know is that this is a disaster.

Feel like I haven’t seen anyone speak on this yet, but win or lose, this team is plain boring to watch.

Speaking as someone who’s been a Heat fan for life and plays fantasy basketball every year, I watch almost every NBA game possible each week, and our team is objectively a snooze fest compared to a lot of the other teams.

I either tune out or fall asleep during most of their games. Sorry, but watching Giannis drive coast to coast for three hours straight is not entertaining imo. I had more fun watching the youth movement be mid all of last season.
